A decade ago, New York City officials were so reluctant to give out food stamps, they made people register one day and return the next just to get an application. The welfare commissioner said the program caused dependency and the poor were “better offâ€NO AMNESTY
Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

People who are working should be paid enough TO EAT. The minimum wage seriously needs to go up in this country. The taxpayers are subsidizing employers who are too cheap to pay a living wage. They pocket the money they dont pay to workers while taxpayers make up the difference to the underpaid workers. So, in reality, welfare money is going straight to the pocket of CEO's who dont need it.
