The rule of law is all we have, once that's destroyed, the basic foundation on which this country was established is destroyed as well...

    America’s Deconstruction Complete Under Obama

    joeforamerica.com

the rule of law is a cornerstone of the nation. However, all bets are off once eviscerated under Obama

AMERICA can only lay claim to its exceptional status, as long as the rule of law is a cornerstone of the nation. However, all bets are off once eviscerated under Obama.
IN this regard, such is the current state of affairs, as the Dictator-in-Chief enters the last phase of his second-term. So the urgent question becomes: where is America heading?
    Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

    {re-blogged at Islam Exposed}
THE deconstruction of traditional America did not start under Barack HUSSEIN Obama, but it will cement itself under his reign. This is not for nothing. Who better than a Marxist, socialist, communist-leaning, racial hybrid and Islamic-infused POTUS to seal its fate? You think?
AS a side note, and not to roam too far afield mentally, does anyone believe that teaching kiddies in the 4th/5th grade about the “safe” practice of anal sex came about out of thin air?
BUT never mind their denials…blah, blah…now that Chicago’s social engineers (of all places, what a shock) got caught with their pants down. Well, unabashedly, they claim it was a mistake that said material got included in the curriculum. Yes, Snopes chimed in and reiterated that it was half true and half false. Factually, Snopes has been known to fudge certain truths and to label them “rumors”. And so it shall be believed. Decreed.
STILL, before we delve into the heart of the matter, it is imperative that the overall public takes note: the mocking of Christianity and Judaism, the cornerstones of traditional America, became a core component to the purposeful destruction since the 1950′s. Moreover, its disastrous results will be the same, whether one is a firm traditional believer or a secular patriot. Don’t forget this.
AND the very fact that the Dictator-in-Chief is declaring executive amnesty for millions of illegals, well, that too is not incidental to the aforementioned decades-in-the-making deconstruction. Its tipping point, regardless of anything else, requires flooding the nation with those whose allegiance lies elsewhere, in addition to the infiltration and penetration of terrorists and criminal elements. A cooked up recipe for national disaster.
NOW whether or not one can see the dots leading to America’s upending, one has to agree that a surging storm is brewing, including pre-planned race riots, particularly since “Tray”.
Barack Obama met with the extremist leaders of the Ferguson riots/protests in the White House and told them to “stay the course” on November 5th. His “course” is to gut white police departments and obliterate current law enforcement procedures.
The White House is no friend to law enforcement.
Read the excerpt from the New York Times which was first posted by The Gateway Pundit:
Some of the national leaders met with President Obama on Nov. 5 for a gathering that included a conversation about Ferguson.
According to the Rev. Al Sharpton, who has appeared frequently in St. Louis with the Brown family and delivered a speech at Mr. Brown’s funeral, Mr. Obama “was concerned about Ferguson staying on course in terms of pursuing what it was that he knew we were advocating. He said he hopes that we’re doing all we can to keep peace.”
Protest leaders said wholesale change was ultimately what they were demanding, though not all agreed on what that meant. Some called for the removal of the Ferguson police chief or the entire department. Others said they want the police to wear cameras; civilian review boards for all police shootings; or a requirement that ethnic and racial makeup of police departments match the communities they serve.
“It must be changing how police and citizens relate to one another,” said Michael T. McPhearson, the co-chairman of the Don’t Shoot Coalition. “We’re calling for police accountability, police transparency, changing how the police do their work. If there’s an indictment or if there’s not an indictment, we still have that work to do.”
Al Sharpton, a White House advisor, was in Ferguson until the day of the election. He met with Barack Obama the day after the election and has returned to Ferguson to foment rebellion. He is being guided by the president of the United States.
Barack Obama would fit in with these extremists or with the Occupiers. Like them, he wants a national movement to bring in his vision of a new America, one that meets his requirements for social justice. He is guiding this. It’s not about Darren Wilson or Michael Brown, it’s about his movement to fundamentally change America.
Ferguson organizers want their rioting and protests to lead to a national movement. Some don’t want violence, others do. “One group has said on Twitter that it was offering a reward for information on the whereabouts of the officer, Darren Wilson, and, at another point, that it was “restocking on 7.62 & 9 mm ammo,” according to The New York Times.
We continually hear that Michael Brown was unarmed but he was armed with his fists. He was a big man, who towered over the officer he allegedly attacked. That’s irrelevant anyway. Michael Brown is being used.
Fifty organizations have joined a “Don’t Shoot Coalition” and many won’t rule out violence and looting. Many are Muslim and communist rabble rousers. The occupiers and anonymous are involved – all hoping to bring down the country. There are racist groups like the New Black Panthers and there are the gang members.
Captain Ron Johnson has marched with and met with all of them, foolishly giving these thugs credibility and legitimacy.
There are some actual protesters who aren’t thugs but they’ve been completely overshadowed and their concerns minimized.
Umar Lee, a Muslim and a Ferguson activist, was arrested recently for threatening to behead someone.
There is a strong Muslim, anti-Jewish presence at these events as there was in Occupy Wall Street.
ALL of the above coincides with his illegal gutting of the Constitution, and it is a step by step process. Essentially, one must comprehend that rampant chaos plays into the hands of all those who seek to bring down America, with Obama Inc. as the hatchet men. The undertakers.
President Obama announced a plan Thursday night to mainstream millions of illegal immigrants with an executive order allowing them to stay instead of facing deportation, bringing howls from Republicans who complained about so-called ‘anchor babies’ helping their illegal parents remain in the U.S.
The president calmly explained in a 16-minute speech – subtitled in Spanish – the parameters of what angry Republicans are calling a lawless ‘amnesty.’
‘We’re going to offer the following deal,’ he said: ‘If you’ve been in America for more than five years; if you have children who are American citizens or legal residents; if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you’re willing to pay your fair share of taxes – you’ll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily, without fear of deportation.’
‘You can come out of the shadows and get right with the law.’
‘Tonight President Obama issued an oral royal decree that will be followed by a written regal decree, as any good monarch would do,’ Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert jabbed in a statement.
‘This unlawful, blatant executive action would legalize more than 5 million people here illegally. This president is single-handedly creating a constitutional crisis and hurting the citizens he took an oath to protect and defend.’
Utah Sen. Mike Lee, another tea party-linked lawmaker, called the president’s speech ‘a desperate attempt to remain relevant…..’
By that time, Republicans will control both houses of Congress and may take action to reverse the policy.

‘The president has decided to defy the American people, ignore the election results, and usurp the legislative process,’ Lee said. ‘This act demonstrates he respects neither election outcomes, nor the rule of law.’
But the president played on Americans’ heartstrings in what sounded at times like one of his 2008 campaign speeches.
The immigration debate, he said, is ‘about who we are as a country, and who we want to be for future generations.’
‘Are we a nation that tolerates the hypocrisy of a system where workers who pick our fruit and make our beds never have a chance to get right with the law?’ he asked. ‘Or are we a nation that gives them a chance to make amends, take responsibility, and give their kids a better future?’
‘Are we a nation that accepts the cruelty of ripping children from their parents’ arms? Or are we a nation that values families, and works to keep them together?’
EVER the brazen anti-American, it wasn’t enough that he honored a pro amnesty felon, he has now upped the ante and gutted the rule of law, the cornerstone of a lawful society:
Activist Dawn Le of the Alliance for Citizenship sent an email out to her contacts this week calling for the formation of “watch parties” Thursday evening and Friday in anticipation of a “celebratory” announcement regarding amnesty. BuzzFeed reported that labor union representative Jeff Hauser passed the correspondence along to several news organizations – apparently by accident.
    Heritage ActionVerified account‏@Heritage_Action

Amnesty advocates planning Thursday night watch parties for Obama’s unlawful announcement. buzzfeed.com/katenocera/oop…
    https://twitter.com/i/cards/tfw/v1/5...lt3967&xdm_p=1

The email, which was obviously sent to rally pro-amnesty activists, arrived in the inboxes of reporters from major outlets, including the New York Times and USA Today, before Hauser followed up with a second email asking the recipients to “please ignore” his previous message.

Obama will also likely allow immigrants currently in the U.S. illegally to remain in this country and could announce new border security measures. Reports suggest the only deportation efforts Obama is interested in pursuing involve illegals convicted of serious crimes.

ON the other hand, if millions of Americans heed the call of traditional America, there is a possibility to save the Republic. Otherwise, fuggedaboutit!

MOST urgently – as the above youtube advocates – the Criminal-in-Chief must be arrested through the right afforded to patriots via the legal vehicle of a citizen’s arrest.

In the United States, civilians are empowered to stop perpetrators in the act of aserious crime and use reasonable force to hold them until an officer of the law arrives on the scene. The conditions under which this is permitted vary from state to state, so it’s important to understand the laws in your region in case you are ever in the position to stop a criminal. Read on to learn more about how to make a citizen’s arrest in the United States.

AND what is more serious, more unlawful, than the total usurping of the Constitution?? But never mind…the Emperor-in-Chief waxed BIBLICAL: Obama quoted the Bible, saying that ‘Scripture tells us that we shall not oppress a stranger, for we know the heart of a stranger – we were strangers once, too’.

Hmm…well, well, even as he continuously strips America of its Christian and Judeo moorings!

Fournier: Obama Executive Action On Immigration Would Be 'A Nuclear Bomb'

    Daily Caller

As expected, Barack Obama’s abuse of executive power to decree amnesty for some five million illegal aliens did not go over well with the people who actually have the Constitutional authority to write such laws. The video statement released by House Speaker John Boehner shortly before Obama’s address used Obama’s old words against him: “Instead of working together to fix our broken immigration system, the president says he’s acting on his own. That’s just not how our democracy works… The president has said before that ‘he’s not king’ and he’s ‘not an emperor,’ but he’s sure acting like one. And he’s doing it a time when the American people want nothing more than for us to work together.”

Several other Republicans used Obama’s old language about kings and emperors in their denunciations, making one long for a media honest enough to remind its readers and viewers that Obama himself declared the action he just took to be dictatorial, over two dozen times over the course of his presidency, and his critics are merely borrowing his own words. Alas, we do not have such a media.
Boehner’s mood had not improved after the Emperor’s address: “By ignoring the will of the American people, President Obama has cemented his legacy of lawlessness and squandered what little credibility he had left. His ‘my way or the highway’ approach makes it harder to build the trust with the American people that is necessary to get things done on behalf of the country. Republicans are left with the serious responsibility of upholding our oath of office.”

Incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) also referred to Obama’s now-obsolete speeches, in remarks summarized by CNN:

“We’re considering a variety of options,” said McConnell, who will take over as Senate majority leader in the January when GOP-control of both houses of Congress begins. “But make no mistake. When the newly elected representatives of the people take their seats, they will act.”
Republicans are furious Obama is going around them and have already sternly warned doing so could wreck relations between the Capitol and the White House for the next two years.

“It seems to be about what a political party thinks makes good politics,” McConnell said. “It seems to be about what a President thinks would be good for his legacy. These are not the motivations that should be driving such sweeping action. And I think the President will come to regret the chapter history writes if he does move forward.”

In his speech, McConnell quoted Obama from last year saying he could not act unilaterally on the issue. Executive action was “was not an option” the President had said. And the “path to get this done” is “through the Congress.”

“Imposing his will unilaterally may seem tempting. It may serve him politically in the short term. But he know that it will make an already broken system even more broken,” McConnell said as his speech concluded. “And he knows that his is not how democracy is supposed to work. He told us so himself.”

It remains to be seen what sort of action the new Senate will take. It’s all well and good to denounce Obama’s offenses against the Constitution, but the despot’s calculation is that no one can, or will, do anything effective to stop him, and he’ll never have to answer to voters again Boehner, McConnell, and other congressional leaders are saying the right things, but they’re courting disaster if they don’t back up those words with deeds.

One excellent suggestion comes from DrewM at the Ace of Spades Blog: as an opening gesture of resistance, Congress could decline to invite the Emperor to give a State of the Union address. That is a job for presidents, and if Obama no longer wishes to be one, then he can round up his preferred audience of teenagers and non-citizens to hear him prattle about what a great job he’s doing. Unlike Obama’s power grab, scuttling the SOTU is entirely within the lawful powers of congressional leadership. They don’t have to stage a glitzy political event for Obama, and cancelling it would drive home the point that we are indeed sinking into a constitutional crisis. Plus, who outside of pundits and Beltway courtiers would really miss it? One less Obama speech would be viewed as a mercy by most of the public.

Another source of potential resistance comes from governors, who would have standing to sue the President for inflicting harm on their states. Both outgoing Texas Governor Rick Perry and his successor, Greg Abbott, have discussed the possibility of filing such a suit, as have Governors Mike Pence of Indiana and Scott Walker of Wisconsin. Not inconsequentially, Perry and Walker have obvious presidential ambitions, and Pence is said to be mulling a run as well. Given that executive gutting of duly-enacted immigration law is an unquestionable failure of the federal government’s responsibility to the states, and the states can show measurable harm inflicted by this dereliction of duty, such lawsuits seem plausible, if not guaranteed to succeed.

This guy went from the audacity of hope to the audacity of the power play,” Governor Walker said on the Laura Ingraham radio show Friday. “Two weeks after, in his own words, his policies were on the ballot and they were resoundingly defeated, instead of doing what any normal person would do which is to back off and figure out a way to work with the new Senate majority, newly grown House majority, instead he’s doubled down and gone the opposite way, and I think really put in place a legal crisis at a minimum, and a constitutional crisis in terms of the separation of powers.”

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio has already filed a suit against Obama’s amnesty orders, citing “increased release of criminal aliens back onto streets of Maricopa County, Arizona, and the rest of the nation.”

That’s no surprise to anyone familiar with Sheriff Arpaio’s history of battling the Administration over immigration, but it’s not just him. Sacramento, California Sheriff Scott Jones also uploaded a YouTube video this week, warning President Obama that his efforts to mangle the immigration system are making things tough for law enforcement… something Jones knows all too well, having recently lost one of his deputies to an illegal alien gunman with a long criminal history, including multiple deportations.

“The problem I have is I can’t tell which ones are good and which ones are evil, and neither can you,” Sheriff Jones told Obama. “By their very definition they are undocumented… Untracked, untraced and unaccounted for, there is no way to know which of the 12 million undocumented persons in this country are good or bad.” Jones said he supported comprehensive immigration reform, but not executive amnesty, which he said is “not reform, it’s simply giving up.”

    http://www.mrctv.org/videos/sheriff-makes-social-media-plea-obama-against-amnesty

The Media Research Center quotes several other sheriffs from around the country expressing similar resistance to amnesty. “In my opinion, based on what I’ve seen, every county in America will become a border county,” said Sheriff Chuck Jenkins of Maryland. “This is absolutely going to worsen the crisis. What we’re going to see is not only the cost to healthcare, social programs, and education, but the increase in criminals coming into our country, you’re going to see increases in crime, infiltration from transnational gangs, the drug trade and human tracking.”

Sheriff Tom Hodgson makes the chilling point that Obama’s amnesty plans will only make the pool of untraceable illegal aliens in the U.S. deeper, especially after the next wave of amnesty-seekers crosses the border, providing cover for dangerous criminals: “Every predator who is out to commit crimes is looking for the weakest link in our system. Having large illegal immigrant populations creates a safe haven for criminal activity. Criminals are becoming more emboldened.”

Republican Attorneys General also sound like they’re ready to put up a fight. It remains to be seen whether any Democrat Attorneys General take their oaths to defend the Constitution seriously, but the Republican Attorneys General Association released a statement signed by 19 sitting and newly-elected AGs, including RAGA chairwoman Pam Bondi of Florida, expressing their determination to “take whatever actions may be appropriate to uphold the rule of law”:

Along with many of our fellow Americans, Republican Attorneys General listened carefully to President Obama’s remarks about his intended, unilateral actions regarding immigration. We agree with the President, “people who live in this country should play by the rules.” The American people also believe the President should play by the rules and respect the rule of law. The President cannot ignore the American people, the states or an entire branch of government.

Our country’s unique strength derives from its history of immigration. The values of immigrants are the values of our Republican Party, those of freedom, optimism, self-reliance, family and respect for the rule of law. We want our immigration laws to be enforced and our borders to be secure. We also want our country to be welcoming to those who want to join us on this American journey in the manner established by our laws.

As our states’ lead attorneys, however, we are committed to the rule of law and ensuring that we remain a nation of laws, enacted as prescribed by our Constitution. Each president takes an oath to “faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and … to the best of [his] Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” We expect President Obama to fulfill this oath. As attorneys general we will uphold our constitutional oath to take whatever actions may be appropriate to uphold the rule of law.

If this becomes a strictly partisan affair, it would be wise for the voters of states with Democrat AGs to consider the wisdom of entrusting such responsibility to those who place politics and loyalty to a Party leader over their dedication to the rule of law. There will be a lot of fallout from this amnesty battle. It might very well include Democrats in law enforcement who have to explain why they stood silent in the face of executive actions that visited predictable lawlessness upon their states.

    Update:
Looks like we’ve got our first major crack in the partisan wall around Obama, as Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) issues a formal statement against the imperial decree:

Our immigration system is broken, and I support a comprehensive plan to fix it, but executive orders aren’t the way to do it. The system can only be truly fixed through legislation by Congress. The Senate’s comprehensive plan got overwhelming bipartisan approval, and Republicans in the U.S. House have sat on their hands for a year-and-a-half, refusing to even consider that bill. They should quit stalling, get to work, and do their jobs—debate the comprehensive plan that passed the Senate with a two-thirds margin.

I guess it would be asking too much for her to explain why Democrats didn’t do anything about this alleged crisis when they had total power in Washington for two years, but hey, at least she’s standing up for the rule of law. In this moment, that counts for something.

Deafening Silence after Obama Buddy & HRC Founder Charged with Rape of 15-Year-Old Boy - Freedom Outpost
    freedomoutpost.com

"It seems to me that in the gay community the people who should be running interference for NAM/BLA are the parents and friends of gays. Because if the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what 13-, 14-, and 15-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world."
    – Harry Hay, founder of the modern "gay rights" movement
None of it matters: Neither common sense, nor an abundance of victim testimony, peer-reviewed studies, nor their own loathsome admissions and actions. Nothing will move secular-"progressives" to acknowledge the undeniable interplay between homosexuality and childhood sexual abuse.
Whether it's boy-raping "gay" priests, or boy-raping "gay" activists, the problem is systemic. Homosexual predators are targeting our boys.
You listening, Boy Scouts of America?
So here we go again. Yet another high-profile "gay" activist has been arrested for homosexual assault on a child. This time authorities bagged a big fish (a rainbow trout?) in boy-loving real estate mogul Terrence Patrick Bean. Bean co-founded the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which is one of the world's largest, wealthiest and most powerful anti-Christian, pro-homosexual organizations. Bean is also a major bundler for the DNC and BFFs with Barack and Michelle Obama. He helped found HRC for the sole purpose of pushing the extremist homosexual political agenda. While, not surprisingly, HRC rushed to scrub its website of any reference to his existence, even now Bean remains on this extremist group's board of directors.
As reported in the Oregonian and a handful of other publications (don't expect widespread media coverage on this), 66-year-old Terry Bean and his 25-year-old twinkie boy toy, Kiah Loy Lawson, have been arrested and charged with felonies for allegedly sodomizing a 15-year-old boy.
"Bean has been one of the state's biggest Democratic donors and an influential figure in gay rights circles in the state," reports the Oregonian. "He helped found two major national political groups, the Human Rights Campaign and the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund, and has been a major contributor for several Democratic presidential candidates, including Barack Obama. He's also a close friend of former Gov. Barbara Roberts."
While speaking at a recent HRC event, President Obama noted his close friendship with Bean: "To my great friend and supporter, Terry Bean, co-founder of HRC," he gushed.
"Bean's Flickr account shows him talking with Obama at several events, posing with first lady Michelle Obama and numerous other political figures, including former President Bill Clinton."
Just two years ago, 68-year-old Larry Brinkin, another high-profile and similarly respected (at least among Democrats) homosexual activist, was arrested in San Francisco for possessing and distributing reams of child pornography.
CNS News reported at the time:
"Police said that Brinkin, a former city employee, apparently had photos of children, as young as 1 or 2 years old, performing sexual acts and being sodomized by adult men. …"
"Concerning Brinkin, Theresa Sparks, director of the Human Rights Commission, told the Huffington Post, 'It's almost incredulous, there's no way I could believe such a thing.'
"'He's always been one of my heroes, and he's the epitome of human rights activist,' she said. 'This is [the] man who coined phrases we use in our daily language. I support Larry 100 percent; hopefully it will all come out in the investigation.'"
Brinkin pleaded guilty to all charges.
Yep – these monsters are "heroes" to both the HRC and the larger "gay" activist community.
    Ever wonder why?
The cases of Bean and Brinkin follow a long-established pattern as old as the ancient Greek bathhouse. It's not just homosexual priestly predators on the prowl in the Catholic Church. From pedophile "LGBT" hero Harvey Milk, to high-profile "gay activists" like Duke University's Frank Lombard and USC's Walter Lee Williams, the homosexual lust for young flesh seems insatiable.
Of course, not every "gay" man, self-identified or otherwise, is a pedophile, but studies indicate demonstrably that homosexual assaults against boys occur at an alarmingly disproportionate rate when compared to heterosexual assaults. The very act of a man molesting a boy unquestionably involves both same-sex attraction and homosexual behavior (a "gay" by any other name …).
Consider, for instance, a study published in the left-leaning Archives of Sexual Behavior, of over 200 convicted pedophiles. It found that "86 percent of offenders against males described themselves as homosexual or bisexual." This demonstrates, as noted by Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council: "Since almost 30 percent of child sexual abuse is committed by homosexual or bisexual men (one-third male-on-male abuse times 86 percent identifying as homosexual or bisexual), but less than 3 percent of American men identify themselves as homosexual or bisexual, we can infer that homosexual or bisexual men are approximately 10 times more likely to molest children than heterosexual men."
But don't repeat these facts out loud or you might find yourself on the hard-left Southern Poverty Law Center's (SPLC) "hate group" smear list.
This homosexual abuse creates, at least in significant measure, a vicious cycle of abuse that has helped to populate the larger "LGBT" community. Again, the peer-reviewed research bears out this tragic reality.
Researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), for instance, found that "gay" men are "at least three times more likely to report CSA (childhood sexual abuse)."
The aforementioned Archives of Sexual Behavior likewise determined in a 2001 study that nearly half of all "gay"-identified men were molested by a homosexual pedophile: "46 percent of homosexual men and 22 percent of homosexual women reported having been molested by a person of the same gender. This contrasts to only 7 percent of heterosexual men and 1 percent of heterosexual women reporting having been molested by a person of the same gender."
Though citing these studies snaps "progressive" heads like Pop Rocks, the connection between homosexual abuse and "gay identity" is irrefutable. Perhaps this is why groups like Bean's HRC have worked so hard to ban therapy for minors who, as a result of being homosexually assaulted by "gay" men, begin to experience unwanted same-sex attraction and want to take necessary measures to diminish or heal these disordered impulses.
"How many more children will have to be molested before America realizes the damage being inflicted by HRC and other gay activists," asks former homosexual Christopher Doyle, president of the ex-gay rights group Voice of the Voiceless. "Instead of trying to keep sexually abused and confused children out of the counseling office, HRC and their allies need to take a hard look in the mirror at their tactics to secure 'equality' and stop using innocent, sexually confused children as pawns in their political agenda."
"It is outrageous and tragic that the founder of the largest gay activist organization in the world is molesting boys, while at the same time their leadership is pushing for laws across the United States to keep those same boys out of the counseling office to heal trauma at the hands of homosexual pedophiles."
    What say you, HRC?
    Chirp, chirp.

WORK PERMITS banned from his speech tonight but not from the Obama amnesty. DECEPTION?

    Updated:

In a 2,200-word speech, he didn't mention "work permits" or "work authorization" even once.
Pres. Obama's huge prime-time TV speech about his big fix of the "broken immigration system" somehow left out the fact that he would be rewarding millions of unlawfully present foreign citizens with three-year work permits to compete directly with struggling American workers.
He hid the most consequential part of his big immigration "deal" from the American people.
The President made it seem like the big change was that he was going to stop deporting illegal aliens who don't have a big felony record. But officials already have acknowledged that the average illegal alien has almost no chance of being deported, anyway.
He told us that if the illegal aliens stay here they have to pay taxes. But he forgot to say they would get work permits and be able to compete for any job in construction, manufacturing, service, programming or any other occupation. Or that they would get Social Security numbers to enable them to obtain all kinds of other documents that could embed them in America for life.
He indicated that Americans who oppose his immigration "deal" for around 5 million illegal aliens might be guilty of religious and racial prejudice, and probably of violating the admonitions of scripture. But he didn't tell the truth about his "deal." He didn't tell Americans about the work permits.
I suppose we should all congratulate ourselves that we have raised the job and wage competition issue to such a high level that the President and his advisors recognized that he did not dare tell Americans about the . . . shhhhhh . . . work permits.
So, forgive me for a little satisfaction that when the Associated Press sent out a group of reactions to the speech tonight, they included one from me that focused on the two most important words that were NOT in the speech -- WORK PERMITS!
President Obama's unconstitutional plan to reward millions of law-breaking foreign citizens with work permits is especially outrageous at a time of labor surplus and sustained wage depression for American workers and legal immigrants already here."-- Roy Beck, president of NumbersUSA, an immigration control group.
-- Associated Press, "Reaction to the President's Immigration Plan," Nov. 20, 2014
    IN HIS OWN WORDS
Let's take a look at the way the President tried to sell his executive immigration policies tonight. And I warn you that I'm not feeling generous.
Families who enter our country the right way and play by the rules watch others flout the rules. Business owners who offer their workers good wages and benefits see the competition exploit undocumented immigrants by paying them far less. All of us take offense to anyone who reaps the rewards of living in America without taking on the responsibilities of living in America. And undocumented immigrants who desperately want to embrace those responsibilities see little option but to remain in the shadows, or risk their families being torn apart.
The whole speech was like this. He would throw in some words and phrases that his pollsters told him tested well in focus groups. But then he didn't connect them to anything that really made any sense.
Yeah, we ARE offended by those who flout the rules. Wouldn't that mean we don't want to see the illegal migrants and the businesses that hire them be rewarded? The President then seemed to suggest that the illegal migrants who flout the rules should take responsibility for something. However, the responsibility is not for breaking the law but for some kind of "responsibilities of living in America." What is that supposed to mean? Later in the speech, he seems to suggest that the only problem with illegal immigration is that some of those illegal migrants haven't been paying taxes. Maybe that's the responsibility that makes you worthy of living in America regardless of how many laws you broke to do it.
Had the House of Representatives allowed that kind of a bill a simple yes-or-no vote, it would have passed with support from both parties, and today it would be the law. But for a year and a half now, Republican leaders in the House have refused to allow that simple vote.
The pro-amnesty groups have made this claim about the Senate's Gang of Eight amnesty the last two years. And, of course, we were always concerned about the danger of what might happen if there had been a vote. Hence, our constant and successful efforts to persuade Speaker Boehner to never bring the amnesty to the floor for a vote. But no news organization was ever able to find nearly enough House Republicans ready to vote for the Senate amnesty bill to reach 218 with the help of all Democrats.
Even as we are a nation of immigrants, we are also a nation of laws. Undocumented workers broke our immigration laws, and I believe that they must be held accountable
Throw in another focus group-tested phrase. I kept waiting for exactly how his "deal" would hold the illegal migrants "accountable." But he never really got back to it. The best I could figure out is that the President's tough love approach means that illegal migrants would have to start paying taxes and not be a bad criminal. Wait a minute, isn't that what is expected of all of us who did NOT "flout the law?"
Note to the rest of the world: Overstaying your tourist visa is OK as long as you pay taxes and aren't a bad criminal.
And let's be honest -- tracking down, rounding up, and deporting millions of people isn't realistic. Anyone who suggests otherwise isn't being straight with you. It's also not who we are as Americans. After all, most of these immigrants have been here a long time. They work hard, often in tough, low-paying jobs. They support their families. They worship at our churches.
Everybody in the world, are you paying attention? Our immigration laws don't really apply to you if you overstay your visitor visa, as long as you work hard, feed your family and go to church.
And, of course, we all know that the only alternative to Obama's plan is to have mass roundups and mass deportations. Thanks, Mr. President, for showing you are as good at false dichotomies as the pollsters for most of the mainstream media.
    HERE'S THE DEAL
Deep into the speech, we finally got what the President described as his "deal," although it began as a "thing:"
Now here's the thing: we expect people who live in this country to play by the rules. We expect that those who cut the line will not be unfairly rewarded. So we're going to offer the following deal: If you've been in America for more than five years; if you have children who are American citizens or legal residents; if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you're willing to pay your fair share of taxes -- you'll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily, without fear of deportation. You can come out of the shadows and get right with the law.
So, the President makes our ears feel warmed with the sound of justice when he says those who cut in line will not be unfairly rewarded. But then doesn't he immediately spell out a pretty amazing reward? Still, the focus groups apparently said to put that phrase into a sentence and American voters will be too stupid to notice that the deal you are describing is really just your giving a reward. If you've broken immigration laws or identity theft laws or employment laws for at least five years, you qualify for the deal. Oh, and you have to promise to pay taxes in the future. I guess that is quite a compromise if somebody was proposing that breaking immigration laws should qualify you to live in the United States and never have to pay taxes.
That's what this deal is. Now let's be clear about what it isn't. This deal does not apply to anyone who has come to this country recently. It does not apply to anyone who might come to America illegally in the future. It does not grant citizenship, or the right to stay here permanently, or offer the same benefits that citizens receive -- only Congress can do that. All we're saying is we're not going to deport you.
Uh, oh. This is awkward. ALL that you're saying?
"All we're saying is we're not going to deport you."
Wasn't this the place to say something more like, "All we're saying is we're not going to deport you, AND you get work permits to compete for nearly any U.S. job and you get Social Security numbers, and maybe a few other things, too."
Cue the music: "All we are saying, is give truth a chance."
Oh, but it got so much worse. For those of us who were sentient adults in the early 1970s, we know that when a President says, "I am not a criminal . . . or a king . . . or an emperor," you just know that somehow the English language is probably being twisted.
    1984
I know some of the critics of this action call it amnesty. Well, it's not. Amnesty is the immigration system we have today -- millions of people who live here without paying their taxes or playing by the rules, while politicians use the issue to scare people and whip up votes at election time.
Hmmmm, so the 5 million people who the President spent most of his speech lauding are people who have NOT been playing by the rules and -- apparently the worst offense of all -- not paying taxes. To not make them legal (and not give them work permits, although that was supposed to be a secret) would be to give them amnesty, don't you see? But the President is going to make them pay for their rule-breaking by . . . well, by paying taxes. But only future taxes and not any back taxes.
Again, we should all pat ourselves on the back. Through the years, we have been so successful in helping the American people see the gross injustice of amnesty that the chief supporters of it have had to re-define it.
    Speaking of re-definitions:
What I'm describing is accountability -- a commonsense, middle ground approach: If you meet the criteria, you can come out of the shadows and get right with the law. If you're a criminal, you'll be deported. If you plan to enter the U.S. illegally, your chances of getting caught and sent back just went up.
I think he may be into re-defining "middle ground" as well as "accountability."
Since the President didn't happen to mention the millions of new work permits, it was easier for him to dismiss the economic concerns of ordinary Americans:
I know that some worry immigration will change the very fabric of who we are, or take our jobs, or stick it to middle-class families at a time when they already feel like they've gotten the raw end of the deal for over a decade. I hear these concerns. But that's not what these steps would do.
I heard almost no signal that our President believes that nations have immigration laws to protect the interests of its citizens. Nor did I hear that anybody other than a bad criminal doesn't deserve to live here, regardless of whether they are invited.
Are we a nation that tolerates the hypocrisy of a system where workers who pick our fruit and make our beds never have a chance to get right with the law? Or are we a nation that gives them a chance to make amends, take responsibility, and give their kids a better future?
Note to the rest of the world: Pay a drug cartel to smuggle you here. Or violate the promises you made in getting your visitor visa. All will be forgiven if you work in agriculture or the hospitality industry.
And finally we got the big emotional finish to the speech that summed up the Presidential speech writers' idea of what it means to be an American:
Scripture tells us that we shall not oppress a stranger, for we know the heart of a stranger -- we were strangers once, too. My fellow Americans, we are and always will be a nation of immigrants. We were strangers once, too. And whether our forebears were strangers who crossed the Atlantic, or the Pacific, or the Rio Grande, we are here only because this country welcomed them in, and taught them that to be an American is about something more than what we look like, or what our last names are, or how we worship. What makes us Americans is our shared commitment to an ideal -- that all of us are created equal, and all of us have the chance to make of our lives what we will. That's the country our parents and grandparents and generations before them built for us. That's the tradition we must uphold. That's the legacy we must leave for those who are yet to come.
According to the Rev. Obama, doing anything other than allowing illegal migrants to remain in a country (and giving them work permits, if you are in on the secret) would be oppressing them, I guess.
And, I'm trying to follow the logic of the focus group leaders and the speech writers: Because nearly all of us Americans have ancestors who were immigrants, we do not have the right to regulate the number of people who can immigrate in the future or to enforce the rules for those who disobey the rules. That would betray our heritage.
Apparently, Americans are the only people in the world who believe in equality and the chance to "make of our lives what we will." So, anybody in the world who believes in equality and wants to "do it myyyyyyyyy way" is by definition an American and ought to have the right to live here? After all, "THAT'S THE TRADITION WE MUST UPHOLD. THAT'S THE LEGACY WE MUST LEAVE FOR THOSE WHO ARE YET TO COME."
I sort of apologize for being so sarcastic. But I am so offended that the President and his team think we Americans are so stupid that they don't have to include any logic in this speech. I don't really believe that this President thinks we should have open borders. But I can't find anything in his speech that tells me what our immigration system is supposed to do or how it would work.
AND WHY DID THE PRESIDENT AND HIS TEAM THINK HE SHOULD GO TO SUCH GREAT LENGTHS TO CONCEAL THOSE TWO WORDS . . .
    WORK PERMITS

Democrats Warning: Obama could go to Prison

    Tim Brown 15 hours ago
    108 Comments

In a mass email put out by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee on Sunday, they warned that Barack Obama is in danger of impeachment and jail time. No, really, that's what they said, despite the fact that not one spineless Republican has written one article of impeachment.
Clearly the email is to simply drum up support for the Democrats. That isn't a surprise and the more the lawless are allowed to be in power, the greater their boldness.

What's amazing is that the email starts off by labeling the 2014 Congress as the "most obstructionist and dysfunctional Congress in history." Congress does include the Senate too, which was overseen by Democrats and, of course, the House was overseen by Republicans. There is no doubt that both were dysfunctional.

However, the email went on to state, "Despite the challenge of taking office in the midst of the worst financial crisis in 70 years (it's Bush's fault, and yet, we are still in that crisis and will continue to be until the Federal Reserve and unconstitutional spending are dealt with – OK the parenthesis is mine, not in the email), President Obama has achieved incredible progress for the United States."

What progress? Wait, let me see if I can find some progress. Oh, that's right, Barack Hussein Obama has:

This is progress in the eyes of Democrats. This is transformation in the eyes of Barack Hussein Obama. However, let's refer to them as what they really are: Socialists, Communists and Muslims (all Anti-American).

According to the email, "Republicans think this is their chance to destroy the president."

"They're threatening lawsuits, shutdowns, impeachment?" the email continued. "one [sic] Republican congressman even suggested President Obama be thrown in jail!"

The entire email was based on Barack Obama's unlawful address on immigration, in which he claimed the he would be providing amnesty (yes, I know he didn't like referring to it as amnesty and said it wasn't amnesty, but that's what it is) to millions of illegal aliens in the United States.

Joe Miller, a West Point graduate, decorated combat veteran from the first Gulf War, judge and 2010 Republican nominee for US Senate from Alaska, who provided the screenshot of the email, took to his blog and rightly wrote, "Given the fact that most Americans do not support Obama's power-grab, and even members of his own party disapprove, impeachment should be on the table."

However, the reality is that Republicans have absolutely no intention of dealing justly with Obama and Miller rightly points out, "Regrettably, it's not. Fresh out of overwhelming mid-term victories, the GOP is once again moving tepidly. Even on the issue that arguably provided their margin of success – Obamacare – leadership has stated that a vote on repeal will not even be held."

The Democrats are doing nothing but using Obama's lawlessness to fundraise for 2016. They aren't anticipating any actual teeth to be shown from Republicans.

Representative Mo Brooks (R-AL) told Slate.com that he believes Obama's actions could result in a felony worth five years in jail. However, as of the writing of this article, Obama has not followed through with any executive action, according to the White House website.

While I hold out hope that perhaps there might be some men that God would endow with great courage at this hour in American history, I realize that the judgment of God is upon us. While Miller points to a Jacksonian or Reagan revolution, I tend to view our future with a much more realistic vision. As such, I tend to believe that unless there is a real spiritual revolution in this country, one akin to what the Black Robed Regiment brought about in the 1700's or an armed revolution to bring criminals in Washington to justice, and as Jefferson stated in the Declaration of Independence, "throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security" we will, as Miller puts it, "continue our slide into the dustbin of history."

NYT on Hagel Resignation: White House Found Hagel Guilty of Not Portraying Islamic State as The JV Team

US MILITARY GREATNESS and Real American Heroes
    12 Comments

The problem is not Hagel, it’s Obama. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel handed in his resignation on Monday, the first cabinet-level casualty of the collapse of President Obama’s foreign policy failures.

It speaks volumes that the day Hagel resigns, a jihadi atttack on our military base at Fort Sam Houston was thwarted.

“NYT: White House Found Hagel Guilty of Not Portraying Islamic State as The JV Team,” Washington Free Beacon, November 24, 2014
On Monday, the New York Times conducted a scathing post-mortem of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel’s resignation, pointing out that Hagel’s feeble attempt to employ tough language against the Islamic State in August clashed with the Obama administration’s ‘JV team’ rhetoric from January:
He raised the ire of the White House in August as the administration was ramping up its strategy to fight the Islamic State, directly contradicting the president, who months before had likened the Sunni militant group to a junior varsity basketball squad. Mr. Hagel, facing reporters in his now-familiar role next to General Dempsey, called the Islamic State an “imminent threat to every interest we have,” adding, “This is beyond anything that we’ve seen.” White House officials later said they viewed those comments as unhelpful, although the administration still appears to be struggling to define just how large is the threat posed by the Islamic State.

For a man whose only foreign policy accomplishment was opposing the Iraq War (after he voted for it) while serving with Barack Obama on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Monday’s announcement of Hagel’s resignation came with little surprise.

The administration declared that “the next two years will require a different kind of focus.”

Hagel served as Defense Secretary during Obama’s infamous ‘JV’ comments, which he did not bother to contradict until IS reared its ugly head during the Summer of 2014 and became, in Hagel’s words, “beyond just a terrorist group.”

"The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government -- lest it come to dominate our lives and interests." --- Patrick Henry

A well regulated Militia, being NECESSARY to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall NOT be infringed. - - - Amendment II

    Obama In Heaven

When Obama died, George Washington met him at the Pearly Gates. He slapped him across the face and yelled, "How dare you try to destroy the Nation I helped conceive?

Patrick Henry approached, punched him in the nose and shouted, "You wanted to end our liberties but you failed."

James Madison followed, kicked him in the groin and said, "This is why I allowed our government to provide for the common defense!"

Thomas Jefferson was next, beat Obama with a long cane and snarled, "It was evil men like you who inspired me to write the Declaration of Independence ."

The beatings and thrashings continued as James Monroe and 66 other early Americans unleashed their anger on the radical, socialist, leader.

As Obama lay bleeding and in pain, an Angel appeared. Obama wept and said, "This is not what you promised me."

The Angel replied, "I told you there would be 72 VIRGINIANS waiting for you in Heaven. What did you think I said? You really need to listen when someone is trying to tell you something!"
