    California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and several advisers a few months ago discussed whether he should follow the move of his friend Michael Bloomberg, the New York City mayor who left the Republican Party to become an independent.

    But in the end, Schwarzenegger and crew decided that Californians already saw him as independent of the GOP, and there would be no point in a switch, according to Schwarzenegger biographer Joe Mathews, author of “The People’s Machine: Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Rise of Blockbuster Democracy.â€

    No matter what party he chooses he will allways be an out of touch hollywooder.

    We were better off when he was making lousy movies and paying into the system. Now we pay him and all he produces is lousy government. The man is not rational. He should not hold high public office.

    I don't even recognize this man anymore. Sometimes I save front pages of newspapers. Just a few days ago I ran across one where he was elected and sworn in. The reasons he was voted in are long gone. Ought to scan the paper and remind him what he once said. Now who's the girlie man?
