Obama seeking legitimacy from the British Queen?

For the rest of the world, yesterday came and went as May 24, 2011, not 2008 as President Barack Obama printed in the Westminster Abbey guest book alongside his signature. Today, England’s proverbial stiff upper lip is being put to the test as Obama still licks royal boots in London.

We common plebes knew well ahead of time when globetrotting ‘President Hopeless’ was off to Egypt, Brazil, India and other lands. But we, like the too many things not known about Obama, will never know whether a buff colored envelope with an invitation to Merry Old England arrived at the White House or whether the White House decided it was time to showcase Hopeless overseas in an official right royal manner.

We do know that the boorishness of Obama was on the menu along with lamb, roast potatoes and vanilla Charlotte at the state dinner, where the legend in his own mind continued his televised toast to the queen even after the orchestra struck up.

We also know that his sudden love of the Brits is as dependable as English sunshine, if only through the braggadocio of his book, that the father of the one he claims as his own, was “tortured by the Britishâ€

Did the Queen ask him to roll our borders back to 1776?
