Wait Until You See How Close ISIS Got to Raising Their Flag at The White House

Just prior to President Obama announcing that the United States will be conducting airstrikes on the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group, a spokesman for the group named Abu Mosa said they will “raise the flag of Allah in the White House” in a propaganda video released by IS. The group’s rhetoric against America has been increasing as they become more emboldened in their reign of terror across the Middle East, and now it’s being reported that one of their members tweeted a very disturbing picture showing that the group has in fact made it to our soil.
The image was posted on Saturday to the account of Shaiba al Hamad and accompanied by the caption “We r here .” The user tagged President Obama and The White House in the post, which shows an iPhone bearing the insignia of IS and in the background is the White House.
Such a report is chilling after two Republican lawmakers appeared on Sunday news programs to give a dire warning to the President and Americans that we should be taking the threats from IS very seriously, because they’re capable of attacking our homeland.
John McCain told CNN’s “State of the Union” that U.S. intelligence is currently tracking 100 members from the group that are currently on American soil and the likelihood of an attack is increasing, while Lindsey Graham appeared on “Fox News Sunday” to give a similar warning. McCain also pointed out that the group’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, said “See you in New York” as he was released from a U.S. detention facility in Iraq.
The group has repeatedly mentioned the U.S. homeland. On Friday after the first strikes were carried out by an American F-18, members of IS reacted on social media with direct threats to specific cities. Using the hashtag #AmessagefromISIStoUS, terrorists tweeted sinister messages including saying they have “an appointment in New York” and “Today Mosul, tomorrow Seattle.”

While the tweet that was posted Saturday may seem relatively harmless, it reveals a very frightening reality – members of this extremely brutal and dangerous organization are in fact here in America, and that’s something we should all be concerned with. Meanwhile, President Obama has repeatedly tried to downplay the threat from the militant Islamic group, even referencing them as a “Junior Varsity” organization in an effort to justify his slow reaction which has allowed the group to rapidly take over large portions of the Middle East.
Perhaps now he’ll take them a little more seriously.
Make sure you share this story if you’re concerned these people are in our nation.
