Ron Paul polling very low
Ron Paul polling very low
by Dominus Noster
Ron Paul polling very lowWASHINGTON, D.C. -- Unconfirmed Sources has decided to conduct its own, scientific and independent poll to verify whether or not Ron Paul has any support. Using our crack team of Ivy League pollsters, we surveyed people from five different demographic groups.
We asked the following question:
Are you going to vote for Ron Paul in your state's primary/caucus?
Group 1, which consisted of 284 randomly-selected Bill O'Reilly fans, was decidedly against Ron Paul.
Yes - 0
No - 283
Maybe - 1
Group 2, which consisted of 3 randomly-selected Bill Kristol supporters, was decidedly against Ron Paul.
Yes - 0
No - 3
Maybe - 0
Group 3, which consisted of 47 randomly-selected supporters of the USA PATRIOT Act, was decidedly against Ron Paul.
Yes - 0
No - 47
Maybe - 0
Group 4, which consisted of 86 randomly-selected supporters of torture and enhanced interrogation techniques, was decidedly against Ron Paul.
Yes - 0
No - 86
Maybe - 0
Group 5, which consisted of 67 randomly-selected supporters of never-ending wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, was decidely against Ron Paul.
Yes - 0
No - 67
Maybe - 0
Our poll results indicate that Ron Paul has absolutely no support amongst the .1% of fringe, lunatics on the far neoconservative end of the political spectrum. If Ron Paul wishes to poll better amongst these people, his campaign will have to adopt a pro-insanity platform.

I think I'm a pretty normal guy...I pay my taxes, work at the Pentagon, married, have a townhouse, normal friends and relatives (at least most of them). I'm supporting Ron Paul to the end. I don't care if he doesn't win. It's his message that is important. In time, as people find out about it and embrace it, you'll see people at all levels of gov't running for office on a Ron Paul style platform. His ideas will eventually become more mainstream...even if it takes 20 or 30 years or more. Who cares. As long as we're going in the right direction. We can't afford these silly wars, big Federal govt, open borders, possible NAU, etc. Most of the other candidates don't care about these things (notice I said "most").

This poll is about as legitimate as a gnat on a rat's behind.

The reality is who can really WIN!
Doesn't matter how much you like Ron Paul or Duncan Hunter. If they can't win, & by the close of Super Tuesday that fact will be crystal clear. If they can't win by then, If they haven't gotten to at least the top 3 in a handful of the then 50% of the primaries, then voting for them is the same as voting for a democrat.
All that will result is we will have McCain or shuckabee.
That's what the reality is. Back who you wish for now, but by Super Teusday, you should have figured out who can really beat the dems.
