What is there in this article that makes you think the DOJ leaked anything? The information given to the Wall Street Journal could have came from a number of places.
No we don't need to disband the DOJ and FBI. Your idea about the DOJ relinquishing its responsibilities to the individual states would not work. Frequently states and the federal government have conflicting goals and motivations. I could just imagine California's Attorney General Xavier Becerra fighting to end California's sanctuary law. Yep, I'm sure he would be real dedicated to the cause.

Because, the story was released last night by Stormy Daniels lawyer, Michael Avenatti, on Anderson Cooper. He wouldn't say who it was, but the lawyers in DOJ that he's working with on the Cohen case told him (Avenatti) about it, there was another story about a GOP donor from LA who had an affair, the woman got pregnant, had an abortion and received payments from the donor under a non-disclosure agreement arranged by Cohen. Avenatti was claiming the donor paid her money to have the abortion as if it was his idea. Broidy today refutes that part of it as does the woman. There is no crime here, so why a DOJ lawyer even be talking about it or even know about it?? And why would they tell a Democratic operative information of any kind about someone else's personal business??!! So the big question is how did the DOJ lawyers even know about it? Well, the DOJ knew about it because they were spying on Cohen's emails, probably wired in to his phone calls too. I guess they were looking for emails between Cohen and Trump, but there weren't any. Trump doesn't use email.
So if DOJ was spying on Cohen were they spying on everyone who works for Trump or worked on his campaign??!! That's the only explanation.
Like I said, just let them keep driving themselves off the cliff. These Mueller, Rosenstein, DOJ lawyers, even the FBI higher-ups, they're all rotten to the core. This is unbelievable. The typical American will never trust any of these agencies or bureaus again, and rightly so.
As to my plan, you didn't read the whole thing or you didn't understand it. The resources would be shared and on federal related matters that for some reason the state doesn't want to pursue, the feds take the ball and use those resources to prosecute the federal cases.Last edited by Judy; 04-13-2018 at 06:55 PM.

That's what a leak is. That's why it's illegal for government officials to leak. That's why it's a felony when you get caught. These hacks have violated so many people's civil rights, I can't even count them all or keep track of them. The government is going to be sued by every single one of them, too. These are not stupid, little people they're messing with. They know they're rights like everyone else and all except for George have the resources to file those lawsuits and win. Taxpayers, voters and citizens deserve better than this, way more better.
