Never Take Life for Granted: Two College Students Take a Little Time to Better a Homeless Man’s Life

In this video, two Saint Louis University students come across a homeless man and treat him to a meal, haircut and new clothes. They are visibly touched by his story and his appreciation of their generosity.
This story is also an example of the cultural differences that sometimes become evident in these types of situations. (For example, flipping off the camera is considered inappropriate by many people.)
However, these students didn’t judge the homeless man’s background or mannerisms; they were simply there to help in any way they could. They showed compassion, and they treated him with respect.
As small as these acts of kindness may seem, they can add up to make a big difference. After all, if each of us reached out to just one stranger, the world would be a better place for everybody.
