You can buy or scrounge pieces of large diameter pipe like they use for sewers,cap off the end with a down spout in one end and add a spigot toward the bottom.You can buy water storage containers at garden suppliers and sometimes at recyling places you can find big empty plastic barrels.
Have to check that out. I found rain barrels in garden catalogs but don't want to spend 200+ for something to catch water. Figure they did it for ions before me and they didn't have to make it such an expensive venture. Wouldn't even be all that bent with regular mosquitoes but we have a problem with all the disease bearing kinds and don't want to contribute with that madness.

Like the idea with the spigot....they had those on the rain barrels you could order but knew there had to be something with pressure.....your explination helps. Just trying to fit the pieces together with a mix of "common sense" and basic ignorance.
