    Tea Party Movement Loses Steam

Republican/Democrat same stuff different pile. If they can't get a platform, they don't want to play.

I am dissapointed in Fox News - I will probably turn them off for a couple of weeks and just use the internet for my information source.

    Tea Party Movement Loses Steam
Hundreds of Parties Scheduled, to Little Fanfare

While South Carolina’s political establishment wrestles with the fate of Gov. Mark Sanford (R-S.C.), Ron Parks has already moved on. He’s one of the organizers of a July 4 Tea Party in Charleston, a rally that will celebrate America and protest the way that President Barack Obama is governing it.

“We had 6,000 people show up at the last Tea Party in Charleston, on April 15, when [Gov.] Sanford spoke,â€

Heard tonight on the radio someone attended a Tea Party in Michigan, forget where, and said thousands were there but no media coverage was given. Who knows?.... but wouldn't surprise me if the media didn't cover it.

Was it not the news media that started the Tea Parties?

Perhaps they feel that they started this movement,(to blow off steam, allow the people to feel as though they are doing something) they can end it?

Do people trust the media? How far? Far enough to invite them to their party? I would not invite them to my house, and I would certainly not invite them to a party.

Why does grassroots and MSM have to walk hand in hand? What good could come of it? JMO

I don't believe the movement is losing steam, but the media seems to not only not want to cover it, they want to diminish it.
I am going to post some videos in the pictures worth a thousand words that I hope some folks will enjoy. I don't think Jeanine Garafalo will like them.

So the author writes this article claiming the Tea Parties are "losing steam" BEFORE they've even happened. He posted this at link source on July 3. I'm with you Miguelina, I think this is an example of wishful thinking, at least on the part of this author.

Something occurred to me regarding the lack of coverage on FOX. At the time of the first wave of Tea Parties in March and April, one of the accusations I heard from the detractors was the Tea Parties were just something promoted and sponsored by FOX. So maybe FOX figures its better for the movement if they don't appear to be promoting it for their own interests.

I'm not so naiive as to think even FOX makes decisions based totally on altruistic reasons, without consideration for their bottom line. They're not State TV, yet. But maybe they figure it might not increase their ratings enough to be worth labeling the Tea Parties as FOX Tea Parties.

I dunno, just a thought. Maybe I'm just hoping for a good explanation for their lack of coverage.

Who do you never or rarely ever hear from yet they are all around? No corruption, no scandals, no little old ladies getting ripped off of their life savings, political only in the dark corners, yet removed from sight? If it were a snake it would bite you.

    Madison Avenue.

All medias have expenses and payroll. TV, radio, magazines, newspapers. Our government wrestled over this decades ago concerning the new medias that were getting started at that time. Radio and TV. How would they earn expense? Subscription, advertising, or from public funds? Our congress went with the advertising model after much debate and lobbying. Now ofcourse we also have subscription medias were we pay for our poison.

If I was your source of income, where could I lead you?

    Hello informed.

If a corporation wishes to sell their product they advertise.

If a corporation or the government wants to move society from point "A" to point "B" then they advertise or use propaganda.

Time is distance traveled. T=D. Time is also money in politics and business.

Decide what it is you want to sell. If movement is required (if you must move popular opinion) then determine the distance required, then determine the amount of money it will cost (advertising, propaganda) then you can make a decision based upon costs vs gains.

So where does the 'right' or the 'left' fit in? Is it only the 'left' that has money to spend? Or only the 'right' that has money to spend? Do you care if your dollar came from a conservitive, or a liberal? Hows about a secular dollar?

Carbon Cap requires much movement of public opinion, therefor it has taken much money for advertising and propaganda and much time. (there must be a profit or motive or both)

    Euthanasia?

    Abortion?

    Illegal immigration?

    Gun control?

    Cashless society?

    Socialism?

    Communism?

You are what you eat. Your eyes and ears are the masicatory organs that feed your brain. What have you had to eat today? Are you force fed like the goose for his liver?

In a secular world, where do you end your quest for money?
