A woman allegedly caught on Walmart surveillance video peeing on a bin of potatoes in the Pa. store’s produce section has turned herself in.WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh is reporting the suspect is Grace Brown. She turned herself in after learning she was was wanted by West Mifflin, Pa., police, the news station reports.
The Walmart store there contacted police after an unknown woman was seen by a store employee and caught on tape relieving herself atop a bin of potatoes in the produce section. West Mifflin police then released images of the woman from the store surveillance tape in hopes of identifying her, leading to the suspect’s move Tuesday to turn herself in.KDKA-TV is reporting she showed up at the West Mifflin police station with her attorney.The alleged crime raises the stakes in the latest trend of people tainting food in supermarkets. There was no immediate word on exact charges in the case.Meanwhile, all the tainted potatoes have been tossed, a Walmart manager has confirmed to TribLive in Pittsburgh.
