THANKSGIVING NIGHT SALE BRINGS VIOLENCE TO THREE WALMARTS

by JOHN NOLTE 29 Nov 2013, 8:26 AM PDT 273 POST A COMMENT

As a believer in capitalism and liberty, I understand Walmart's desire to squeeze as much money out of the Christmas shopping season as possible. But if we don't want to invite government control, we have to be able to police ourselves, and Walmart just isn't doing that. Opening on Thanksgiving night is not only a cruel thing to do to your employees, it brings out a tired crowd -- many of whom have probably had too much to drink -- and that only increases the likelihood of this:At least three people got into a fight in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in Rialto, Calif., because shoppers were cutting in line, Sgt. Nicholas Borchard told NBC Southern California. Two were taken into custody after the fight at around 7 p.m. local time (10 p.m. ET), he added. A police officer suffered a minor unknown injury.
A man in Claypool Hill, West Virginia, was slashed to the bone with a knife after threatening another man with a gun in an argument over a Wal-Mart parking spot, Tazewell County Sheriff Brian Hieatt told NBC station WVVA. Both faced charges after the incident that happened at 6:30 p.m. the station reported. …
Another shopper was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer after getting into an argument with a New Jersey Wal-Mart store manager about a television set, police told NBC New York. Officers arrived at the scene at 6:39 p.m. and once they had pacified the customer they also charged the shopper with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, Garfield police told the station.
Three different stores, three different acts of violence, all happening Thanksgiving night.
What does Walmart expect after dark when bad guys know people will be hauling expensive goodies to their cars? Maybe Walmart is comfortable with this because they back ObamaCare. People might get hurt, but at least they are insured!
Though it is mostly unfair, especially when it comes to wages, Walmart already has a public relations problem with the media. Waiting a mere 12 hours to open up early on the morning after Thanksgiving might knock a tenth of a point off the bottom line, but you can’t really put a price on goodwill from the public or your employees.

BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPER SHOT FOR TV

by BREITBART NEWS 29 Nov 2013, 8:27 AM PDT 53 POST A COMMENT

A Las Vegas man walking to his apartment carrying a big-screen TV that he just purchased was shot at, causing him to drop it.

The shooter picked up the television and brought it to a get-away vehicle driven by a 2nd suspect. Not giving up, the victim came up to the vehicle and tried to take back the television. Unfortunately, this incited the first suspect to unload several more shots, wounding the man in the leg.
Sunrise Trauma treated the injuries and said they were not life threatening. The case is being investigated by Las Vegas Metro Police.

Worker dies at Long Island Wal-Mart after being trampled in Black Friday stampede

BY JOE GOULD , CLARE TRAPASSO AND RICH SCHAPIRO / DAILY NEWS WRITERS
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2008, 10:46 PM

FARRIELLA FOR NEWS

Police tape surrounds a Wal-Mart that was the scene of a deadly stampede.

AUGUSTINE FOR NEWS

This photo was taken moments before the Wal-Mart store opened.

A Wal-Mart worker died early Friday after an "out-of-control" mob of frenzied shoppers smashed through the Long Island store's front doors and trampled him, police said.
The Black Friday stampede plunged the Valley Stream outlet into chaos, knocking several employees to the ground and sending others scurrying atop vending machines to avoid the horde.
When the madness ended, 34-year-old Jdimytai Damour was dead and four shoppers, including a woman eight months pregnant, were injured.

"He was bum-rushed by 200 people," said Wal-Mart worker Jimmy Overby, 43.
"They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me.

"They took me down, too ... I didn't know if I was going to live through it. I literally had to fight people off my back," Overby said.
Damour, a temporary maintenance worker from Jamaica, Queens, was gasping for air as shoppers continued to surge into the store after its 5 a.m. opening, witnesses said.
Even officers who arrived to perform CPR on the trampled worker were stepped on by wild-eyed shoppers streaming inside, a cop at the scene said.
"They pushed him down and walked all over him," Damour's sobbing sister, Danielle, 41, said. "How could these people do that?
"He was such a young man with a good heart, full of life. He didn't deserve that."

Damour's sister said doctors told the family he died of a heart attack.
His cousin, Ernst Damour, called the circumstances "completely unacceptable."
"His body was a stepping bag with so much disregard for human life," Ernst Damour, 37, said. "There has to be some accountability."
Roughly 2,000 people gathered outside the Wal-Mart's doors in the predawn darkness.
Chanting "push the doors in," the crowd pressed against the glass as the clock ticked down to the 5 a.m. opening.

Sensing catastrophe, nervous employees formed a human chain inside the entrance to slow down the mass of shoppers.
It didn't work.
The mob barreled in and overwhelmed workers.
"They were jumping over the barricades and breaking down the door," said Pat Alexander, 53, of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. "Everyone was screaming. You just had to keep walking on your toes to keep from falling over."
After the throng toppled Damour, his fellow employees had to fight through the crowd to help him, police said.

Witness Kimberly Cribbs said shoppers acted like "savages."
"When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling, 'I've been on line since Friday morning!'" Cribbs said. "They kept shopping."
When paramedics arrived, Damour's condition was grave.
"They were pumping his chest, trying to bring him back, and there was nothing," said Dennis Smokes, 36, a Wal-Mart worker.
Damour was taken to Franklin Hospital and pronounced dead at 6:03 a.m.

Hank Mullany, president of Wal-Mart's northeast division, said the company took extraordinary safety precautions.
"We expected a large crowd this morning and added additional internal security, additional third-party security, additional store associates and we worked closely with the Nassau County police," he said in a statement.
"We also erected barricades. Despite all of our precautions, this unfortunate event occurred."
The 28-year-old pregnant woman and three other shoppers were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries, police said.
In a news conference after the incident, Nassau County police spokesman Lt. Michael Fleming described the crowd as "out of control" and the scene as "utter chaos." He said Wal-Mart did not have enough security onhand.
Fleming said criminal charges were possible but that it would be difficult to identify individual shoppers in surveillance videos.
Items on sale at the Wal-Mart store included a $798 Samsung 50-inch Plasma HDTV, a Bissel Compact Upright Vacuum for $28 and Men's Wrangler Tough Jeans for $8.
The Long Island store reopened at 1 p.m. and was packed within minutes.
"I look at these people's faces and I keep thinking one of them could have stepped on him," said one employee. "How could you take a man's life to save $20 on a TV?"

Walmart Ejects Customer For Filming Violent ‘Black Thursday’ Mobs

Videos confirm zombie plague sweeping America

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
November 29, 2013

Walmart was less concerned about the screaming mobs fighting over TVs during yesterday’s “Black Thursday” horror show and more worried about ejecting people for filming the carnage.

“I went to the Walmart in my parent’s town on Thanksgiving around 8pm,” writes the YouTube user who recorded the video above. “I was driving back to the hotel and I saw it PACKED! Therefore I went in, and expected to interview people about why they are there. Instead I saw this, videoed it, and was promptly kicked out of the store.”
The video shows dozens of people squabbling over televisions, with one man throwing another to the ground as a woman screams, “Oh my God!” Police stand nearby but do nothing to stop the melee.
Apparently, Walmart’s policy is not to train their staff to try to prevent mini-riots from breaking out, but to train them to target the people who film such scenes. Whether this is a deliberate effort to censor bad PR is unknown, but the video above already has hundreds of thousands of views and is likely to have millions by the end of the day.
But it wasn’t just Walmart that had apparently told their staff to censor people filming “Black Thursday” carnage, the video below, shot in an unknown location, shows an employee frantically yelling “stop now!” to someone who was filming a police arrest of a women who got into a fight with another customer over a TV.

The video is chilling because the woman appears to behave like an actual zombie even as the cops aggressively restrain her on the floor, desperately clinging onto the television she has just seized from another woman.

Reports from across the country confirmed that a zombie epidemic had once again gripped America, as Twitter was ablaze with stories of crazy lunatics going on violent rampages simply to secure electronic goods made by slaves in China which they cannot afford and don’t really need.

Social critic Mark Dice bravely ventured near crowds of consumer zombies in a desperate attempt to make them understand that they were ruining Thanksgiving.

Watch more videos of the zombie plague below.
