Police escorts that took Judith Giuliani from New York to visit her parents in Hazleton in 2001 have become the topic of a New York news story.

According to the New York Daily News Saturday edition, in the fall of 2001, New York City police escorted then Judith Nathan to her native Hazleton on taxpayer money.
The officers got gas at an ExxonMobil station in town Oct. 20, 2001, and at another Hazleton gas station two months later, the Daily News reported.
In the story, aides to Rudy Giuliani said the expenses were legitimate and noted it was reported in 2001 that NYPD granted Judith full-time protection that year after she was the subject of an unspecified threat.
They also called the revelations a “cheap political hit.â€

I think her mother lived there for a long time. The article said her mother has moved.

It depends on her age but maybe she is in an assisted living situation now. We never know. I just can't get all worked up over this.
