Thread: We have 200+ remaining sain and honest people in the Congres

Guys, please take time out tomorrow morning to give positive e mails and calls to the 200+ sane and honest people still remaining in the Congress. I know that is not much, but that is all we got, and those 200+ will be the ones to save this nation or join the globalist ranks of the liars and corrupt Congress.

Hang on to them... love them, pat them on the back. They are the vote to saving this country from gloom and doom.

They took a hard stand today... they were blackmailed and bribed, but they stood up for the constitution. When those 200 are gone, we are dead..

Please support them, and thank you God for giving them too us.

Just remember how many of them are up for re-election. That is their motivation pure and simple. I will thank the 1 Alabamian that voted but I think it is no more than he was more scared of not getting re-elected and losing that fat retirement benefit. Until I can talk to these people face to face I will not know where they stand. There is NO way for ANYONE to know the hidden agendas in bills if they do not have time to research them. FAST TRACK needs to be ABOLISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, here's an idea! Gee why don't they put bills out there for the public to see and scrutinize! Yeah, and I have an island to sell you that no hurricane will touch!

I don't give a damn what their motive is, they did listen to their constituents. I, like many of you, are struggling on a day to day basis to make ends meet. CNN and all the media are tearing these people apart for voting nay today.... we must keep them voting in that same way, NAY !!

As many major economists have said, lets have a recession.... One year and we will be finished with it. But these bailouts (money we are borrowing and don't have), will put us in a 10 year DEPRESSION !!

Time to draw the line in the sand now, and I am so proud of the hold outs, who told pelosi and bush where to shove it !!!

Can we get a list of who voted which way??

Personally, I think "motive" is very important because those with less than honorable motives can be convinced to change their vote at a later date. For example, someone like Rep. Poe (R-TX) is not going to change his vote under pressure, however, the same can't be said for some of the Democrats who voted "nay" simply because the bill was not friendly enough to the folks of ACORN, La Raza, etc. Furthermore, the bill did not allow bankruptcy judges to rewrite mortgages (something else the Dems wanted). They wanted to protect the taxpayers and viewed this plan as a step towards socialism.

I'm not going to pat anyone on the back that may have had questionable motives (Republican or Democrat) because I'm not so sure it's their constituents interest they are worried about. Besides that, I'm going to be busy working the E-verify issue and what may be another bailout attempt.

You're right though, many of them do deserve our gratitude. I'm just not sure of who they are though because I can't be sure of what everyones motives were.

I will thank them for voting no, but I will not give them a pat on the back for a job well done. If they had done their jobs prior to this, we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place. I will thank them when they solve this problem the right way and these crooks are getting carted off to prison.

Like you said, how do we know some of these no voters won't change their mind later when this bill gets brought back up again and we know it will.
