Judge Pirro on Being Shouted Down on 'The View': A 'Microcosm' of the Hatred for President Trump

In her Opening Statement, Judge Jeanine Pirro said that her experience last week on ABC's "The View" exemplified the hatred toward President Trump.

"This isn't about me," Pirro said. "There is a bigger issue at play here. 'The View' was just a microcosm of what's going on in this country," she said.

The level of hatred toward President Trump is beyond anything seen in the history of the United States thus far, she added.

"Now, Donald Trump is the target of vitriol so palpable, it's simply frightening."

Pirro on Saturday said that she'd like to move on after she and "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg got in a heated exchange during Thursday's show.

She and Goldberg should agree to disagree, she added.

"To Whoopi, I accept that you and I have different versions of what happened on Thursday, both on and off the air, and that we have completely different takes on President Trump and the job he's doing."

Conversation among family, friends and acquaintances cannot happen in today's society, Pirro said, because political differences are tearing people apart.

"It's almost impossible to have a rational discussion that doesn't turn into a food fight," she said.

"Thinking you're right and not allowing debate is fascism," Pirro said, adding that while she was clear in her objections to former President Barack Obama's policies, she never rooted for the country to fail.

She said that those on the left who are threatening President Trump and attacking those who support him are tearing down America.

"Everyone has the right to speak. But when you cant even listen to what someone has to say because you despise the man who is president, you undermine not the president of the United States -- you undermine the United States."

They don't hate Trump personally because there's nothing to hate, except those who envy him or are jealous of him for some reason. He's gracious, hospitable, good-hearted, smart and trying to do his best to fix our country. So there's nothing to hate there, the envy thing aside.

What they hate are his policies, fixing our bad trade deals, fixing immigration, fixing wars, fixing the military, fixing veterans care, fixing health care, fixing taxes, all to create more good paying jobs, raise wages and benefits, make life more peaceful, prosperous, fair, secure and happier in the United States for all Americans. They hate him even more now because he's actually doing these things. There's still a lot of work to do, but my God, what he's already accomplished is unbelievable and but for McCain, the whole healthcare mess would already be resolved, too!

So, it's really sad to see so much negativity towards a President doing so many positive things for our country and people. It says far more about the people spewing it than the President. For the DemoQuacks, well, you expect it from them, because it's politics, but from the Republicans like Flake, McCain, Corker and a few others, it's a disgrace, it really is.
