BOSTON — “SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!” counter-protesters screamed at a Donald Trump supporter wearing an American flag around his shoulders.

“We’re not Nazis,” the man in question told The Daily Caller as he scuffled away from the mob. “We’re here to exercise our American tradition of free speech.”

He was spat on. Water was thrown on him. His Make America Great Again Hat was knocked off, twice. Nobody broke up the conflict: they were too busy filming from their smartphones like an episode of “Black Mirror.”

“YOU KILLED HEATHER [Heyer]!” someone screamed.

His companion told them that he served in the U.S. military.

“You didn’t fight for shit, bro,” an Antifa member yelled.

Unable to join the Free Speech rally at the hilltop gazebo blocked off by police barricades (where his comrades hold signs reading Black Lives Do Matter and Say No to GMO’s), he was swallowed by anger.

In the wake of Charlottesville, this is America in 2017: S.W.A.T. officers in full riot gear, a handful of free speech protesters holding “Say No To GMO’s” signs that need police escorts, and tens of thousands of misinformed anti-fascists thinking they’re protesting white supremacists.

This is out of control! The last 8 years have fostered so much hate and violence in this country and disgusting people coming out of the woodwork have no respect for property or others. I hope this can be stopped quickly and shut down.

Bring out the water cannons, use curfew...whatever it takes!

Then for that piece of garbage to stab a horse with a nail...that is horrible!

It is getting ridiculous - it needs to stop.

Everyone has a right to free speech. I believe totally in their right to speak and say whatever they want. It should not be done in a manner that others are forced to hear it.

Give them a place to speak, and let the say whatever they want. They should be kept out of the streets, and off the sidewalks. They should not be allowed to impede traffic or intimidate people.

Maybe they should rent a stadium for their free speech in these massive groups and pay for the security and damages too.

Get them out of our streets! What about the costs of their destruction to taxpayers!

Until they are held personally responsible, both legally and financially for their actions, this will not stop. The bandanna brats are the schoolyard bullies that keep getting away with it.
