Posted: 10/24/2011 08:56:08 AM MDT
Early voting on 10 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution begins today and continues through Nov. 4. Election Day is Nov. 8.
Proposition 7 is particular to El Paso. It would give El Paso voters the chance to vote on a city-county taxing district, which in turn would allow the Legislature to authorize this district to issue bonds.
