Considering how many new cars are rolled out every year, it's no surprise that a few might be just plain homely. There's a chance that certain styles might become fashionable with a dash of retro hip. (Well, maybe not from the 1970s.) But for the most part, the following cars will never be anything but design duds.

Some of those cars are plain ugly but some of them lasted a long time. I know someone who had the AMC Gremlin and had in mint condition for over 15 years.

The Dodge Viper had a face that only a mother could love.
I wouldn't mind having a VW Thing.
Currently own a Mid engine 914 which I am swapping out the engine to a Subaru WRX engine.
