What is the path? "Follow the rules..." I have not heard "amnesty"...but if wrong point it out to me please.

This country has and always will support legal immigration...(not my choice but we are America...) But "equal justice" was what they came for. As Beck would say...It is the "social justice" that is killing us...they demand to be above the law.

We have not been obeying our laws and created this huge illegal mess and 12million (I think 20) undocumented people to contend with. If our laws are upheld...the illegal problem will come to a screeching halt. Personally...I think immigration permits should be stopped until the economy and American unemployment changes. These are the "reforms" needed. Not a new law to stop or prevent anyone from coming to America. We will never become a Berlin.

She also said it is silly to expect the US to round up 12 million people and deport them. I have to agree. That is why I support the Arizona law. It will slowly over time fix the problem that the Feds have ignored. We are seeing economic damage already from the exodus. Fine with me...I will live with it.

I came to Arizona in 1968 and it was a problem even then. This has been a horrible inaction by the government. Lou Dobbs said "the only rational actor...is the illegal..." I think he was right in that our government and the left has been stupid about this whole thing. I was sorry that Alipack had a falling out with Lou. When his wife was shot at...that changed him. We went soft. Well...that was his choice. I stopped listening to his show.

This will change slowly over time. But already...I see a change around where I live. The Food City stores are closing. The graffiti has stopped. The stores do not have as many immigrants shopping. I drove through a Mexican neighborhood and for rent signs are everywhere. We are making a change. And it is the change that GB, Sarah, Lou and many others have said was needed. Enforce the current laws. That is all we have done so far in Arizona and it will keep working as long as the Feds don't trump us with Federal AmNasty.

NOOOOO...to AmNasty... And I think that the message is becoming clear to at least the Right...I don't think the left will ever care for anything but social and political self agenda. Hell even Jose McNasty McCain is coming around now...RINO!

I understand and support your position. I hope you keep it up. Keep up the pressure. But when you see that your pressure is working...at least be humble enough to allow people to come to your side and to respect them if they have seen the error of their ways...I DID! Lou Dobbs...I am afraid he is a lost cause. Sarah...I think she will come around... Glenn...he has been on the side of law and the Constitution all along. McCain...forget it! IMHO

Everyone knows that "A path to Citizenship" is a fancy name for amnesty.
That is why ALIPAC opposes McCain. He supports the same amnesty plan as Palin.
If you don't know that, you haven't been paying attention here at ALIPAC.

I am trying to respect your posting numbers possiton but you are making it very hard to.

I understand that when confronted with real truth and honesty you may have a problem but there is no reason to be rude.

No one has a "path to citizenship" plan or agenda formulated yet that I know of... Nor has anyone endorsed this yet to be made plan. Yes there are many statements floating around about it but they are only OPINIONS...like yours. Baseless impassioned statements of fear.

I am in fear also. I fear that this country may buckle under the "social justice" that is being pervade by our socialist government.

But this "path to citizenship" statement...where ever it started...has never been defined by anyone anywhere... I have heard that the "path" is to go back to the beginning and start from scratch...how is that amNasty?

How you decided it means amNasty and absolutely nothing else I do not comprehend or understand sense there is no program called the "path to citizenship plan..."

Also...Sarah supports the new Arizona law completely and is out spoken about it calling for a national support "BUYcott" of Arizona to purchase goods, services and vacation destinations from us. That don't sound like AmNasty to me!

The fair and sound policy is to give those who are here illegally the opportunity to correct their status by returning to their country of origin and getting in line with everyone else. If that is your true feeling that I am only interested in an argument...I am sorry. Arguments are not my intention. An intelligent exchange of thought, knowledge and wisdom is my real goal.
