If Barack Forces Passage of Health Care “Reformâ€

Come to think of it, I believe that he, pelosi, and the others might realize that it's a very distinct possibility that they'll go down over this.

First, they make damned sure to include provisions saying that this thing can never be altered or done away with by any future potus, congress, etc. Then, we see an unprecendeted number of dems suddenly jumping ship or announcing plans to do so in short order. obama and others start making statements to the effect that this may well end their careers and they're fine with that. And lastly, as they countdown to the wire they are imploring others to sacrifice their careers for the sake of passage.

Aside from the fact that this is impending political suicide for the democratic party as a whole, it's really taking a tone that's unsettling......like something you'd expect to hear on the eve of some battle where it's known there's going to be relatively few survivors when it's over. Very bizarre..................

But I also don't think they care and that's even more unsettling because why would this be so important that, like obedient little revolutionaries, they'd be so willing to throw themselves on their own swords?
