MUZQUIZ, MEXICO - Mexico has requested U.S. help to fight forest fires raging in the northern part of the country.

More than 185,000 acres of grassland have burned, primarily in the Mexican state that borders Texas.

Mexico is suffering from its worst outbreak of fires in several years.

The wind is blowing the fires to the southwest and neither the U.S. or inhabited areas of Mexico are in danger.
