    He was a democrat anyway. I was hoping he would retire. But no such luck.

    Specter was on tv tonight and he actually admitted one reason he changed parties is he knew he would not win as a republican in 2010 but thinks he may have a chance as a democrat.He said 200,000 PA. voters registered as Dems this year.

    I don't think either party wants him either but Obama did say he would personally campaign for him.

    Well, this PA resident was a registered Democrat until last year. I switched to GOP. Now I want to switch back just so I can vote against Specter in the Dem primary! Pat Toomey is running as a GOP candidate (and currently holds the most favor for winning the primary).
