Thousands attend Tea Party rally at McClellan

In Sacramento, thousands of people rallied at McClellan Park off Watt Avenue urging supporters to take back the nation, saving it from high taxes and publicly-fund medical care.

Tea Party supporters called for the repeal of the Obama health care plan, support for conservative candidates and reduced taxes.

By noon, more than 5,000 people attended, many of carrying signs and wearing red, white and blue clothing.

Annah McCluskey of Sebastapol wore a straw hat with tea bags dangling from the brim.

"I think we can do better," she said of current administration policies.

This is good to hear. Every little bit helps. We need much much more of this kind of thing, and though it seems disheartening often, we must never stop fighting for the survival of America.

Never give up hope as hope is the anchor of the soul. Easier said than done sometimes, but just have to be a can do type person.
