    Stimulus Hides Socialized Healthcare Plan

    Stimulus Hides Socialized Healthcare Plan

    Tuesday, February 10, 2009 12:56 PM

    By: David A. Patten

Key healthcare provisions buried in the bowels of President Obama’s stimulus plan will set America on the road to socialized medicine, involve the government in your choice of a doctor, and will inevitably trigger another funding crisis that will be used to justify still greater federal intervention in America’s healthcare industry, experts tell Newsmax.

Among the most controversial parts of the bill are new federal guidelines that will require government to decide if a patient should get medical care – not your doctor.

Ironically, the stimulus bill that will cost over $1 trillion will lay the groundwork for a massive healthcare funding crisis in the future, according to senior healthcare fellow Dennis G. Smith of the Heritage Foundation.

Smith says the bill’s plan to provide billions of dollars for states to bring unemployed workers onto the Medicaid rolls will eventually lead to huge budget shortfalls when the federal spigot shuts off.

Already submitted to Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck and Neil Cavuto. This in essence gives the "Health Czar" the role of God to ultimately decide who who lives and dies including my senior citizen parents like myself who are retired military. What's next....deny lifesaving care to anyone who opposes this administration's policies and those who don't measure up to any standards of physical perfection or any other criteria imposed by government? Socialist imposed eugenics is just around the corner....I hope the millions of ignorant, empty headed and naive Obamatons are happy with the "change" they endorsed especially when they are denied health care because they are too old while illegal aliens are afforded the care they need to continue the cheap labor and open borders agenda.

Glenn Beck did discuss this on his show today.

This healthcare provision should be it's own bill, open for discussion by the medical community, etc, but then a lot of what's in this so called stimulus package should be that way.

The more we learn the scarier it gets.

What no one seems to address is why the cost of healthcare continue to rise with no end in site. If anyone needs free pens, go to the doctor's office and get a load of them, freebies from drug companies promoting drugs that will only help if you are diabetic with a heart disease and get the ebola virus. And all the TV commercials for drugs improving sexual performance, allergies, depression, etc. are not free. No wonder my one prescription has gone from $86 a month to $125.
A visit to the GP at the clinic, for usually less than five minutes of time, has gone from $189 to $242 in the last two years. Why? Can anyone unemployed afford the meds, doctor's visit and the lab test costs if they have no insurance? It is really breaking down to food or meds, so pick.
