New Medicare Cards Expected in 2019
New Medicare Cards Expected in 2019
Posted: Jun 09, 2017 1:40 PM PDT Updated: Jun 09, 2017 1:40 PM PDT
WESLACO – The Federal Trade Commission announced Medicare cards will change.
The card will be replaced with one that no longer shows a person’s Social Security number. Beginning April 2019, the card will have a new Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) that will be used for billing and for checking eligibility and claim status.
The change will happen automatically and it will be at no cost to anyone.
The removal of the number from the Medicare cards is in effort to help fight medical identity theft and protect medical and financial information.
For more on the changes visit Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. People can report fraudulent claims to the FTC.

Why do you start two threads about the same topic, then post links to each the other, rather than putting them in the same thread?

This one was posted June 09, 2017, and about the whole U.S.
The other one I just found, and is about CA.
Following that logic all DACA articles would be on one thread, every Trump article would be on one thread, etc. and it's easy to see that's not the way we do it here. YOU can post any article and put a live link on another article to move that article back to the top of the page where it will get more interest and more views and/or put a live link on both articles to make it easy for anyone who reads one article to locate the other articles about that subject, or any other subject, if you want to. No one cares. YOU can also post any article and start a thread and run it as long as you want, no one cares, but it's already been done. We have the world's largest collection of birther articles (all on one thread) right here at ALIPAC.
