DICKINSON, N.D. -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it seized more than 50 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop along Interstate 94 in Dickinson.

A news release issued by the patrol on Monday says a trooper stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation Saturday around 7 p.m. A subsequent search of the vehicle using a drug-sniffing dog found the marijuana in heat-sealed bags.

The two people inside the vehicle were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

They are identified as 29-year-old Arturas Teras of Van Nuys, Calif., and 35-year-old Donatas Jasiulionis of Seattle, Wash.
