Obama's Titanic About to Hit Iceberg

I have a question. Since taking office, how many times has Barack Obama used the phrase "because of the eight years of George Bush"? Fifty? One hundred? One thousand? How many times has Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid used the same phrase? In trying to ram their socialist agenda down the throats of the American people, Obama and company relied on that phrase time after time after time. Their plan was to blame former President Bush for the terrible economy and use that blame to advance their tax and spend agenda. Of course, keeping taxes high, moving more control into the hands of the federal government, and massively increasing our debt is not the way to do things, and the American people know it. Come November, the Democrats will be in for a shock, because the economy is THE issue, and they and their reckless policies will be held accountable.

First, let's look into the minds of the American voters... something the Democrats clearly don't care about. According to a Rasmussen Reports poll, "Sixty-eight percent (68%) of U.S. voters prefer a smaller government with fewer services and lower taxes to a more active one that offers more services and higher taxes." Seems obvious, right? Seems logical, right? Apparently not to Barack Obama and the Democrats since their cure for the economy or just about anything else is to do the opposite of what the American people want. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ ... _best_days

Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans and 74% of voters not affiliated with either major party prefer a smaller government. Democrats are evenly divided.

Sixty-one percent (61%) of the Political Class like a more active government with more services and higher taxes. Eighty-two percent (82%) of Mainstream voters favor a smaller government with fewer services and lower taxes instead.

Unemployment is still sky high. Americans are hurting. Taxes on those people who actually hire people are set to go up. The debt is higher than ever. As noted in a story on CNSNews.com, "In the first 19 months of the Obama administration, the federal debt held by the public increased by $2.5260 trillion, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan." And the Democrats wonder why the American people are so upset? http://cnsnews.com/news/article/72404

Another Rasmussen Reports poll shows that all the rhetoric from Obama and the Dems -- all the "blame Bush" talk -- has worn off in a big way. The poll shows that "voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on all 10 of the important issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports." http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ ... _on_issues

Republicans lead Democrats 47% to 39% on the economy, which remains the most important issue to voters. Those numbers are nearly identical to those found in June. Republicans have held the advantage on the economy since May of last year.

But for the first time in months, Republicans now hold a slight edge on the issues of government ethics and corruption, 40% to 38%. Voters have been mostly undecided for the past several months on which party to trust more on this issue, but Democrats have held small leads since February. Still, more than one-in-five voters (22%) are still not sure which party to trust more on ethics issues.

And then there is the "generic congressional ballot" poll. This type of poll is one of the best indicators of how things will go on Election Day. It asks voters if they would rather vote for the Democrat or the Republican in their congressional election. The latest Rasmussen Reports poll has Republicans up 48% to 36%. As the poll results indicate, "this matches the largest advantage ever measured for the Republicans." http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ ... nal_ballot

Democrats are running from their healthcare vote. They are running from their massive spending record. They have always been running from the economy, but it is theirs now, and the best thing Republican candidates can do is make sure the economic anchor is tied to every Democrat candidate. They will sink. The Republicans need only offer up a basic blueprint of conservative, "people first" policies of lower taxes, lower spending, and more power to the people, and they will win.

The idea of the economic anchor strategy is already being used by Nevada Senate Republican candidate Sharron Angle. In a story in the Washington Post, Angle says, "Understand that Harry Reid was Senate majority leader in the Bush years. ... He's been responsible through several administrations. He's been voting on these policies that have really become the problem." Nevada suffers from an unemployment rate of 14.3 percent which is the worst in the nation. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/thefix ... is-re.html

Obama is scrambling to rescue his sinking ship. His latest "economic plan" is more of the same liberal garbage. Rather than cut taxes for PEOPLE, he offers to keep those taxes high (or make them higher), but offer "tax breaks" if businesses do what he wants them to do. At the same time, Obama wants to drive the country into even more debt. That is NOT a plan. Cut taxes, and let businesses hire and grow as they see fit.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid may think they are on the unsinkable Titanic, powered by the engines of a socialist agenda. However, they are about to meet an iceberg known as the American people, and we all know what happens from there.

Kickthemallout and keep doing it till they get it right....

They may get elected but, they can only keep it if talk isn't cheap and business as usual mentality is gone, this is not party affiliated it is "We the People" affiliated....

If the American Voter is smart they will watch from day one and let them all remember that they are working for US and no one else....This isn't the Repugnant Party over the Demoratic one the sooner these Politicians realize that the better we will all be.....

We all know who in our own States work for us and who doesn't that is the only guide we need, look at their voting record..this is just a small example..The tarp, the bailouts, healthcare, crap and traitor, agenda 21, financial reform etc etc etc....need I go on????
