BUSTED: Some Of Lois Lerner’s Incriminating Emails Recovered

Lois Lerner won’t be able to “plead the 5th” if she continues to self-incriminate, and it probably won’t matter anyway. With the majority of Americans believing the IRS purposefully deleted incriminating emails regarding the targeting of Tea Party groups, pressure is on Congress to act.
Emails between Lerner and Maria Hooke, the Director of Business Systems Planning for Tax Exempt & Government Entities, and Nanette Downing, the Director of Exempt Organizations Examinations, have been recovered.
Lerner, who claims she “lost” her hard drive containing any copies of emails involving the issue, was actually concerned that someone could be saving said emails. She was particularly afraid that her messages could be traced, and wanted to make sure the IRS’ internal messaging system was set to make sure her emails couldn’t not be stored or recovered.

Lerner sent the following to Hooke:

Lerner responds, “perfect.”

Common sense tells us that someone with nothing to hide hides nothing. So, what does Lerner have to hide? Well, considering she said that it’s “perfect” that her messages couldn’t be recovered is evidence enough that she’s been less than truthful. Too bad her “perfect” plan was flawed.
