Thread: Pictures..This is why I fight for MY country

I wanted to share some photos of my home state, Oregon. Each time we take some time out, and take the kids for a few days to see some scenery and places, I really realize what I am fighting for. The overall freedom and openness we have always shared in this nation. The ability to travel freely, to speak freely, to enjoy the blessings (such as our beautiful nation) God has allowed us to have, and in that, the freedom to worship freely worship that same God, without fear of persecution.

Every time I take these tirps with our kids, they are short, our lives are quite full and we take what little time we have to enjoy it, I am so grateful for my state, my nation, and it really makes me more assured that what time I am able to devote (beyond our families need of me to manage most of what happens here) to calling DC, encouraging others to become involved, it is well worth it, and I cannot let it go, it is just too important.

Here is just a small part of my state, Oregon, this is just in the northestern corner, the Blue Mountains, Strawberry Mountain Wilderness near Prairie City Oregon, I encourage you all to get out, see the great creation in your state, take photos, and share them here:

We live on the "wet side" of the state, where the main metro areas are, and of course, the jobs, but I know where my heart is and it is in this place in these photos. I could live out there, with all of it's limitations, things we are used to here, they do not have out there, fine with me, but my husband, born and raised inside of Chicago, and never had even camped till he and I were together, this might not have the emmenities he has grown accustomed to .

When I travel just to these places, and they are a good distance from us, about a 5 hour drive away (Oregon is the 9th largest state in our union, by land mass) and have barely touched what is here, it makes me think how huge our nation is, and how lucky we are, but how much people take it all for granted, assuming it will always be free and always be available to us. However, we are really seeing the slow dismantling of it all, and are at a huge risk of losing it.

However, what encourages me, in realizing how big our nation is, how incredible it is that we have all connected, from across this enormous nation, to do all we can to protect it, and fight for it.

And fight for it we will, AmericanElizabeth. Always and forever. Be hopeful everyone. We're going to win some and lose some, but at the end of the day, there is no group of thugs, whether they shroud themselves as pro-amnesty, pro-immigration or pro-free trade advocates, that can or will succeed in destroying or dismantling our country, for one very simple reason, which is despite our differences from time to time, the majority of Americans has 2 things in common, and those are 1) our unbridled love for our country and each other and 2) our unfettered desire to leave our country to the next generation in better condition than it was handed to us.

We're in a struggle right now and with to do to correct damage done by others while we were snoozing pre-occupied with work, family, friends, activities and the daily toil of what has always been the American Way of Life and unbeknown to us, treachery was in motion to hurt and harm us. But the cat is out of the bag, we know most of its faces and names and actions, so the task at hand is to remove those faces and names from the US Congress in 2010. And we will. Beware, though, because these globalist thugs are chameleons who change themselves to appear to be what they are not, so dig deep, be cautious, analyze carefully, and make the best choices possible.
