Why Is the U.S. Backing Communist Kurdish Terrorists?

    By: Art Thompson
    08/25/2014

JBS CEO Art Thompson's weekly news video update for August 25 - 31, 2014.

In this week's analysis behind the news video, JBS CEO Art Thompson discusses how the United States is now backing a communist Kurdish terrorist group in Iraq; how neocon Dick Cheney is warning us about how we'll probably have a major terrorist problem within the United States when it was neocons in government, such as Cheney, and their policies regarding the Middle East, that have brought about this problem in the first place; how Russia has been arming and training Middle East terrorist organizations for decades; how Russia is ramping up its propaganda in Europe via its RT Internet news outlet; and how NATO is being developed into a world police force.

Syrian Government: James Foley Killed a Year Ago

Fresh doubt thrown on veracity of beheading video

    by Paul Joseph Watson |August 26, 2014

Fresh doubt has been thrown on the narrative behind the James Foley beheading video after a Syrian government spokesperson claimed that the American journalist was killed by ISIS militants a year ago.
Following the release of a video last week which purported to show the murder of Foley, top forensic experts concluded that the footage was staged using “camera trickery and slick post-production techniques,” concurring with Infowars’ analysis that the video was highly dubious given that it was immediately used as justification for military strikes on Syria.
Official Syrian government spokesperson Bouthaina Shaaban has now complicated matters further by asserting that Foley was in fact murdered by Islamic State militants a year ago.

“James Foley was first arrested by the Free Syrian Army and he was sold to ISIS [an earlier name for the IS]. You can check with the UN…James Foley was killed a year ago, not now, they only released the pictures now, but he was killed a year ago. We have definite information, the UN has the information,” said Shaaban. The claim contradicts the narrative that Foley’s family received a letter on August 12 from ISIS militants threatening to execute the journalist if Barack Obama gave the green light for air strikes on Islamic State militants in Iraq. The Foley beheading video has been used as a poster child for accomplishing what Washington failed to do in the aftermath of last year’s chemical weapons attack in Ghouta – build a consensus for a military assault on Syria. Officials and lawmakers have cited the video as providing a “new context” which legitimizes an expansion of U.S. military activity in the middle east. Although the air strikes will ostensibly target ISIS fighters and not Syrian government positions, Assad has repeatedly asserted that any U.S. military action in Syria will be seen as an act of war, threatening to enflame the entire region. According to reports today, Obama has ordered US spy planes to start patrolling the country with a view to launching a military assault, “a step that would plunge the U.S. into a country already ravaged by an intractable civil war,” reports the Daily Mail. CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama sent no White House representative to the memorial Mass held yesterday in Rochester, New Hampshire, for James Foley, the American journalist beheaded by the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) terrorists.
President Obama, however, did send three White House aides to Monday’s funeral for Michael Brown, an 18-year-old African American fatally shot in an encounter with a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo.

The memorial mass for James Foley took place Sunday at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Foley’s hometown. Connie Hammond, an administrative assistant at Holy Rosary, told CNSNews.com that no White House officials were in attendance.

“There was nobody that represented the White House,” Hammond said, adding that all of the dignitaries in attendance called ahead except for one and that all of them sat together.

Tom Bebbington, director of communications for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester, told CNSNews.com that the officials in attendance at the Mass included New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan (D.), Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R.-N.H.) and Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D.-N.H), and Rep. Ann Kuster (D.-N.H.).

Bebbington confirmed that no White House officials were present.

Pope Francis sent his condolences to the Foley family in a letter that was read during the Mass.

The letter said the Holy Father “commends James to the loving mercy of God our Father, and joins all who mourn him in praying for an end to senseless violence and the dawn of reconciliation and peace among all the members of the human family.”

While Obama sent no White House officials to Foley’s Sunday memorial Mass, he sent three to Michael Brown’s Monday funeral.

These, according to the Associated Press, included Broderick Johnson, chairman of the White House's My Brother's Keeper Task Force; Marlon Marshall, the deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, who went to high school with Brown's mother; and Heather Foster, who is an adviser to the Office of Public Engagement.

James Foley, a freelance photojournalist, was murdered by ISIS terrorists, who released a video of his beheading last week. He had previously been imprisoned while reporting from Libya.

“Jim was a journalist, a son, a brother, and a friend,” Obama said in a statement released last week following news of Foley’s death, “He reported from difficult and dangerous places, bearing witness to the lives of people a world away.”

“Today, the American people will all say a prayer for those who loved Jim,” Obama concluded, “All of us feel the ache of his absence. All of us mourn his loss.”

Obama was later criticized for going golfing shortly after making this statement on Foley’s beheading.

CNSNews.com asked the White House why no White House official attended James Foley’s memorial Mass.

“The President expressed his profound condolences to the family in his statement last week,” responded Ned Price, a spokesman for the National Security Council. “He was speaking on behalf of his Administration—as well as the American people—in offering these words to the Foley family, and he continues to keep them in his thoughts as we attempt to bring the other American hostages home.”

Shiite Turkmen in the Iraqi town of Taza Khurmatu mourn at a funeral for 15 villagers executed by ISIS terrorists in June 2014. (AP photo)

(CNSNews.com) – The Islamic State of Iraq and al Sham (ISIS) slaughtered about 700 Turkmen civilians last month, including "children, women, and old people," United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Iraq chief Marzio Babille told Agenzia Nazionale Stampa Associata (ANSA).
The massacre of members of the country’s Shiite minority occurred in the northern Iraqi village of Beshir between July 11th and 12
The Turkmen ethnic group makes up roughly four percent of Iraq's population, according to the BBC. As members of the Shia Muslim sect, they are directly targeted by Islamic State Sunni extremists, who consider them apostates.
Navi Pillay, the UN’s high commissioner for human rights, warned of the increasingly desperate plight of thousands of Turkmen who have been under seige for two months in the village of Amerli, which is located about 110 miles northwest of Baghdad.
In a statement released Monday the UN reported that “at least 13,000 members of the Shia Turkmen community in Amirli in Salah al-Din Governorate, among them 10,000 women and children, have been besieged by ISIL and associated armed groups since 15 June. Residents are enduring harsh living conditions with severe food and water shortages, and a complete absence of medical services – and there are fears of a possible imminent massacre.”
The high commissioner “echoed the urgent call by the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq for the international community to work with the authorities to prevent a humanitarian and human rights tragedy.”
The Associated Press first reported that ISIS massacred Shiite Turkmen villagers during a midday attack on Beshir, Chardaghli, Brawchi and Karanaz in northern Iraq back in June.
“It is not yet clear how many people were killed in the attack on the four farming villages,” the Washington Post reported at the time. “Gen. Turhan Abdel-Rahman, Kirkuk’s deputy police chief, said he knew of at least 40 slain residents — 25 from three villages who were buried Sunday, plus the 15 interred Monday, who were from the fourth town, Bashir.'There are other bodies still inside Bashir,' he said.”
The high commissioner’s statement also describes a massacre of prisoners and detainees in Mosul’s Badoush Prison on June 10, which has been confirmed by The Human Rights Office of the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq.
“According to interviews with 20 survivors and 16 witnesses of the massacre, ISIL gunmen loaded between 1,000 and 1,500 prisoners onto trucks and transported them to a nearby uninhabited area,” the statement says.
“There, armed men asked the Sunnis to separate themselves from the others. Around 100 prisoners who joined the Sunni group were suspected by ISIL not to be Sunni and were subjected to individual checks based on how they prayed and their place of origin.
"Sunni inmates were ordered back on the trucks and left the scene. ISIL gunmen then yelled insults at the remaining prisoners, lined them up in four rows, ordered them to kneel and opened fire. Up to 670 prisoners were reportedly killed.”
“Such cold-blooded, systematic and intentional killings of civilians, after singling them out for their religious affiliation may amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity,” the UN high commissioner said.

Islam and Obama’s Escape from Planet Reality

    Tim Brown 32 mins ago

Just minutes after defending Islam in a speech about the beheading of James Foley by the Islamic State (ISIS), President Barack Obama was back on the golf course. There's something quite significant and symbolic about the President rushing to the golf course to avoid the horrors of a beheading. It's analogous to the mental running our leaders have to do in order to avoid the truth about Islam. –David Wood

So how does David Wood respond? He creates a bedtime story called Barack Obama's Escape from Planet Reality. No seriously, he did!
Wood provides recitation of the Koran and the teachings of Muhammad in order to help balance the lies of the Obama administration that no religion would engage in these things and that a just God would not demand such things, according to Islam.
Wood brilliantly uses clips of Obama's speech in which he denies the very things taught in the Koran. Yes, the same Koran, Obama, with perfect Arabic accent, calls the "holy Koran."
As Wood has done before in responding to the Boston Bombing and UK Prime Minister David Cameron's submission to Islam, he makes the point that everything that is said by leaders who try and defend the death cult of Islam is either a flat out lie or is purposefully deceptive.
Using quotes from both the Koran and the hadiths, Wood demonstrates that ISIS (Islamic State) is merely doing what they are commanded to do in the Koran. Those that say they are not obeying the Koran and not true followers of Islam are either silent and complicit, deceiving others, completely ignorant of the Koran or purposefully lying about Islam.

While the story is a bit dark for a children's book, the point Wood was making is that Obama seems to be oblivious to reality. However, I would note that I believe Obama knows exactly what the Koran teaches and is just fine with it. However, he is more interested in his golf game and all the goodies that come with the office than he is with actually doing the job. His focus is on himself and on bringing America to its knees.
Watch and share with your friends who may still believe that the ideology of ISIS is not true Islam. Then take time to explain to them the true religion of peace through the gospel of Jesus Christ and call them to repent of their sins and obey the true and living God, then learn how you can be useful in stopping the Islamization in America.

Rand Paul criticizes Clinton’s 'shoot first' policy on Syria

    By Peter Sullivan

    Getty Images
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) criticized potential 2016 presidential opponent Hillary Clinton's Syria policy in an op-ed Wednesday, saying she was “eager to shoot first" without understanding the situation.

Paul argued in the Wall Street Journal that arming the Syrian rebels, as Clinton advocated as secretary of State, would have strengthened the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, a Sunni militant group.

"To interventionists like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, we would caution that arming the Islamic rebels in Syria created a haven for the Islamic State," Paul wrote."We are lucky Mrs. Clinton didn't get her way and the Obama administration did not bring about regime change in Syria. That new regime might well be ISIS," he said.

"Mrs. Clinton was also eager to shoot first in Syria before asking some important questions," he added.

The sharp criticism is only the latest from Paul directed against Clinton, the clear Democratic favorite for president in 2016.

On “Meet the Press” on Sunday, Paul called Clinton a "war hawk" and said her policies could entangle the U.S. in another Middle East conflict.

In his op-ed Thursday, Paul also cautioned against forcing Syrian leader Bashar Assad out of power, warning that Islamic militants who are fighting him could themselves seize the country.

The Obama administration has called for Assad to leave power but finds itself in a difficult situation as it steps up attacks on ISIS in Iraq and weighs strikes against the militant group in Syria as well.

Paul previously said he has "mixed feelings" about the Iraq strikes.

"This is not to say the U.S. should ally with Assad," Paul wrote. "But we should recognize how regime change in Syria could have helped and emboldened the Islamic State, and recognize that those now calling for war against ISIS are still calling for arms to factions allied with ISIS in the Syrian civil war.

“We should realize that the interventionists are calling for Islamic rebels to win in Syria and for the same Islamic rebels to lose in Iraq," he added.

Paul has caused some worry in the Republican establishment over his foreign policy views.

He used the Wall Street Journal, whose editorial page often calls for a more engaged stance, to argue for a foreign policy focused only on U.S. interests.

"A more realistic foreign policy would recognize that there are evil people and tyrannical regimes in this world, but also that America cannot police or solve every problem across the globe," Paul wrote.

"Only after recognizing the practical limits of our foreign policy can we pursue policies that are in the best interest of the U.S."

DNC spokesman Michael Czin hit back at Paul's op-ed, casting him as making the U.S. less safe by retreating from the world

"That type of 'blame America' rhetoric may win Paul accolades at a conference of isolationists but it does nothing to improve our standing in the world," Czin said in a statement. "In fact, Paul's proposals would make America less safe and less secure. Simply put, if Rand Paul had a foreign policy slogan, it would be — the Rand Paul Doctrine: Blame America. Retreat from the World.”
