Obama Rasmussen -21 spread, only 25% strongly approve

I have found this an interesting site to follow. You can get email alerts every day to follow these numbers. The two numbers today are the lowest yet; only 25% strongly approve and a -16 index between those who strongly disapprove.

You can go to the link and click on trends to see how it has been tanking.

Now the point -the silent majority must roar next year during the elections. And with this health care issue. And with comprehensive immigration reform being introduced next week...

He is tanking but he and his masters are forging full steam ahead acting like he is a dictator! He could care less about the approval index.

Dictators care not what those pesky little nothings have to say or what they think. Especially if they can permanently shut them up as exaples to the rest.

I read the article in Rolling Stone magazine which is usually a younger, liberal magazine for the college age plus crowd, and was amazed to see how they ripped Obama apart in last weeks Dec 9th article.

They also put down some of the Tea Party crowd, but it seems that there is a "left" group that is as upset about the bail outs and tax payers bill coming due as the Tea Party crowd is.

This article is in the Dec issue that has a circulation of over 1.4 million readers in it's biweekly format, and the average age reader is 31.1.

I posted it here on the Obama's Big Sellout - you should read it.

You are right they are not happy with their chosen one.

What's taken place in the year since Obama won the presidency has turned out to be one of the most dramatic political about-faces in our history. Elected in the midst of a crushing economic crisis brought on by a decade of orgiastic deregulation and unchecked greed, Obama had a clear mandate to rein in Wall Street and remake the entire structure of the American economy. What he did instead was ship even his most marginally progressive campaign advisers off to various bureaucratic Siberias, while packing the key economic positions in his White House with the very people who caused the crisis in the first place. This new team of bubble-fattened ex-bankers and laissez-faire intellectuals then proceeded to sell us all out, instituting a massive, trickle-up bailout and systematically gutting regulatory reform from the inside.

How could Obama let this happen? Is he just a rookie in the political big leagues, hoodwinked by Beltway old-timers? Or is the vacillating, ineffectual servant of banking interests we've been seeing on TV this fall who Obama really is?

After this farce of a cloture vote, bribery of Nelson, etc... I wonder what tomorrow's numbers will bring. Today is important as it is the highest rate of disapproval yet.

    Daily Presidential Tracking Poll
    Monday, December 21, 2009

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17 (see trends).

Today’s update show the highest level of Strong Disapproval yet recorded for this President. It comes as the Senate is preparing to pass health care reform legislation initiated by the President and opposed by most voters. That latest Rasmussen Reports tracking, released earlier today, shows that 41% support the health care legislation and 55% are opposed.
