I'd like to have a book burning and burn Obama and Pelosi's books!
Otherwise I think burning the books is ridiculous!

I thought perhaps this might have been misinformation.........not. Seems there is some truth to this insane story.

I thought there was something in the Constitution or somewhere that ruled against making actions of the past a crime because of a new law that has passed.

The books where made complying with all of the laws at the time.

I can't help thinking there is something much more sinister than the possibility of a little lead behind this.

Old books are great, they offer a window to the past, a place to bounce current debates and ideas against the wall to see what sticks and what stinks.

I don't know why they burned the books or threw they away in the garbage. That just doesn't make any sense at all. They should have saved them and fought the law for an exemption. They were supposed to be working on one and got one back to 1985, they should have stuck with it and gotten one back to forever.

Besides, any book older than 24 years old is pretty much a souvenir or collectible. They should never have thrown them away if they had any true historical or literary value to them.
