Army-Navy Game’s Stunning National Anthem Rendition Puts Every Kneeling NFL Player To Shame

Army and Navy met again Saturday afternoon on a snowy field in Philadelphia to play a football game that has been played for over 100 years.
The Army-Navy football game is one of the most storied sports traditions in the country.
This year marks the 118th time the two teams have met. The teams meet in a neutral city between their respective academies. They often play in NFL stadiums due to the enormous number of active duty and veteran fans who wish to attend.
Before the game, the choirs of the Annapolis and West Point academies joined together to sing the national anthem. It was a solemn moment and was made even more beautiful by the falling snow.












You can bet your ass that no one in this stadium was kneeling.

These are the young men and women who will risk their lives and financial futures to defend our country wherever they are called, whether it be from a jungle, a desert, a freezing mountain, a dangerous sea, a bloody fox hole, or the risky skies above.They will endure the fear, pain and loss of war ... for US.

They will do so without fanfare, glory, reward, thanks or appreciation from many Americans. Yes, most Americans will always honor them, but in quiet ways, with the most common being standing during our National Anthem, an act of honoring our troops that most of US have taken for granted and accepted as the simple norm of human decency expressed by a nation of citizens to those who risk their lives and often give them to protect us, our families, our businesses and our nation.

Our troops are the greatest yet most silent and anonymous heroes of our land of liberty, even though there is no more important or valuable job or task in this country than theirs.

There is no CEO, no Pastor, no Athlete, no Comedian, no Actor, no Newscaster, no Journalist, no Politician, no Bishop, no Pope, no Professor, no Teacher, no Activist, no Protester, no Lawyer, no Judge, no Doctor, no Organization, no Publication more important to our lives and nation than the lowest ranking member of the Armed Services of the United States.

Our Flag is soaked in their blood.

Our First Amendment is soaked in their blood.

Our 14th Amendment is soaked in their blood.

Honor Them.
