Arrest warrants issued for Edinburg Mayor Richard Molina and his wife

Edinburg Mayor Richard Molina and his wife Dalia Molina face new charges related to election fraud, according to court documents.

Hidalgo County court records show Molina and his wife have warrants for their arrest for engaging in organized election fraud and illegal voting in 2017.

Judge Luis Manuel Singleterry issued nine warrants for Molina and two for his wife on Thursday.

We are working to get additional information on the charges for the new arrest warrants.
