Obama Signs Executive Order to Bolster Gun Registry

President Obama has not just been speaking in front of cameras with victims of gun violence staged behind him, he's also been busy bypassing Congress by signing executive orders and other actions on gun control.

In January, Obama issued 23 executive gun control proposals that were mostly organizational and procedural in nature. But now he has officially signed his first definitive executive order to take gun control into his own hands, according to The Hill.

The Hill reports:

The president has used his executive powers to bolster the national background check system, jumpstart government research on the causes of gun violence and create a million-dollar ad campaign aimed at safe gun ownership.

The executive steps will give federal law enforcement officials access to more data about guns and their owners, help keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill, and lay the groundwork for future legislative efforts.

Obama's Department of Justice says their aim is to strengthen the "quality and quantity of records contained within the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS)."

Last week the DOJ announced that it is pouring $20 million into beefing up the national gun registry.


“As part of President Obama’s comprehensive plan to reduce gun violence, the Administration is committed to enhancing and strengthening the national criminal record system in support of stronger firearm background checks,” said Attorney General Eric Holder. “The Department of Justice intends to take immediate and effective action to work with states to fill gaps in information currently available to the NICS system.”

The DOJ describes the new program as follows:

Funding will be provided under National Criminal History Improvement Program (NCHIP), NICS Act Record Improvement Program (NARIP), and a new, one-time initiative called, Improving the Completeness of Firearm Background Checks through Enhanced State Data Sharing. This new initiative creates a competitive grant program designed to incentivize states, territories and tribes to share information with NICS by closing information gaps that inhibit complete and accurate background checks.

Obama's administrative action also included plans for more research into "trigger locks and firearm safe standards to determine if they need to be improved" - aka smart guns, and $1 million to promote gun control through a propaganda campaign.

The Hill writes:

Separately, the administration has given $1 million to the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) to create, produce and distribute a nationwide multimedia ad campaign on safe gun ownership and storage. The campaign is heading into the research phase and is expected to air by the early fall, according to a NCPC spokeswoman.

Isn't this something the NRA does for free, funded by memberships? These multimedia ads will most likely be some ghastly "see something, say something" campaign to help viewers identify "irresponsible" gun owners.

Finally, this executive order will subsidize the surveillance-industrial complex through a "Cooperative Purchasing" program to provide schools with discounted rates for "surveillance cameras, emergency communication systems, security design and support, and employee background check systems."

Federally-funded Big Brother surveillance for schools by executive order. It seems the gun control frenzy is bearing more tyrannical fruit than could have been dreamed up by Orwell himself.

In summary, Obama has signed an executive order to expand and improve the gun database with $20 million in funding, appropriated money for a anti-gun propaganda blitz, and wants all schools tracked, traced, and databased.

If the motivation for an executive order like this was anything but gun control, Americans would probably be mortified. But instead, the numbed masses will likely cheer that he is finally doing something to avenge senseless murder. Problem-Reaction-Solution accomplished.

Obama and Biden Campaigning to Disarm Americans

Vice President Joe Biden warned Wednesday that the upcoming Senate vote was only the beginning of their gun control fight, a fight that concerns many who believe it may actually be aimed at eventually disarming millions of law-abiding citizens.

The warning, made during a conference call organized by gun-grabbing, globalist-backed Mayors Against Illegal Guns, is a stark reminder that, although the assault weapons ban has so far failed, the fight for the 2nd Amendment is far from over.

"That doesn't mean this is the end of the process. This is the beginning of the process," Biden was quoted as saying in a report by the Associated Press.

Despite overwhelming anger towards the planned banning of hundreds of weapons and the outright attack on guns in general, Biden went on to claim that they are simply following what the American people want.

"The American people are way ahead of their political leaders and we, the president and I and the mayors, intend to stay current with the American people."

"We believe that weapons of war have no place on our streets," Biden said.

Sadly, this tactic is being used throughout the corporate media with dozens of cable news pundits claiming over and over again that Americans want gun control, while using rigged polls taken by corporate companies to back their alarmist propaganda.

Meanwhile, President Obama appeared alongside mothers of gun victims on Thursday to once again use the horrific death of children as a backdrop to push the gun control agenda.

Described as an, "impassioned plea," by the New York Times, Obama took to the podium, complete with perfectly angled sad mothers in the background who had just shared stories about their dead children, to demand a continued push for gun control, essentially indicating that if you support the mothers behind him then you will support the numerous gun control laws currently being put forward in Congress.

“Less than 100 days ago that happened, and the entire country was shocked and the entire country pledged we would do something about it and this time would be different,” Obama said.

“Shame on us if we’ve forgotten. I haven’t forgotten those kids. Shame on us if we’ve forgotten.”

“The notion that two months or three months after something as horrific as what happened in Newtown happens and we’ve moved on to other things?” “That’s not who we are. That’s not who we are. And I want to make sure every American is listening today.”

“We need everybody to remember how we felt 100 days ago and make sure that what we said at that time wasn't just a bunch of platitudes, that we meant it.”

Obama then went on to use numerous fallacies in a psychological manipulation attempt, including the use of rigged statistics to put forth the idea that only a few crazies stand against his political agenda.

"90% of Americans, 90%, support background checks that will keep criminals and people who have been found to be a danger to themselves or others from buying a gun."

I ask every American to find out where their member of Congress stands on these ideals, if they are not part of the 90%.... you should ask them why not, why are you a part of the 10%?"

The sheer amount of staged psychological manipulation in Obama's speech would put most Hollywood directors to shame.

Apparently, our commander in chief has no problem standing on stage pretending the issue is about dead children when in reality it's about a plan that has been in the making for years. That plan includes first the registration of all firearms with the federal government, and the eventual wholesale confiscation of most if not all of those firearms. This used to be a conspiracy theory, but now it's obviously conspiracy fact.

As Mayors Against Illegal Guns uses billionaire globalist Michael Bloomberg's money to hold so-called grassroots rallies across the country, which are actually just echoing the exact talking points put out by Biden, Obama, and the entire gun-grabbing Congress, it is monumentally important that real, everyday Americans continue to fight for liberty and speak out in support of the 2nd Amendment.

It is clear that its foes are not going anywhere.
