    So right that money is not funding the National Guard. Two weeks ago my hubby and I were in town, in his truck....his brakes sounded real bad so we pulled into a auto repair place.

    We had to go pick up a vehicle from the National Guard, so hubby could transport guards to the airport 4 hrs. from here.

    We drove back to the auto repair and dropped off the truck, then I got in that vehicle.....what a disaster!

    It was an automatic, but it wouldn't shift into gear, he had a time getting the steering wheel to turn...they had painted "do not go over 50 mph" on the glove compartment door!

    I told him he should turn around and take that thing back, that he shouldn't go on a 4 hr. trip in that thing!

    Of course, he went...thank goodness he made it home ok.

    In my 50 years I have NEVER seen more treasonous acts by a president or administration as I have with Bush (and many others).
