    Yep, fortunately it doesn't seem like he was able to crash the servers which I'm sure is what they wanted. Seems gone now. We'll hear from W and the mods on this I'm sure. Was a wild ride wasn't it???

    The IP address varies depending on the type of service you have. If you have cable internet or similar broadband, you usually have a static IP (it's the same every time you log on). Other types of service feature a dynamic IP address that varies slightly each time you log on. Admin. panels of most BBs show logged in members by both name and IP address. Even with a dynamic address, most accounts may be traced to a narrow geographical area unless the member in question knows how to spoof an IP address or use a remote proxy.
