I started calling my Senator Feinstein early this morning only to be told via recording that her DC office is closed on weekends and so to call the CA offices. I called the CA offices and was immediately forwarded to a message line that was full.

I then tried to call Susan Collins, Alan Specter and Olympic snowe's numbers as they are the reason this might pass. Again I was immediately forwarded to voice message and all lines were full and could not take any more messages.

Numbers USA put up on their web page that as of today, Sat Feb 7th, the E-Verify provision has been striped from the bill and so money for construction could provide jobs of up to 585,000 illegal aliens.

BUT Numbers USA did not put up on my bulletin board, more faxes to fax over todya. I called them and let them know that it is great that we can watch the debate on TV today, but it stinks that there is NO WAY to actually let our represenatives know what we think of this bill.

I then called Fox News (212-301-3000) and left a message on theri comment line (you hit #3 on the blurb on what to do).

I let them know that a. American Citizens trying to reach their representatives todya can not. b. E-verfiy is not in this bill and no one is rpeorting that because of this all of those $$$ for construction jobs could actually go to illegal aliens.

I asked Fox News (cable) to report on this ASAP - and please to make the connection so that it forces E-Verify back into the bill.

I also called all 4 of the CA offices for Senator Feinstein, and all 4 offices have voice message boxes that are full. If this is suppose to be a government "for the people, by the people" then why re they not taking our calls and messages?

I called Fox News again and tried to ask them to please ask the Senators why they are not taking our calls? BUT the Fox News viewer comment line is now full.

Does anyone here know if the money for ACORN, the group which got Obama elected by getting dead people to vote, is in the Senate’s version of the bill?


Seems to me the only thing this bill is designed to stimulate is the election campaign war chest for Obama and his Marxist pals in Congress!

Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) submitted an amendment which would have specifically prohibited ACORN from receiving any funds under the Stimulus Bill, but it was defeated.

On page 151 of this legislative pork-fest is one of the clandestine nuggets of social policy manipulation that are peppered throughout the bill. Section 9201 of the stimulus package establishes the "Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research." This body, which would be made up of federal bureaucrats will "coordinate the conduct or support of comparative effectiveness and related health services research."


Sounds benign enough, but the man behind the Coordinating Council, Health and Human Services Secretary-designate (and tax cheat) Tom Daschle, was kind enough to explain the goal of this organization.

It is to cut health care costs by preventing Americans from getting treatments that the government decides don't meet their standards for cost effectiveness. In his 2008 book on health care, he explained that such a council would, "lower overall spending by determining which medicines, treatments and procedures are most effective-and identifying those that do not justify their high price tags."

This bill is not about stimulating the economy, it’s about creating the framework for a national socialist government with Marxists in charge of that government!




The Obama rush to get his stimulus plan adopted, is intentionally designed to get it through without the people knowing what’s in the bill. The writing is on the wall!

I think it’s time for patriotic Americans to pay a visit to Washington with their sporting gear, as once suggested by Walter Williams.
