Police responded to reports of shots being fired and a stabbing at the venue where the Colorado Motorcycle Expo was being held Saturday, the Denver Post reported.

At least two people have been shot and one has been stabbed at the Denver Coliseum, police spokesman Sonny Jackson told the paper.

At least nine people have been sent to area hospitals, according to Denver Health.

No further information was immediately available on the injuries or the identities of those injured.

One person was killed and “numerous” others injured after a multiple shootings at the Denver Coliseum, police confirmed early Saturday afternoon.

Shortly after 1 p.m. local time, Denver police tweeted that they were responding to “multiple shootings” and a stabbing at the arena, which is located at 4600 Humboldt St.

They confirmed one death, but did not provide a number of wounded. It was also known what conditions the patients were in.

Denver Health paramedics responded to the scene and transported nine people to area hospitals, according to a tweet from the organization.

No one was in custody in connection with the incident, according to KTLA sister station KDVR.

A motorcycle event was taking place where the shooting occurred, the Denver-area television station reported.
