Only in America

Recently, ACORN and other organizations like it protested the police doing their job. It was said that the police were manning checkpoints that stopped and apprehended illegal immigrants.

These were not illegal immigrants that were stopped for being here illegally, but stopped for some other crime. Only in this great country of ours would anyone even think of complaining of such things.

People who have committed crimes have to expect to have the police looking for them.

It is their jobs!

The fact that those in our country illegally are criminals seems to slip by some people.

Then there are those who complain of how deporting these illegal immigrants breaks up their families.

The price for crime is punishment, which usually means being taken from your loved ones.

Jails are full of such cases.

Illegals do not care about whose job they have taken, whose ID they happen to have stolen and are using, or whose lives they disrupt being here.

But it sure seems that they think they should not be punished for anything.

It is time that America either get serious about all crime and illegal immigration enforcement or we simply will not have a nation of laws. We either enforce all laws equally or we enforce no laws at all.

If you don't feel sorry for all the criminals being busted, you need to stop feeling sorry for illegals because they are being deported.

America's only requirement for entering our country is to do so properly.

Some people just do not understand this, or care.
