Permit & Background Check Required For Guns, But Not To Kill Your Baby

Liberals argue that requiring permits, background checks and registration for guns is not an infringement on the 2nd Amendment. After all, we have other rights, like the right to travel in a car, and we’re required to get a driver’s license, car insurance policy and to register our vehicle with the state. So see? It’s no different.
The Bill of Rights aren’t absolute. And who in his right mind would be opposed to making sure guns don’t end up in the wrong hands? That’s all the permit, background check and registration is all about.

Health and Human Services had previously ruled that the morning after pill could only be accessed by prescription for girls under the age of 17. Otherwise, it could be sold over the counter.

But a federal judge in Brooklyn just ordered the FDA to allow complete access to the morning after pill without a prescription and regardless of age. So, under this ruling, a 10-year-old could access the pill over the counter just in case she had an accident. It’s only to protect the children:

“The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommended last year that oral contraceptives be sold over the counter without a prescription in an effort to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies in the United States. Opponents of prescription requirements say prescriptions can delay access to the drug.”
And we certainly wouldn’t want delayed access to an abortifacient drug. Someone’s life might be on the line.

Of course, liberals are going to retort that the morning-after pill is not an abortifacient drug. It’s an “emergency contraceptive.” It just prevents a pregnancy. So 8-year-olds, 12-year-olds or 18-year-olds are just trying to be responsible by not allowing themselves to have a baby.

But there are two mechanisms at play here. One of the things the drug does is delay a female’s ovulation, which would have a contraceptive effect. The other is preventing implantation of a fertilized egg by thinning the uterus lining. That is the abortifacient mechanism.

If life begins at conception, then a fertilized egg traveling through a fallopian tube before it reaches the uterus is a human life. And deliberately preventing that human life from implanting is murder.

The federal judge is ruling that girls of all ages should be allowed over-the-counter access to these abortifacient drugs, because the last thing we’d want is another baby to deal with.

Yet, we’re supposed to be perfectly fine with the government imposing background checks, age limits, ammo limits, permits, gun/magazine registration, etc. all to protect human life. To protect the children.
