Americans Killed by Cops Now Outnumber Americans Killed in Iraq War http://b4in.org/c5WP
The increase in police brutality in this country is a frightening reality.
In the last decade alone the number of people murdered by police has reached 5,000. The number of soldiers killed since the inception of the Iraq war, 4489.
What went wrong? In the 19070’s SWAT teams were estimated to be used just a few hundred times per year, now we are looking at over 40,000 military style “knock and announce” police raids a year.
The police presence in this country is being turned into a military with a clearly defined enemy, anyone who questions the establishment.
If we look at the most recent numbers of non-military US citizens killed by terrorism worldwide, that number is 17.
You have a better chance of being killed by a bee sting, or a home repair accident than you do a terrorist. And you are 29 times more likely to be murdered by a cop than a terrorist!

Dogs and Toddlers Breathe a Sigh of Relief as Over 400 Cops Call in Sick
RT.com
July 8, 2014
The Memphis, Tennessee Police Department is hemorrhaging officers as hundreds of cops continue to call in sick as part of a growing act of protest.
On Monday this week, MPD spokesperson Sgt. Karen Rudolph confirmed to the Knoxville News Sentinel that 472 officers were off of work that afternoon after claiming to be sick. One day earlier, Mayor A C Wharton said at a news conference that 308 officer had called out of work since the previous Monday, causing a noticeable strain on the department’s ability to patrol the streets. Now if the trend continues in this manner, the number of active cops on the MPD may be obliterated even further.
Over the weekend, Police Director Toney Armstrong acknowledged that the growing number of officers calling out of work was the result of an effort waged after the City Council voted recently to reduce health care subsidies for city employees. According to the Memphis Flyer, city officials approved those changes when they agreed to pass a new budget last month. Now ahead of aJuly 15 vote where changes to the city employee pension plan are expected to be approved, officers are striking en masse by using up their sick days to express their outrage.
Officer Mike Williams, the president of the local police union, told a MemphisCBS News affiliate recently that a potential strike seemed to be among the only options the cops had left to speak up.
“Sometimes there’s a ground swell and sometimes you can only kick a dog for so long before it bites you,” Williams said.
Speaking to Memphis Commercial Appeal, however, Williams explained that his union isn’t necessary endorsing the strike.
“This is not something that the MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) orchestrated or condoned,” he said. “I don’t necessarily agree with this because we were getting support from the citizens and smaller businesses in the community.”
Meanwhile, the toll of the ever increasing list of officers on sick-leave is all too apparent in Memphis, where law enforcement officials from neighboring towns have been forced to assist in recent days. According to Commercial Appeal, around 50 Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies assisted with law enforcement procedures on Saturday, when 181 members of the MPD called in sick.
“I would like to publicly thank the sheriff and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, as they always have, for being right there, our law enforcement brothers for being right there. They always have for us,” added Armstrong.
As of earlier this year in May, the total number of officers working for the MPD was just below 2,280. At the time, Armstrong said he needed at least 2,400 officers “to continue full services” for the city.

Corrupt and Racist Cops Caught Texting About Incentives to Beat People Down
The Free Thought Project
Matt AgoristJuly 9, 2014
Police Chief, Doug Jordan’s text messages show a disgusting level of racial slurs and incentive to harass and “take down” a local man.
The texts were given to Channel 2 Action News, in Coweta County, GA,which led to the department’s racist and corrupt practices being exposed.
According to Channel 2 News, the first set of texts started with, “OK. June Bug saw Henry and his wife at Dollar General, shot him the bird and yelled (expletive) U at him . So gloves off first officer to take him down gets a steak dinner” then, “(expletive) That drug pushing mother (expletive).” and finally, “We going to find that piece of (expletive).”
After finding out who ‘June Bug’ was, Leon Buchannan, Channel 2 showed him the texts.
“He threatened somebody’s life, like they making bets on me or something,” Buchannan said.
Buchannan did serve a year in prison on drug charges in 2008, but has been straight since getting out, “I changed my whole life, went to school, got my CDL,” Buchannan said.
“Are you a drug pusher?” Channel 2 investigative reporter Aaron Diamant asked.
“No, sir,” Buchannan said.
But the Buchannan’s innocence did not stop the man mentioned in the first text as “Henry, ” who is Grantville Police Officer Demetrius Henry, from descending quickly on Buchannan.
“He just jumped out the car, something like, ‘Didn’t I tell you don’t disrespect,’ and just started hitting and beating him in the car,” Buchannan’s cousin, April Heard said.
Buchannan was beat so badly that he ended up in the hospital. His family filed excessive force complaints against Henry, but of course, the internal “investigation” found no wrong doing.
Channel 2 News showed these texts and another set of texts, that were related to a news story on Officer Henry, to Mayor Jim Sells.
“Henry’s on the news.” The chief wrote back, “What’s that about?” then added “He probably beat the (expletive) out of some ‘n-word.’”
Sells quickly suspended Jordan, who resigned 2 days later. Henry also resigned shortly after the internal review cleared him of the force complaints.
No charges have been filed against Henry or Jordan.

No Charges for Cop Who Killed 13 Year Old Holding Toy Gun
The Free Thought Project
Cassandra Rules
July 9, 2014http://tftppull.freethoughtllc.netdn...4/07/andy2.jpgThe young boy was walking down the street carrying a partially translucent plastic airsoft BB gun that resembled a rifle when he was spotted by Deputy Gelhaus and his partner Michael Schemmel.
Sonoma County DA announced on Monday that they will not be filing charges against Deputy Erick Gelhaus who shot a child through the heart, then 6 more times after the first fatal round, on October 22, in Santa Rosa, CA.
Gelhaus ordered Lopez to drop his weapon, possibly confused because the orange tip on the toy was missing.
Lopez then began to turn towards the officer when the officer immediately opened fire, shooting to kill. Gelhaus told investigators that he could not remember if he identified himself as a police officer,
Seven bullets were fired at Andy Lopez within six seconds. The officer’s report claims that he shot Lopez after he turned towards him with the toy gun, despite bullet wounds in Lopez’s side (which supporters claim may indicate he was struck while turning).
The altercation lasted a total of 19 seconds from the call for backup to “shots fired”.
After the 8th grader was on the ground, having been shot repeatedly, the officers then handcuffed the child’s dead, lifeless body.
New information released yesterday indicates Lopez may have smoked weed in the hours before the incident, the report states that he would likely have had “impaired judgement, slowed decision making and increased mental processing time, particularly when having to deal with performance of sudden, unanticipated tasks, including decisions that require a quick response.”
Jonathan Melrod, attorney and extremely dedicated activist, said the decision was based on “patent lies.”
“The police feel that we, the community, are their enemy, they police us as though they are still in Iraq or Afghanistan.” he stated. He also said that using marijuana as an excuse is just a way to divert blame to the victim.
“Let’s assume there was THC. Does that justify executing Andy?” he demanded.
Gelhaus is ironically a firearms instructor, as well as a contributing writer to gun publications, despite having once accidentally shot himself in the leg in 1995 as he searched a teenager for weapons.
People gathered to protest the decision last night, and social media was full of cries of “You say justified- We say homicide!” and “Jailhouse for Gelhaus”.
Dozens of protests have been organized, mainly by other children who go by “Andy’s Youth”, and they have been passionate and intense. From crossing police lines to bravely face off with riot police, marching and storming city council with crosses representing police brutality victims, to shaming killer cops they run into along their marches… these kids have been truly inspiring.
A demonstration to protest the decision was scheduled at the “hall of injustice” for Tuesday at 1pm.
It has yet to be announced if Gelhaus will begin patrolling the streets once again. Lets hope he doesn’t.

“Let’s be real clear. You have the absolute right to stand on your front porch and record what’s going on in your front yard.”

Matt AgoristJuly 11, 2014
Two separate incidents within in 2 months in Petersburg, VA highlight the severity of police incompetence and lack of self control when dealing with people practicing their 1st Amendment rights.
With all the cases and videos online of police harassing people for filming and subsequently facing charges or lawsuits, or just looking like complete despots, one would think that cops would show some self restraint when being filmed in public.
However, the act of self restraint seems to be a rare commodity in Police land.
Just last month Petersburg police arrested a 19-year-old man, Devin Thomas, who’s only “crime” was holding police accountable through act of filming them.
Devin was recording a traffic stop when he claims he was assaulted by Petersburg Police, right outside of the Petersburg Police Department.
Now, this week, a cell phone video of another incident has surfaced.
Just two months prior to the Devin Thomas case, JaQuan Fisher was assaulted and charged for filming the police.
Fisher, 17, was on his own front porch when a Petersburg cop, unable to resist throwing a temper tantrum, rushed him for filming an arrest that was taking place in Fisher’s front yard.
After being assaulted by the officer, Fisher pushed back. As Fisher’s mother, Debra Fisher got involved, the altercation quickly escalated.
“They was trying to grab my son off the porch. I was trying to tell my boyfriend to open the door so we can get in the house,” Debra Fisher said. She is JaQuan’s mother and can be seen on the video wrestling with officers, according to NBC 12.
A second officer arrived during the struggle. There was an object in his hand. The family says he started spraying mace.
“They maced each other, too. He just started mace-ing everywhere,” Debra Fisher said.
A third officer came rushing in to the chaos and put Debra into a choke hold, nearly pulling her backward off the porch.
The over the rail choke hold by the third officer was particularly dangerous and could have ended much worse for JaQuan Fisher.
JaQuan Fisher was charged with two counts of felony assault on law enforcement. Eventually one of the counts was dropped and the other reduced to a misdemeanor. He pleaded guilty to that charge.
His mother didn’t have an attorney, and a judge found her guilty of obstructing justice.
The family is seeking legal council, and rightfully so, in order to appeal the convictions.
The lack of self-control exhibited by the police in these two incidents is disheartening to say the least.
The rage and anger within these officers was unable to be governed and led to senseless violence enacted against the innocent.
When citizens enact senseless violence against other citizens, this is called crime; when police officers enact the same violence against citizens, it is called tyranny.
Police will do well to quickly come to terms with the reality that more people begin filming them everyday.
The niche for legal recourse against tyrant cops whom cannot control themselves will quickly be filled by proactive attorneys seeking damages for their many clients.

In the latest development to the saga of police militarization in the United States, a Massachusetts police department has been found to have two M-79 grenade launchers. You may be asking yourself why local police would need these surplus military weapons, and the answer to that burning question is – drumroll, please – they don’t need them. The only use for these incredibly destructive weapons would be for the government to force innocent citizens into giving up their rights.
The Springfield, MA police department argues that they need the grenade launchers so that they can be prepared for any and all situations which may arise. However, it’s hard to believe that they would ever need to cause a large explosion. If such a thing was absolutely necessary, local police should not be the ones to carry it out.
The problem with police becoming more and more militarized is the fact that at the same time, the government is trying to take away any means of the American public to protect themselves. Does this latest report of police departments harboring grenade launchers worry you? Let us know in the comments section!

Armed Federal Agents Terrorize Town In Unannounced Show of Force

The writers here at Mr. Conservative have been reporting for several months now that the government is clearly preparing themselves for either civil unrest or an uprising. Although it was unknown at the time, the Department of Homeland Security, as well as other armed federal agents terrorized a small town in what seems to have been an unannounced show of force.
The incident occurred in Livingston, IL – a small little town with a population of about 850 people – where Blackhawk helicopters and MRAP (armored) vehicles swarmed in and parked on the school grounds. Needless to say, the town’s residents were taken back at the time as their obnoxious, and arguably blatant, show of force was explained to be unannounced.
http://www.mrconservative.com/files/...03e2d5981c.png
Reportedly, “agents from Homeland Security, the US Customs and Border Patrol and local police agencies,” all converged on the town and set up a temporary base of operations on the local grade school ball fields. During that time, one resident explains that, “When all the armored trucks started showing up and everything it made me kind of nervous.”
Since that time, local news outlets haven’t been able to identify the root cause for the event and are still considering the occurrence a “mystery.” Although it’s merely speculation, it’s quite clear to see that this was a practice response to a hypothetical event in which civil unrest was present.
http://www.mrconservative.com/files/...03e301d2ce.png
As the government continues to make it increasingly prevalent that they’re ready to take on the American people, demonstrations like this can only be seen as an act of intimidation. What do you guys think of this – is there any reason federal agencies would have a need to terrorize a small town like this? Let us know your thoughts on this in the comments below.

Cop tries to shoot dog, misses, hits 10-year-old boy
The Free Thought ProjectJohn VibesJuly 12, 2014
A ten year old boy in Georgia is lucky to be alive after he was shot by a police officer who was firing his gun at a dog. According to multiple reports, the police officer was in pursuit of a robbery suspect at the time of the indecent. A dog crossed paths with the officer and he decided to shoot at it.
His shot missed the dog and the stray bullet struck the young Dakota Corbitt who was playing nearby. It is still unclear as to why the officer felt the need to shoot at the dog in the first place, and there is no indication that the dog approached the officer in a threatening manner.
The bullet entered from the back of the knee and exited out of the front of the child’s leg.
Janelle Rich, Corbitt’s sister, told reporters of the horrific experience of her brother’s attack, and said that the officer seemed to have no remorse about what he had done.
“I ran out the house with one of my kids and saw my little brother on the porch pouring blood. He [the officer] was sitting there like he didn’t have a care in the world.” Rich said.
The officers name has not been released, nor has any information about his disciplinary action.
After the Dakota was shot he was rushed to Coffee Regional Medical Center and then transferred to Savannah Memorial Hospital where he was held for several hours for surgery.
The family waited in the hospital all night thinking that their son would need surgery. Luckily, hours later after lengthy examinations, they were told that the boy would not need surgery because no vital arteries were hit by the bullet. The full extent of the wound is unknown, and it is likely that the child will be traumatized for his entire life.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called to investigate the shooting, however since that is just another state institution it is doubtful that the family will see any justice.

This All but Proves that Police are Here For Revenue Collection & Revenue Collection Alone
The Free Thought Project
Matt AgoristJuly 12, 2014
David Bridson ran into a bit of bad luck last June when his car was stolen.
Not only did the thieves get his car, they also made off with his laptop and iPad.
But Bridson didn’t fret, after all with just a quick call, he’d have LAPD on the case.
A few days later, according to his Facebook page, Bridson had a major breakthrough in the case. “Anyone near XXXX south central ave? You could pick up my stolen iPad for me,” he posted on his wall. He’d been able to locate his stolen iPad using the iCloud’s locator function.
“I called the [police] station at 3:45,” David wrote. The response: “All the auto detectives have gone home for the day. I’ll give them the message and see if they want to do anything.”
Still having faith in the system, Bridson waited….and waited….and waited.
14 hours and no response later, David had to call back himself, and got the response: “So, the auto detective unit for LA says, ‘Yeah, sometimes we follow up on that if we have the personnel, but four of my detectives are on vacation, so I only have two and one is brand new. Sorry can’t help you.’”
Just to make this clear, Bridson had the GPS location of his stolen iPad, that was obtained from his stolen car and all the LAPD had to do was send a unit to the house; like fishing in a bucket!
No action was taken by the LAPD.
Days later Bridson gets a letter in the mail from Chief Charles Beck himself.
The letter read, “Part of my job is to prevent automobile theft.” wrote Chief Beck. “That is why the LAPD is offering ‘The CLUB’ anti-theft steering wheel locking device to those who have been victimized. This device normally costs $30. However, the LAPD can offer it to you at our cost of $13 per device.”
You cannot make this absurdity up!
So instead of actually solving a cut and dry case in which the LAPD had the actual location of stolen goods, they ignored it.
Instead of solving a crime the LAPD would rather peddle 2 decades old technology for a profit!
Silly citizen, the LAPD is there to bust evil marijuana users, and vile travelers who’d dare to drive without a seat belt! They have no time actual crime!
That’s because stopping actual crime requires real work, and doesn’t pay nearly as much as road piracy and drug busts.
Kudos LAPD, for showing your true colors.

Jason Sickles takes note of the growing online discontent with the police in America, but unlike a real journalist, he never asks WHY people are angry. He just blames the victims and acts as if the police do no wrong. We know that nothing could be further from the truth. And while this article will make you angry, it does serve one purpose. It clearly illustrates (once again) that the mainstream media is a bought-out, corrupt propaganda arm for the state that is not to be trusted under any circumstance.

The celebrating began before the coroner could collect the bodies of Alyn Beck and Igor Soldo, the Las Vegas patrol officers ambushed and executed while eating at a pizzeria last month.
“The good news is, there are two less police in the world,” read an entry on the Facebook page for CopBlock.org.
The post was visible for less than a day, but it attracted at least 6,300 likes and comments by the time the page’s administrators removed it.
Jerad Miller — who along with his wife, Amanda, gunned down the Vegas police officers before dying during a shootout with police — was one of Cop Block’s 780,000-plus Facebook fans.
The decentralized advocacy group says it disavows violence while spreading a belief that “badges don’t grant extra rights.”
But the Millers, described by investigators as anti-government extremists, had a deadly animosity for authority.
“Bout time to start killing cops, eh?” Miller, 31, wrote in May when he shared a viral video of police brutality on Facebook. “Maybe if we can kill all these despotic goons they will turn on their masters and once again be public servants and we can end this madness.”
After a historic decline in the number of police officers fatally shot last year, 2014 has rebounded to previous levels. Beck and Soldo are among 28 U.S. officers shot and killed in the line of duty so far this year. The most recent death came Sunday, when rookie Jersey City, N.J., Officer Melvin Santiago was ambushed by a gunman who reportedly told people he was “going to be famous” for killing a cop.
Such shameless bravado — online and off — and an exploding right-wing movement are creating anxiety about attacks against police.
“There’s a deep concern that there has been a measurable increase in violence against police officers, especially with firearms,” said Rich Roberts, spokesman for the International Union of Police Associations. The anti-police movement “seems to feed off each other online,” he said.
The FBI has increased warnings about possible threats to law enforcement, multiple police sources told Yahoo News. The bureau declined to confirm any change.
This follows a 2009 Department of Homeland Security report that included a warning about domestic extremists using the Internet to recruit members, share tactics and raise hate to an all-time high.

This follows a 2009 Department of Homeland Security report that included a warning about domestic extremists using the Internet to recruit members, share tactics and raise hate to an all-time high.
Rich Stanek, who chairs the National Sheriffs’ Association Homeland Security Committee, said he proudly protects constitutional rights, but he worries social networking gives radicals such as Miller a false sense of recognition.
“They can post, blog and do so freely and anonymously without any accountability whatsoever,” said Stanek, sheriff of Hennepin County in Minnesota.
Escalating danger by anti-government extremists dominated a four-hour discussion on homeland security at last month’s National Sheriffs’ Association conference, said Stanek, who commands an 800-member department in Minneapolis.
“That’s the single greatest concern that faces our deputies today,” Stanek said.
Trent Nice, a former neighbor of Miller’s in Lafayette, Indiana, frequented his friend’s Facebook page.
“I shared a lot of his views, but would never do anything like that,” Nice told Yahoo News by email.
The week of the June 8 rampage, Nice gave an approving click to Miller’s Facebook manifesto predicting pending bloodshed and war.

“As far as me liking the post, if that’s what he intended when he posted it, then I severely misunderstood his post,” he wrote. “His heart was in the right place. His head wasn't.”
Meanwhile police near Lafayette, where the Millers lived before moving to Las Vegas, are reportedly keeping an eye on the 765 movement, a new anti-police group on Facebook.
Sam Bradbury, a group member, was jailed in late June for posting a detailed Facebook messagethreatening to kill multiple authorities and destroy a courthouse “in a blaze of glory.” Arresting officers also recovered six bags of bomb-making material from the 22-year-old’s home.
Bradbury is being held on federal charges of using electronic communications to threaten injury to a person and destroy property with an incendiary device. According to an FBI affidavit, Bradbury ended his Facebook rant by writing “FREE SPEECH EXERCISE FOOLS” in parentheses. But a judge ruled he did not have to accept Bradbury’s First Amendment disclaimer and ordered him held without bail until an arraignment later this month.
The Bradbury arrest is similar to a spate of recent prosecutions “for alleged threats conveyed on new media, including Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter,”according to a brief filed in a pending Supreme Court case. Free speech advocates want the court to clarify what constitutes a true threat in today’s digital world.
Mark Potok, an expert on extremism, said he believes it is rare for social media to inspire someone to kill.
“However, the kinds of people who are prone to those kinds of hatreds find validation and real community on the Internet,” said Potok, a senior researcher with the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Last week the SPLC issued a report warning law enforcement about the increasingly hostile anti-government movement, which it estimates has grown from 150 groups in 2008 to nearly 1,100 last year.
The economic crisis, proposed gun control, Barack Obama’s election, NSA spying and the militarization of police among other issues have spurred the resurgence, the watchdog organization said.
“There’s a hell of a lot of anger out there in certain corridors,” Potok told Yahoo News. “Jerad Miller was not the only one who saw police in the United States as Nazis.”
Miller found an approving audience for his conspiracy theories and political tirades online. Some Facebook posts were original, but he shared others from pages he frequented such as Patriot Nation, Taxation is Theft and Cop Block.
Cop Block co-founder Pete Eyre told Yahoo News the Facebook entry celebrating the Millers’ rampage wasn’t appropriate.
“There was blanket rejoicing over the deaths of two people and I don’t think that’s good in any situation,” Eyre said. “It didn’t fit Cop Block ideology. The site’s not an anti-police thing; it’s like a pro-personal empowerment site.”
Launched in 2010, Cop Block encourages the public to submit home videos, photos and stories of rogue officers for discussion.
Eyre said the Vegas entry was put up by a former volunteer who still had administrative access. The post and its removal provoked days of intense debate on the Cop Block Facebook page, which included the following comments:
“You don't promote accountability; you promote anti-police, anti-government behavior by publicizing criminals and making them out to be heroes.”“A cop died, opinions were stated... don't think a cop wouldn't be bragging about shooting you over some drinks with his cops buddies while he enjoys his 2 weeks paid vacation...”By its own account, the 2011 blog post “WHEN SHOULD YOU SHOOT A COP” is one of Cop Block’s most read. A week before the Vegas slayings, a photo on Cop Block’s Facebook page portrayed a dead officer with the words: “This is what a good cop looks like.”
“Really? That’s the message we want to send?” asked Melissa, the wife of a Kansas police officer. “It makes my stomach turn.”
Melissa, who requested that her full name not be used for safety reasons, said she and other police spouses are frustrated by Facebook’s lack of action in response to their Cop Block complaints.
A Facebook spokesperson told Yahoo News in a statement: “People come to Facebook to share experiences of the world around them and on occasion this may result in the sharing of content that some may find upsetting. We encourage anyone who sees content that violates our community standards to report it to us.”

Photos promoting officer deaths posted as comments to Cop Block’s page on May 25 and June 1 were removed by Facebook after being contacted for this story.
“I understand the need for people to express their opinion, but I think there is a line that has to be watched,” Melissa said. “When does an opinion become a plan of action?”
Nice hadn’t seen Miller in a few years, but his Facebook connection earned him a visit from FBI agents after the Las Vegas murders.
“I told them if they wanted to investigate someone, go investigate Barack Obama,” he recalled. “They kinda just had a smirk on their faces when I said that, and said well we're investigating this right now. I don't know if (they) were trying to get background on him or find out if there are more crazies like him.”

Being from Las Vegas this hit home very quickly.... This was a very sad incident. There seemed to be no ryme or reason for these killings only a crime of opportunity that I know of, or reported at least. No where did I read that these two knew the police officers personally or other wise..Aside from that there is plenty of abuse that does go on here. There have been many incidents that have happend over the past 15 -20 years here and it seems to be getting more often of late...And not only in Las Vegas but all over the country..When word came out that Obama asked if our police officers and the military could fire on thier own citizens it seemed to wake everyone up...It does seem as though they can to me and that is a terrifying thing at least to me...I think our officers have a very hard job they are caught in between law abiding citizens, criminals sometimes themselves and I wish I had an answer. All I can say is things do have to change, there is too much abuse going on and less and less respect for both sides of the equation...Things need to change because if this all continues we could be in very big trouble. I really believe the citizens have very little trust left in the majority of our police officers... My opinion of course.

A Connecticut state trooper is due in court this fall for sentencing, after he was found guilty of stealing from a motorcyclist who was dying on the side of the road. Dash cam footage from the officer’s patrol car showed him stealing cash from the dying man, as well as a golden crucifix.
On Wednesday afternoon, Aaron “AJ” Huntsman, a 19-year veteran of the state police, pleaded guilty to two felony charges of third-degree larceny and tampering with evidence.
Although your average person would face up to ten years under these same charges, officer Huntsman is looking at a maximum of a year and a half, plus five years probation. He even has the ability to plead for a lesser sentence, just because he is a cop.
The victim of the theft was 49 year old John Scalesse, a former executive of a company called JAS Masonry. Scalesse was killed on Sept. 22, 2012 after his motorcycle crashed into a construction company truck on the highway.
In his dying moments, Scalesse was approached by officer Huntsman, who was the first cop to arrive on the scene. Huntsman walked over to where Scalesse was laying, bent down and picked up Scalesse’s gold chain and a roll of bills containing $3,700.
When asked about the money by Scalesse’s grieving father, Huntsman had said that that he didn’t see any money at the scene. The lie ultimately became exposed when the cash was found under the front seat of Huntsman’s patrol car.
According to State Police, Huntsman continued to claim that he was innocent, even after he was shown a video of him taking the money.

Four veteran New York State Parole officers, who were driving down route 59 in Rockland County, didn’t know their lives were going to be forever changed on that late April night.
The last thing they thought would happen would be a potentially deadly confrontation with other cops. But that is exactly what happened.
The officers were wearing their vests and shields and riding in a state-issued vehicle with a parole placard on the dashboard. Suddenly, the car was surrounded at gunpoint by cops from the Ramapo Police department and one from the Village of Suffern.
“All I could think of was if I sneeze, or blink, or clear my throat, that, yeah, I might have a bullet lodged in my head,” said Annette Thomas, one of the officers in the car that night.
The officers believe they were victims of racial profiling. “Racial profiling, there’s no doubt in my mind. I believe that 4 black officers with gold shields in a predominantly white neighborhood was just a tad bit too much for them to swallow,” Shelia Penister told WABC New York, when asked about the reason for the stop.
Apparently Ramapo cops received a 9-1-1 call reporting black people riding through the neighborhood wearing bullet proof vests, so they responded.
According to WABC, Officer Mario Alexandre had left his business card at the parole violator’s home but says police never called his number, and although the vehicle plate was registered to the state, cops still confronted the parole officers. Alexandre, the driver, says a Ramapo PD cop got physical.
“He came toward me, punched me in the badge, said, bulls—, you can buy it at any store. I said, if you turn it over, you will see the state ID. But he didn’t pay no attention to that,” he said.
The scene quickly escalated into a dangerous situation as the assaulting officers began issuing different commands while pointing guns as the 4 officers.
“We had our hands up but then they were giving us different commands,” said Washington. Alexandre said that everyone was giving different orders and they were afraid they were going to get shot.
The officers have now filed a Federal claim against both police departments for violating their civil rights.
“Once they already had confirmation of the identities’ of my clients, they had 1, no right to stop them, 2, no right to hold them at gunpoint, 3, no right to assault them and use excessive force on them,” said Bonita Zelman, attorney for the officers.
The officers have been so traumatized by this incident that they are unable to return to the job.
“If I do return to work, I still have to encounter working with other law enforcement agencies and I’m not sure how I’m supposed to do that when I’m fearful, distrusting. I basically felt betrayed,” said Thomas.
If ever there were a red flag of a government organization running wild with violence and negligence, this is it. Hopefully this incident will shine some much needed light on the deadly incompetence of so many police departments.

New Video Purports to Show the Aftermath of the Chokehold that Led to Eric Garner’s Death
WASHINGTON POST
NIRAJ CHOKSHIJULY 20, 2014
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Jq4o-J5R88#t=93
New footage posted online purports to show more than seven additional minutes of the events surrounding the death of Eric Garner, the Staten Island man who was put in a chokehold by a New York police officer and died. The death Thursday of Garner, who authorities say died of a heart attack, sparked a rally Saturday during which his wife burst into tears, stoked online discussions about racial tension in America and led New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio to cancel a family vacation to Italy. De Blasio had endured criticism earlier for his decision to travel ahead of a potential Long Island Rail Road strike. In a video obtained by the New York Daily Newsand published Thursday, Garner can reportedly be seen complaining about routine police harassment as two officers stand on either side of him. Later in the video, the two officers close in on Garner, who repeatedly says, “Don’t touch me,” as one officer puts him in a chokehold. He then can be heard repeatedly saying that he can’t breathe. Garner, a 6-foot-3, 350-pound black man, was asthmatic, the Daily News reported.
A new video posted online and embedded below purports to show Garner lying on the ground for several minutes surrounded by police officers as they wait for emergency personnel. One officer can be heard saying, “Come on, guy, breathe in, breathe out, all right?” Garner appears motionless on the ground. The Post has not yet been able to verify the video, which appears to feature the same scene and several of the same officers, in similar outfits, as the Daily News video.

This Grandpa Has Had Enough of Police Killing People
July 20, 2014
On July 17 the NYPD killed Eric Garner, husband and a father of 6 children.
The entire incident was caught on video from a witness who kept telling the cops that the man had not committed a crime.
It was a horrible tragedy indeed and garnished the attention of youtube sensation, Angry Grandpa, who is not afraid of airing his opinion.
Angry Grandpa epitomizes the anger that so much of America has today. The people are tired of watching innocent men and women die at the hands of those who claim to protect them.
If the police were actually protecting and serving, people like Angry Grandpa would be ranting about baseball or football, but they are not.

SAN DIEGO - As the start of Comic
Comic-Con approaches, a well-known advocate for the homeless contacted 10News, accusing police of moving in on the homeless to remove them before the convention begins.
James Loften, who is homeless, pointed out to 10News reporter Rielle Creighton the spot near 15th Street and Island Avenue where he was arrested days ago. Loften was pointing because he says he is not allowed to be on that street anymore.
"Officers came and woke me up at about six in the morning and told me I was under arrest for illegal lodging and encroachment," he said. "I'm like, 'But all I did was go to sleep.'"
Loften showed 10News the ticket along with the stay-away order for the street he received from San Diego police, right before he says he was carted off to jail.
He was not the only homeless person complaining they have been to lockup recently.
"People on these streets are unsightly to the public, to the general public and certainly to visitors coming in from out of town," said David Ross.
Ross, who is better known as "Waterman," is a well-known outspoken advocate for the homeless. He is often seen downtown handing out water bottles and blankets to transients.
Ross says San Diego police are rounding up people to make way for the biggest city event in the city, Comic-Con.
10News called San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer's office to see if this was true. A spokesman told 10News he spoke to San Diego Police Chief Shelley Zimmerman and called the claims untrue, saying "Comic Con is nearly a week away" and why would they "crack down this early?"
The spokesman added the only thing police are doing now is homeless outreach and getting beds and meals to those in the worst condition.

Ten Truths About the American Police State
“The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who is able to think things out for himself…Almost inevitably, he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, and intolerable.”
-H.L. Mencken, American journalist
It’s vogue, trendy and appropriate to look to dystopian literature as a harbinger of what we’re experiencing at the hands of the government. Certainly, George Orwell’s 1984 and Animal Farm have much to say about government tyranny, corruption, and control, as does Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World and Philip K. Dick’s Minority Report. Yet there are also older, simpler, more timeless stories—folk tales and fairy tales—that speak just as powerfully to the follies and foibles in our nature as citizens and rulers alike that give rise to tyrants and dictatorships.
One such tale, Hans Christian Andersen’s fable of the Emperor’s New Clothes, is a perfect paradigm of life today in the fiefdom that is the American police state, only instead of an imperial president spending money wantonly on lavish vacations, entertainment, and questionable government programs aimed at amassing greater power, Andersen presents us with a vain and thoughtless emperor, concerned only with satisfying his own needs at the expense of his people, even when it means taxing them unmercifully, bankrupting his kingdom, and harshly punishing his people for daring to challenge his edicts.
For those unfamiliar with the tale, the Emperor, a vain peacock of a man, is conned into buying a prohibitively expensive suit of clothes that is supposedly visible only to those who are smart, competent and well-suited to their positions. Surrounded by yes men, professional flatterers and career politicians who fawn, simper and genuflect, the Emperor—arrogant, pompous and oblivious to his nudity—prances through the town in his new suit of clothes until a child dares to voice what everyone else has been thinking but too afraid to say lest they be thought stupid or incompetent: “He isn’t wearing anything at all!”
Much like the people of the Emperor’s kingdom, we, too, have been conned into believing that if we say what we fear, if we dare to suggest that something is indeed “rotten in the state of Denmark,” we will be branded idiots and fools by the bureaucrats, corporate heads, governmental elites and media hotshots who have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo—or who at least are determined to maintain the façade that is the status quo. Yet the truth is staring us in the face just as surely as the fact that the Emperor was wearing no clothes.
Truth #1: The U.S. is on the brink of bankruptcy, as many economists have been warning for some time now, with more than $16 trillion in debts owned by foreign nationals and corporations. As one financial news site reports: “Internationally, the world is fed up with The Fed and the U.S. government’s unabashed debt growth. China, Russia, Iran, India and a host of other countries are establishing trade relationships that are bypassing the U.S. dollar altogether, a move that will soon see the world’s reserve currency lose purchasing power and status. In anticipation of this imminent collapse gold is being hoarded by private and public entities from Berlin to Beijing in an effort to preserve wealth before the Tsunami hits.”
Truth #2: We no longer have a government that is “of the people, for the people and by the people.” What we have now is a feudal monarchy, run by wealthy overlords and financed with the blood, sweat and labor of the underclasses who are kept in check by the increasingly militarized police. This sorry state of affairs is reinforced by a study which found that average citizens have “little or no independent influence” on the policy-making process. A similar study published by thePolitical Research Quarterly revealed that members of the U.S. Senate represent their wealthiest constituents while ignoring those on the bottom rung of the economic ladder.
Truth #3: Far from being a benevolent entity concerned with the well-being of its citizens, whether in matters of health, safety or security, the government is concerned with three things only: power, control and money. As an often quoted adage says, “Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” Unfortunately, the master-servant relationship that once had the government answering to “we the people” has been reversed. Government agents now act as if they are the masters and we are the servants. Nowhere is this more evident than in the transformation of police officers from benevolent keepers of the peace to inflexible extensions of the military hyped up on the power of their badge.
Truth #4: Our primary use to the government is as consumers, worker bees and bits of data to be collected, catalogued, controlled, mined for information, and sold to the highest bidder. Working in cahoots with corporations, the government has given itself carte blanche access to our phone calls, emails, bank transactions, physical movements, even our travels on foot or in our cars. Cybersecurity expert Richard Clarke envisions a future where data about every aspect of our lives will be collected and analyzed. Thus, no matter what the U.S. Supreme Court might have said to the contrary, the government no longer needs a warrant to spy on your cell phone activity or anything else for that matter. As theWashington Post recently revealed, 9 out of 10 people caught up in the NSA’s surveillance net had done nothing wrong to justify such intrusions on their privacy. Clearly, the government now operates relatively autonomously, answering only to itself and unbridled by the courts, Congress, the will of the people or the Constitution.
Truth #5: Whatever problems we are grappling with in regards to illegal immigrants flooding over the borders has little to do with the fact that the borders are porous and everything to do with the government’s own questionable agenda. How is it that a government capable of locking down roads, open seas, and air routes is unable to prevent tens of thousands of women and children from crossing into the U.S. illegally? Conveniently, the Obama administration is asking Congress for $3.8 billion in emergency funding to send more immigration judges to the southern border, build additional detention facilities and add border patrol agents. The funds would be managed by the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, State and Health and Human Services, the very same agencies responsible for bringing about a rapid shift into a police state.
Truth #6: The U.S. government is preparing for massive domestic unrest, arising most likely from an economic meltdown. The government has repeatedly made clear its intentions, through its U.S. Army War College report alerting the military to prepare for a “violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States,” through its ongoing military drills in cities across the country, through its profiling of potential homegrown “dissidents” or extremists, and through the proliferation of detention centers being built across the country.
Truth #7: As Gerald Ford warned, “A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have.” Too often, Americans have fallen prey to the temptation to let the government take care of whatever ails them, whether it be financial concerns, health needs, childcare. As a result, we now find ourselves caught in a Catch-22 situation wherein the government’s so-called solutions to our problems have led to even graver problems. In this way, zero tolerance policies intended to outlaw drugs and weapons in schools result in young children being arrested and kicked out of school for childish behavior such as drawing pictures of soldiers and crying too much; truancy laws intended to keep students in school have resulted in parents being arrested and fined excessively; and zoning laws intended to protect homeowners have been used to prosecute residents who attempt to live off the grid.
Truth #8: The U.S. is following the Nazi blueprint to a “t,” whether through its storm trooper-like police in the form of heavily armed government agents, to its erection of an electronic concentration camp that not only threatens to engulf America but the rest of the world as well via NSA surveillance programs such as Five Eyes. Most damning of all is the Department of Homeland Security’s self-appointed role as a national police force, a.k.a. standing army, the fundamental and final building block for every totalitarian regime that has ever wreaked havoc on humanity. Indeed, just about every nefarious deed, tactic or thuggish policy advanced by the government today can be traced back to the DHS, its police state mindset, and the billions of dollars it distributes to police agencies in the form of grants.
Truth #9: Not only does the U.S. government perpetrate organized, systematic violence on its own citizens, especially those who challenge its authority nonviolently, in the form of SWAT team raids, militarized police, and roaming VIPR checkpoints, but it gets away with these clear violations of the Fourth Amendment because the courts grant them immunity from wrongdoing. Expanding its reach, the U.S. also exports its violence wholesale to other countries through armaments sales and the use of its military as a global police force. Yet no matter how well trained, well equipped and well financed, America cannot police the world. As history shows, military empires, once over extended, inevitably collapse into chaos.
Truth #10: As I make clear in my book A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State, the United States of America has become the new battlefield. In fact, the only real war being fought by the U.S. government today is the war on the American people, and it is being waged with deadly weapons, militarized police, surveillance technology, laws that criminalize otherwise lawful behavior, private prisons that operate on quota systems, and government officials who are no longer accountable to the rule of law.
So there you have it: facts rather than fiction, so naked that a child could call it for what it is, and yet so politically inconvenient, incorrect and uncomfortable that few dare to speak of them.
Even so, despite the fact that no one wants to be labeled dimwitted, or conspiratorial, or a right wing nut job, most Americans, if they were truly paying attention to what’s been going on in this country over the past few decades and willing to be truthful, at least to themselves, would have to admit that the outlook is decidedly grim. Indeed, unless something changes drastically for the good in the near future, it looks like this fairytale will not have a happy ending.

By all definition it is most assuredly funded by the public, but Lieutenant Wright, thought it was under his control.

The MSM is Attacking CopBlockers, We Must Be Doing it Right!
The Free Thought Project
Matt Agorist
July 22, 2014
There has been a tidal wave of people waking up to the encroaching police state over the last 18 months.
The CopBlock Facebook page has grown from a mere 100,000 fans in November of 2013 to over 800,000 today; gaining over 40,000 fans, just this week.
Word is getting out that police are transitioning from Barney Fife to Darth Vader and the people are demanding peaceful change; it is working.
Police misconduct has gotten so out of hand that even the federal government has had to step in to investigate.
Citizens are stepping up to the plate and holding police accountable through filming police interaction and in some cases pulling cops over to show then that they are NOT above the law.
The Free Thought Project.com has gone from a ranking of about 100,000 in the US to just over 1,000 and we are still climbing. Out of the billions of websites in the world, The Free Thought Project is now ranked just over 5,000th.
Holding the police accountable is popular like never before; which is why the movement has garnished the attention of the mainstream media. Unfortunately and predictably, most of this attention is not positive.
Last week Yahoo! News put out a hit piece equating filming cops with mass murder. They mentioned a post made to CopBlock’s Facebook page in reference to the shootings in Las Vegas:
“The good news is, there are two less police in the world,” read an entry on the Facebook page for CopBlock.org.
What they did not mention is that the person who made that post was quickly banned from posting. The reason that this cause has so much support is because it is peaceful. The moment that people begin enacting violence or even praising it, is the moment all this momentum goes down the drain.
Next up on the bandwagon of disinformation is FOX News whose police state cheerleading is overt and in your face.
On the O’Reilly factor Monday, talking heads Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly, curtseyed to the police state like the loyal Praetorian Guards that they are.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgwlBfAydZE
The argument against holding police accountable is so weak that the logical fallacies applied during their “report” reach staggering levels as they try to justify their ludicrous assertions. We will address a few of the obvious ones below:
–For starters they build a strawman and try to equate filming cops with “spying on cops.” Not the same thing Bill! To spy, one must furtively record, or clandestinely view. Copblockers are out in the open.
“If you mention that these cops were followed, then they were only followed after they were seen going over 15+mph over the posted limit, which the video shows.” Joseph Tye explains to The Free Thought Project.
–The more they realize that their ignorant stance holds no water, they resort to attacking the personal traits of Joseph Tye by calling him, “Paul Bunyan” and a “Biker.” Dear talking heads, that is called ad hominem. They mentioned nothing about these Texas CopBlockers catching cops speeding at 15+ mph over the speed limit, twice, on the same night.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIvJ8U1KqCI&list=UUWOO1aG12XSTds70Hgi0JFA
–The next fallacy to be used by these blowhards is the slippery slope fallacy. Megyn Kelly claims that if we continue to allow people to film cops, “there is a question of where all this could end up,” insinuating, like Yahoo! News did, that filming cops means you want to kill cops.
–Finally this rag of a “report” tries to appeal to emotion by laughing at the fact that CopBlock co-founder, Ademo Freeman, said he was “a two-time victim of the drug war.”
If you are Megyn Kelly or Bill O’Reilly, being kidnapped and locked in a cage for possessing a plant is not only 100% justified, it is funny.
Instead of relying on Fox News to tell us that Ademo Freeman is a criminal druggy, the Free Thought Project contacted Freeman, who is also successful owner of Suns of Liberty Mint, to find out exactly what happened.
The first time Freeman was arrested and charged with a felony for victimless crimes, he was trading marijuana for money from a willing costumer; something that happens to be completely legal now, in multiple states.
The second time, Freeman says, “it was a fishing expedition by the local police.” He was arrested and charged with yet another felony for possessing a “dime bag of weed.”
Freeman goes on to explain, “If anyone is upset that organizations like CopBlock exist, then they haven’t been asking the right questions. CopBlock doesn’t exist solely because I was arrested in the past, it exists because police are the enforcers of an oppressive government and people are realizing it.”
http://tftppull.freethoughtllc.netdn...4/07/plant.jpg
Regardless of your political views or affiliations, recognizing oppressive violence transcends party lines.
The militarization of police affects everyone. Despite what FOXSNBCNN says, Liberals, conservatives, tea partiers, libertarians, socialists, and anarchists agree….the police state is here.
With tens of thousands of SWAT raids a year, it is only a matter of time before it’s your son, your daughter, your mother or your father, that is victimized by the leviathan that is Police State USA.Millions of people are arrested, locked in cages or killed every year for victimless crimes. Small towns across America are getting MRAPs and police look more like a standing army on a daily basis.
If the establishment presstitute media is attacking your peaceful organization that stands against such tyranny, then you are doing something right.
The question is not, “Why are organizations like CopBlock gaining support?” The question is “Who in their right mind can continue to support such a tyrannical state?”

YAHOO! News Equates Filming Cops with Wanting to Kill Them
Concerns about police brutality, militarization of law enforcement blamed on “anti-government radicals”
Infowars.comPaul Joseph WatsonJuly 15, 2014A Yahoo! News story published today equates concerns about police brutality, the militarization of law enforcement and videotaping cops with wanting to carry out violent murders of police officers.
In a piece entitled Online rants, anti-government radicals fuel fear of U.S. cop killings, Senior National Reporter for Yahoo! Jason Sickles cites the murders of Las Vegas police officers Alyn Beck and Igor Soldo last month to make the case that there is “an exploding right-wing movement” which is “creating anxiety about attacks against police.”
Sickles notes that cop killer Jerad Miller posted of his intention to murder law enforcement officers on a Facebook page belonging to Cop Block, an organization that encourages citizens to document examples of police brutality. The fact that the organization has over 780,000 Facebook fans, all but one of whom have never murdered a police officer, doesn’t prevent Sickles from honing in on the group as being partly responsible for the deaths of Beck and Soldo.
After spending almost the entire article equating the murders with Cop Block, Sickles then notes that the organization, “encourages the public to submit home videos, photos and stories of rogue officers for discussion.”
The hit piece then broadens out into the wider implication that concerns expressed online about, “the economic crisis, proposed gun control, Barack Obama’s election, NSA spying and the militarization of police,” are intimately connected with violent extremism and attacks against police officers. The article makes no mention whatsoever of the innumerable examples in recent years of police officers murdering citizens, which far outnumber fatal attacks by citizens against cops.
Sickles fails to cite the case of Kelly Thomas, a homeless man who was pummeled into a coma as he begged for his life during an incident in 2011. The Fullerton, California police officers responsible for his murder were acquitted.
The article also omits a more recent case involving 38-year-old James Boyd, who was executed by Albuquerque Police Department officers for the crime of camping illegally on a remote hill. The Albuquerque Police Department alone has been responsible for murdering 26 people since 2010, many of them mentally disabled, a statistic which didn’t stop the department from recently acquiring 350 assault rifles.
The number of Americans killed by police in the United States now outnumbers the amount of U.S. troops killed in Iraq. Over 5,000 Americans have been killed by cops since 9/11, a figure that suggests,”Americans should be more fearful of the local cops than “terrorists,” writes Katie Rucke. To illustrate the sheer scale of the violent threat posed to the public by police officers, in cities like Seattle, 20% of all homicides are carried out by cops.According to a recent ACLU investigation, the excessive militarization of American policing, which has contributed to cops treating citizens “like wartime enemies,” has contributed to a huge increase in injuries and deaths.
In comparison, although 2014 saw a spike, the general trend shows that police officers themselves have never been safer in the line of duty, with the number of cops killed by citizens dropping to a 50 year low back in January.
These statistics, none of which were included in Sickles’ smear piece, clearly illustrate that police officers pose a far deadlier violent threat to the American people than vice versa. That doesn’t justify violence against cops, but it does underscore the fact that concerns about police brutality are rooted in a very real problem and cannot be blamed on politically driven arguments about anti-government extremism as Sickles attempts to portray in his factually bankrupt hit piece.

Cop on Laptop Runs Red Light and Smashes into Other Cop, No Tickets Issued
The Free Thought Project
John Vibes
July 24, 2014
This week at an intersection in Syracuse, New York, two police cars collided when an officer in one of the cars ran a red light. The officer who was driving the vehicle that ran the light was actually distracted because using a laptop computer in his car.
It was reported that 35 year old Officer Robert Harrington ran the light at the intersection of East Water and South Townsend streets, colliding with an unmarked police car that contained 51-year-old Detective Edward MacBlane.
Tickets were not issued to anyone involved in the incident, but if it was not a police officer who was responsible for this collision, then there would have easily been a number of fines and tickets, if not an arrest.
Harrington claims that he was in pursuit of a “suspicious person”, but his emergency lights or sirens were not on at the time of the crash, and there has been no proof put forward to verify this claim. According to the police department, neither officer was injured in the crash and both vehicles sustained minor damage.
On a daily basis, innocent people around the country are given fines for distracted driving for talking on their cellphones or even using the GPS. Additionally, people are stopped and searched by police every day because they were seen holding a cellphone.
Police on the other hand are not only able to drive around while using their cellphones, but they are actually able to use a full size laptop computer while driving down the street. To make matters worse, they aren’t even charged with a crime when they drive recklessly.
This case is not alone either, cases of police driving recklessly are actually fairly common, and this is no surprise because they will see no consequences if they get involved in an accident.

SANTA ANA – Olivia Arzate knew her son had been arrested, but she didn’t understand at first why he ended up in a hospital.
It was weeks later that she saw a video of her son’s arrest – him on the ground, an officer delivering six punches and another swinging a baton at her son’s legs.
“Yes, arrest and punish him, but why did he hit him?” Arzate said.
Santa Ana police said this week the department is investigating the use of force by officers recorded by a nearby surveillance camera the night of the arrest. Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said investigators were aware of the video that night but were unable to obtain a copy for the internal investigation until weeks later.

More and more children being arrested for trivial things - things we all got up to as kids:
#1 At one public school down in Texas, a 12-year-old girl named Sarah Bustamantes was recently arrested for spraying herself with perfume.
#2 A 13-year-old student at a school in Albuquerque, New Mexico was recently arrested by police for burping in class.
#3 Another student down in Albuquerque was forced to strip down to his underwear while five adults watched because he had $200 in his pocket. The student was never formally charged with doing anything wrong.
#4 A security guard at one school in California broke the arm of a 16-year-old girl because she left some crumbs on the floor after cleaning up some cake that she had spilled.
#5 One teenage couple down in Houston poured milk on each other during a squabble while they were breaking up. Instead of being sent to see the principal, they were arrested and sent to court.
#6 In early 2010, a 12-year-old girl at a school in Forest Hills, New York was arrested by police and marched out of her school in handcuffs just because she doodled on her desk. "I love my friends Abby and Faith" was what she reportedly scribbled on her desk.
#7 A 6-year-old girl down in Florida was handcuffed and sent to a mental facility after throwing temper tantrums at her elementary school.
#8 One student down in Texas was reportedly arrested by police for throwing paper airplanes in class.
#9 A 17-year-old honor student in North Carolina named Ashley Smithwick accidentally took her father's lunch with her to school. It contained a small paring knife which he would use to slice up apples. So what happened to this standout student when the school discovered this? The school suspended her for the rest of the year and the police charged her with a misdemeanor.
#10 In Allentown, Pennsylvania a 14-year-old girl was tasered in the groin area by a school security officer even though she had put up her hands in the air to surrender.

#14 In America today, even 5-year-old children are treated brutally by police. The following is from a recent article that described what happened to one very young student in Stockton, California a while back....
"Earlier this year, a Stockton student was handcuffed with zip ties on his hands and feet, forced to go to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and was charged with battery on a police officer. That student was 5 years old".
#15 At one school in Connecticut, a 17-year-old boy was thrown to the floor and tasered five times because he was yelling at a cafeteria worker.
#16 A teenager in suburban Dallas was forced to take on a part-time job after being ticketed for using foul language in one high school classroom. The original ticket was for $340, but additional fees have raised the total bill to $637.
#17 A few months ago, police were called out when a little girl kissed a little boy during a physical education class at an elementary school down in Florida.
#18 A 6-year-old boy was recently charged with sexual battery for some "inappropriate touching" during a game of tag at one elementary school in the San Francisco area.

A Mayes County police chief was arrested and released on a $100,000 bond, Friday the 25th of July. He was charged with two counts of lewd molestation.
Police chief Clarence Gregory Sr., 75, stands accused of inappropriately touching two girls over a 7-year period, according to the probable cause affidavit.
“This is such a shock,” Spavinaw Mayor Jim Winn said on Friday.
In true sociopath fashion Gregory apparently admitted to the accusations but has already justified them in his own mind. Gregory told investigators he “was trying to instruct them (the girls) on what to not let boys do to them,” court records indicate.
Gregory may actually believe that he has some god-like authority that allows him to molest little girls with impunity, because of his Law Enforcement status.
It’s a good thing that Gregory didn’t try to show these girls “how not to be shot in the head” as well.
No one saw this coming and apparently this incident took the community by surprise, according to Grand Lake News.
A church Sunday school teacher, former Spavinaw coach and school board member, Gregory had no complaints lodged against him until the current allegations, Winn said.Gregory appeared in court Friday and was released from jail on bond on the condition that he not have any contact with the girls or their families, court records show. He is to return to court on Thursday, Aug. 14.
“He has taken my children to church with him,” said Spavinaw resident Michelle Moore.
She said her children never had any problems with Gregory but that she won’t take any chances with her children’s safety in the future.
Gregory is now on paid vacation and will have to find some other underage girls to teach.

DHS Raid Home To Seize Land Rover For Violation Of EPA Regulations

Our government is out of control.
Check it out:
As part of its mission to “protect the Homeland,” the DHS has been busy seizing imported vehicles that don’t comply with safety and CO2 regulations.
Jennifer and Bill Brinkley were satisfied that their $60,000 dollar purchase of a Land Rover Defender on eBay complied with regulations because it fell into the exemption category of a vehicle 25 years or older.
However, when DHS agents turned up at the property, they compared the car’s Vehicle Identification Number to a list and immediately seized the Land Rover. The couple were not given “a chance to debate the issue.”
WBTV’s Steve Ohnesorge said DHS agents conducted “almost like a raid to get the car.”
“it’s just unnerving the way they did it,” said Bill Brinkley.
The feds have given the Brinkley’s 35 days to appeal the seizure but refuse to tell them where the vehicle is located. The DHS has also failed to respond to media requests about the incident.
The Department of Homeland Security, created in the aftermath of 9/11, was tasked with the role of protecting America from terrorists, man-made accidents and natural disasters. However, the DHS has been turned into a national police force with a remit that extends from seizing websites for copyright infringement to confiscating fake NFL merchandise.

Protecting America from the deadly threat posed by vehicles which flout emission standards

In another example of how the Department of Homeland Security has expanded far outside the purview of its original function, six vehicles full of DHS agents were required to seize a Land Rover from a couple in Statesville, N.C. due to the fact that the vehicle allegedly violates EPA emission standards.
As the Rutherford Institute’s John Whitehead explained in a widely circulated article last month, the DHS is becoming America’s domestic standing army.
“The menace of a national police force, aka a standing army, vested with so much power cannot be overstated, nor can its danger be ignored,” wrote Whitehead, before listing numerous examples of how the DHS is instrumental in pushing America’s decline into a militarized police state.
One such example occurred earlier this month in Greenville, North Carolina, when teams of armed DHS agents showed up outside a courthouse building. There was no threat to the building – the purpose of the agents’ presence was to “let people know they’re in the area,” while encouraging residents to snitch on their neighbors via the ‘See Something, Say Something’ program.
In another incident, the DHS conducted a military-style invasion of a small town in Illinois complete with armored vehicles, a Black Hawk helicopter and a phalanx of heavy duty equipment and weaponry. It subsequently emerged that the reason behind the show of force – which spooked locals – was to apprehend one man for downloading indecent images on his computer.
Given this history, the Brinkleys should probably count themselves lucky that they didn’t have guns pointed at their head during the seizure of the Land Rover, which the DHS apparently sees as a bigger threat to America than the nation’s porous borders and the fact that the TSA, a subdivision of the DHS, allows illegal aliens to board planes without identification.
