    Not a word about the possibility of repealing "The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act of 1986 (EMTALA)" which is credited for helping drive U.S. medical costs up to their present levels.

    It seems that if a plan is in place that would DESIGNATE Federal Funds for the healthcare, then the States would take such a big hit for their healthcare. Why don't we just bill their country of origin?

    Others in the crowd said they're concerned about too much being spent on healthcare for undocumented workers. Weiner said covering them is still better than forcing them to get all treatment in hospital emergency rooms.
