But they do disagree on some issues. Everyone does not agree on what "fighting it all" means. And they dont all agree on the same approach either.

    Really???

Forgive me for saying so but I don't see it that way at all. Isn't that a little like saying although you LOVE ice cream you'd go without eating ice cream because all a diner serves is that striped strawberry/chocolate/vanilla variety?

I guess you'll just have to hunker down and live with whatever comes your way then.
It means I would go to a ice cream parlor that served the kind of ice cream I like. Diners serve everything, so they are not that great at anything because they dont specialize in anything. If I want steak I go to a steak house. If I want ribs I go to a rib house. You have just clarified my point. Loving ice cream does not mean you love every single flavor.

redpony - there are differences in perhaps how people will attack the "solutions" - but not in the problem - if you don't believe me then read this:

Many of President Obama’s critics argue that he and Democratic congressional leaders are out of touch with America. That judgment is both too harsh and too kind.

It’s too harsh because President Obama congressional Democrats are already reacting to the Tea Partyers’ rebellion against his massive increases in government spending.

It’s too kind because the president, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are undeterred. They will do whatever is necessary to convince voters that their relentless pursuit of their hyperliberal agenda will reduce the deficit in the hope that voters won’t stop them until it is too late.

Back in May, Obama’s administration was projecting a deficit of $7.1 trillion for the years 2010-2019 on top of the $1.8 trillion deficit in 2009. Those projections would result in a 2019 deficit that amounted to 82% of the GDP.

At that level, America would be a bad credit risk, and the deficit would either result in huge tax increases or an America that would, simply, be bankrupt.

Even during the 2008 campaign, Mr. Obama promised to reduce the federal deficit. But his tsunami of deficit spending – in the failed “stimulusâ€

I agree. That is exactly what I am saying. The problem is the problem. But not everyone is going to agree on the approach to fixing the problem. Also they may not all agree on how bad the problem is. So therefore it may become more of a priority for some...and less for others. And when you have a whole list of problems....which we do.....then the chances on everyone agreeing on how to prioritize the problems, and the best approach to fixing the problems, is smaller. The longer the list gets, the less chance that everyone will agree. Time gets wasted just trying to agree on on the issues instead of hammering out solutions.

I think people are comming to realize the solution is the tea party's by taking a stand together, there is power in numbers, solving the problems come after they (congress) realizes we the people have had enough, and they better do the right thing for we the people.

You can not get millions of people to agree on solving the problems, that is why we have a government and why the Majority here rules or has in the past centurys ...our problem is getting congress to do the right thing for we the people and our country, when they start doing the right thing, they will know it because we will stop protesting.

The main problem is they are not listening to the people!

Right now we are fighting for our lives - fighting against the huge debt and taxes that now even Saturday Night Live is making fun of!

BUT "tea parties" across the country that bring to light of day - that the huge debt and taxes are part of Cap and Trade, Health Care, take over of car companies, .....are getting huge parts of the population to come together against one cause - huge government, huge tax burdens, huge debt.

So the Dem's / liberals/ socialists/marxists/communists/ got together to spread the news that the "tea parties" are fighting amongst themselves and "breaking up".

If they break us up and divide us into a group just for health care vs the group for Cap and Tax vs the group against car company take over..... then they win- because the crowds are small and the voice easily over run. They go on the air and say look at that tiny group - they send out SEIU and ACORN and their groups make the "tea party for just health care, or just Cap and Tax, look small.

I know I went to a Cap and Tax protest in front of Henry Waxmans speech at UCLA and there were 20 of us, vs hundreds of ACORN and SEUI members.

Many Tea Party members have great solutions to some of the problems, just like many of the Republican Congress and Senate. They don't care!
They don't want to hear them! They are using Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals to "marginalize" the Tea Party movement!

But if they don't care about what Republicans in Congress and the Senate have for "solutions" on Cap and Tax and Health care and Car companies then why "marginalize" Tea party members????? Why?????

    Because "Tea Parties" are:
    a. making sense
    b. getting larger
    c. reaching Independents
    d. effecting poll ratings
    e. effecting how people vote
BUT most important of all they are "Letting the sunshine in" to uncover all of the lies and manipultion by the Obama administration - they are doing what CNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC and CNN aren't doing.

One person talkes to another, one blog leads to another, one tea party member asks a friend who asks a friend and they talk and then one leads to another.

If you say that the tea party members who fight against the huge taxes in the health care bill - can not be part of the tea party members who fight against the huge taxes in the Cap & Tax bill, and the tea party members who fight against the huge taxes in the take over of the car companies and the stimulas bill - then you have basically helped them divide and conquer the tea party movement.

If you "buy into" their Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals propaganda - that Tea Party members are fighting and breaking apart then you give them exactly what they want - to further "marginalize" and demoralize" anyone who has taken the time out of their busy schedules to fight against high taxes and huge government in all of the Obama policies.

You are acting like the fight of the war is over and now we need to get to the exact details of the final policies.

But the Dem's still own the Congress, Senate and White House - and the war in not even close to being over and final policies with great ideas have been presented over and over and THEY DON'T CARE! THAT IS NOT THEIR END GAME!!!

I cant believe that you can't see that?

They divide us, they conquer us.

    There is power in numbers.

There are many different thoughts, all coming to a common cause.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with the concept of the tea parties. Not at all. I am saying that piggy-backing every single cause into one movement will weaken that movement.

True. The overall problem is that they are not listening. And they are not listening on many different issues. So in that respect, the tea parties can work....IF ....the numbers are high enough. Right now the numbers are high enough. But they wont stay that way if tea parties takes a particular position on every single issue. Because then some members will fall off due to disagreement on one issue or another. That is really what I am saying. If tea parties becomes a smorgasbord, it wont have the same strength.

I think as each issue comes to the forefront some will drop out but others will join in, the important thing is people are getting mad and involved...right now it is taxes, out of control government and the health care bill....but cap and trade and immigration are just as devastating for us and I think they will have the same impact on Americans who are tired of it all.....one step at a time is on our side wo we can gather the masses.

    Americans are waking up.
