Black Lives Matter protests Heather Mac Donald's talk at Claremont McKenna College on April 6th, 2017. All entrances/exits were blocked by protesters. Those interested in hearing the lecture were not allowed in. (Usually these lectures are open to the public.) The event organizers moved the podium out of the view of the venue's windows, and Mac Donald delivered her talk early via livestream to a largely empty room. Protesters are seen shouting at the windows attempting to drown out Mac Donald's talk at (0:21). A member of the conservative newspaper on campus, the Claremont Independent, is blocked by protesters at (2:09).




Heather Mac Donald is a Fellow at the Manhattan Institute. She has written extensively on higher education, immigration, policing, homelessness and homeless advocacy, criminal-justice reform, and race relations. Mac Donald's newest book, The War on Cops (2016), warns that raced-based attacks on the criminal-justice system, from the White House on down, are eroding the authority of law and putting lives at risk.

Clairemont College Safe Space Racism

Students at Claremont McKenna College in California who are demanding a racially segregated “safe space” for “marginalized identities,” silenced and embarrassed an Asian woman when she described how she had been racially harassed by an African-American man.

The incident occurred yesterday during a protest against, “a lack of support from the Claremont McKenna College administration for students of color and others with marginalized identities.”

After numerous other students spoke about nebulous examples of racial discrimination, while refusing to allow white people to speak or (initially) use the megaphone, an Asian woman stepped forward to relate how she was an actual victim of racism.

The woman describes how she was walking down the street with three other Asian friends when a car pulled up and an African-American man shouted “go back to your home”. A “white lady” then parked her car near the young women to check if they were OK.

The woman says she was “shocked” and “scared” for her safety, before stating, “The point I’m making here is we should not distinguish people by their race or gender or anything – black people can be racist.”

The woman is immediately approached by a black female student who tries to stop the Asian woman from talking.

“Racism is prejudice with power,” yells another student, invoking the debunked progressive narrative that it’s impossible for black people to be racist.

Other students then claim what the woman is saying is irrelevant, while another student takes the megaphone from her.

The conversation continues off camera, with students arguing about whether or not black people can be racist.

The exchange is damning because it illustrates how the “safe space” students don’t really care about racism, they only care about race baiting and exploiting identity politics in order to obtain power via mob intimidation.

See, what's going on here is not American. It's foreign. These are students from other countries who start civil wars, who over-throw their governments usually at someone else's expense, who refuse to respect the rights of others or their own laws, these are infiltrators. They don't understand free speech, they think erroneously, free speech is their free speech and theirs alone. They think that their rights are their rights alone, and not the rights of others as well.

These are bad influences in our country and they need to be deported, removed, to every extent possible. These are wild-eyed self-centered bullies from other countries. Americans don't act that way, we never have.

The greed of our universities and colleges has surpassed their ability to manage the monster they've created.
