That is really awful, I hope they can help him. Even here in this country, as open minded as we are about all sorts of medical conditions, this would be hard to live with, but in a thrid world country with the majority of people being highly uneducated, he is a total social outcast.

Yes it is. But not as an std only, it has many vectors of transmission. For some people it will simply stay dormant, for others it goes wild. This guy had some sort of compromised immune system and it went haywire.

There are over 100 different identified strains of HPV (Human papillomavirus) and each strain has different characteristics. Some strains prefer different tissue like the hands, feet, face, genitals, etc...

The strains (about 30 of them) that are problematic as STD's like that kind of tissue.

The HPV virus can cause errors in replication of DNA in normal cells and can cause cancer.

Scientist have identified strains 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, and 68 as the ones most likely to do this if exposed to the cervix.

Cancer is still a mystery to us, but we know certain types of leukemia are spread via viruses in animals. We may one day discover that a large portion of cancers are in fact caused by viruses.

The good news will be that we will stand a chance of creating vaccines for cancer.

Interesting William. Have you ever heard of the Huntsman Cancer Research Hospital. John Huntsman was on Glenn Beck a few months ago and they replayed that evening again a few weeks ago. It is an AMAZING facility. Each patient has their own doctor and researcher. They said that there are hundreds of types of cancer. A lot of their research is done with zebra fish. Amazing. They have four floors at the hospital that is nothing but research. I told my hubby, if I get it that's where I want to go.

John Huntsman is a remarkable man. He is a billionaire that said "I told my kids and grandkids I'll die broke so don't think there will be anything left." All of his work has gone into cancer research after his mother died in his arms when he was a young man. At that time he thought "this disease has to be cured."

Quite a different quality of character compared to George Soros.
