Hillary Clinton’s allies are scanning the political landscape as the former Secretary of State warms up for a likely presidential run.
These allies are focusing on four potential Republican White-House challengers: Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, Chris Christie and Scott Walker.
Bush is a former Florida governor. Paul is a U.S. Senator from Kentucky, and Christie and Walker are the governors of New Jersey and Wisconsin, respectively.
According to the Washington newspaper The Hill, “Clinton . . . believes Paul has run the best ‘pre-campaign’ of the group.”
Furthermore, Sen. Paul has worked to attract Republicans and Democrats to his cause, which makes him someone to watch. But according to The Hill, “Bush is the top name to roll off everyone’s tongue.”
However, that’s more of an assumption than a fact, in the absence of in-depth surveys.
If elected, Jeb would become Bush the Third in the White House, following his brother George W. and their father, George Herbert Walker.
“Dubya” and the father, of course, both are lifetime members of Skull and Bones, a highly secretive Yale fraternity that some allege is a conduit for back-door promotions into the highest levels of the U.S. “ruling class.”
Jeb could raise millions in a flash and would have the financial support of Karl Rove’s super-PAC, “Crossroads GPS.”
Some believe Jeb could make inroads with Hispanic voters, who have defected from Republican candidates in the last two elections.
Accordingly, a Democratic consultant who worked on Mrs. Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign noted: “For a Republican, [Jeb] . . . could easily carry Florida, a swing state.”
And according to Mitch Stewart, a senior adviser to the Ready for Hillary PAC, Gov. Walker and Sen. Paul jump out as strong contenders.
Stewart noted: “Rand Paul in a primary could be someone that excites a group of people who would not normally participate.”
In addition, Paul was discussed as someone Democrats need to watch during a Ready-for-Hillary fundraising event in New York two weeks ago.
And Gov. Christie is also worth watching, although many in the Clinton camp believe Christie might “shoot himself in the foot.”
Gov. Walker just won reelection in a “blue” state. But some feel he does not have the same national name recognition as the other three Republicans.
But Mrs. Clinton and her husband have plenty of “name-recognition,” especially regarding:
• HillaryCare
• Chinagate
• And the mysterious Vince Foster murder, among other scandals.
These thorny issues were never really resolved. HillaryCare involved the former first lady creating a national health-care scheme behind closed doors.
And both Mr. and Mrs. Clinton were implicated in the strange death of former White House associate Vince Foster—during the Clinton presidency.
Chinagate implicated President Bill Clinton RELEASING sensitive military technology to China in return for foreign campaign contributions.
So, the real question here is why most of the national press acts like these serious Clinton scandals never happened.
Beyond that, maybe what really matters is a good Congress. If Sen. Paul runs for the White House, most national media would oppose him and might help defeat his presidential bid. That happened in 2008 and 2012 when Rand's father, Ron Paul, ran for president.
Therefore, Rand Paul--seen by many as a man of liberty--could lose his Senate seat. So Americans might ask themselves if the White House is really so important. A good Congress can oppose a bad president—just as it could help a good one.

Hillary Clinton, Empathizing with America’s Islamic Enemies will only get You a Caliphate

Earlier this year, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) put forward an anti-Muslim Brotherhood bill that would label the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization. In light of her warnings of the infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood into the US federal government and Egypt’s declaration of the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, she also pointed the finger at Hillary Clinton’s Muslim Sisterhood adviser Huma Abedin, who has familial ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, as evidence of that infiltration. Now, Hillary Clinton believes America should “empathize” with its “enemies.”

In a recent speech given at Georgetown University, Clinton spoke like a true liberal who has been embraced by the Muslim Brotherhood, and possibly compromised by her affiliation with Huma Abedin.

“This is what we call ‘smart power,’” she told the audience at Georgetown. “Using every possible partner and tool to advance peace and security, leaving no one on the sidelines, showing respect, even for one’s enemies… trying to understand, and insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view, helping to define the problems, determine the solutions…. That is what we believe in the 21^st century will change the prospects for peace.”



As Ben Barrack has pointed out, “Abedin’s mother Saleha is a leader with the Muslim Sisterhood along with the wife of Egypt’s former President and Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Mursi. Abedin’s brother sat on boards with Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi. Huma herself worked for years at the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA), which was founded with the help of al-Qaeda financier Abdullah Omar Naseef, a Saudi, who also served on the IMMA board for a time.”

“Abedin’s bonafides as a Muslim Brotherhood plant notwithstanding, the notion that the solution to victory is empathizing with the Brotherhood is ludicrous,” Barrack adds. “It is an organization that seeks world domination and a global caliphate.

Instead of learning from historical documents that lay out the plans of the Muslim Brotherhood to destroy America (and yes, Clinton is aware of these documents), as well as her own failures as Secretary of State in which she employed Al-Qaeda members as security in Benghazi, resulting in the attacks that left four Americans dead, Clinton is still holding on to the ties of Islamic supremacists.

While understanding an enemy’s ideology is helpful in defeating that enemy, it is not useful when one considers our enemy is Islam. Islam is a totalitarian ideology that seeks complete and total world domination, through means of murder and deception.

As Christians, we know that part of destroying the enemies ideology is through the weapons of our warfare, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

We destroy those ideologies with the truth of Scripture.

However, when we are dealing in the civil sphere, we not only engage the truth of Scripture, but we also seek to protect physically those who we are given authority over.

Therefore, the ideology that Mrs. Clinton is advancing is an ideology that seeks her own destruction, as well as those she is seeking office to govern. How can this woman ask people to vote for her when she is seeking to empathize with America’s enemies and even employee them as her advisers?
The Muslim Brotherhood has clearly documented its determination to destroy America from within (just like the communists) by using our liberties against us. We have seen it time and again as men who should be designated as part of terrorist organizations such as Hamas-CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood front groups, not only enter the White House, but even serve as advisers to the Executive Branch.

The fact that America has put a usurper in the White House, who has never renounced Islam, but panders to it and is now poised to possibly vote in a woman, who is a communist disciple of Saul Alinsky and lover of Islam, tells me that America is under the judgment of God. If America will not repent of her ways, how can she hope to stop Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, the Muslim Brotherhood or any of her enemies?

As far as this writer can see, with the statement that Hillary Clinton gave in this speech and the actions she has demonstrated in her time in “public service,” it should be clear that not only is she compromised, but she is a traitor to her country and should be dealt with accordingly. This is exactly why it is important to properly vet a candidate.

As Ben Barrack rightly concluded, “Empathizing with forces that want a caliphate will only get you… a caliphate.”

Correction: Mike Rogers dropped the ball on Benghazi, methinks the damage to his career is irrevocable. Yes, that bad. Because he would grandstand on Benghazi. He increased his stature on Benghazi. He spoke for all Americans who were repelled and mortified by the cowardice and loss of life and the subsequent lies. Lies and more lies.

More people are stepping forward now. Why now? Perhaps they believed that the system would eventually work and the obvious truth would emerge. Naive, yes? But understandable. What they didn't understand was the absolute immorality and treachery of the Obama administration. The good always underestimates the evil. The rational always underestimates the left.
Trey Gowdy is chair of a separate Special Panel on Benghazi, to which he was re-appointed as chairman on November 24. Trey Gowdy's Special Panel on Benghazi, which was formed only in September, has yet to release its report. I had thought this was his report. I reserve judgment until he releases his findings.

The intrigue surrounding September 11, 2011, in Benghazi is not going away.
CNN's Jake Tapper reports that two CIA contractors present at the Benghazi attacks on September 11, 2012 have called a recent House Intelligence Committee report on the subject "full of inaccuracies."
John Tiegen and Kris Paronto, two contractors who were eyewitnesses to the attack, have issued a statement detailing 13 inaccuracies they found in the House's report.
According to Paronto, one of the most serious issues related to the attack was the delay between the State Department building being attacked by a Libyan mob and the response from CIA personnel to provide additional security.
The CIA contractors assert that the delay, which lasted at least 27 minutes, according to Paronto, despite the CIA annex being located only 1.2 miles away, "was a severe military tactical mistake made by leadership figures who had little to no military training or experience in combat operations, and the delay cost the lives of Ambassador Stevens and Sean Smith due to them dying from smoke inhalation-something that takes time."

This delay, according to the contractors, was the result of how the CIA chief of base mishandled the situation and hindered in the rescue attempts.
According to the House report, no security officer was ever given an order to stand-down or told to not prepare to aid in the rescue effort.

However, CIA contractors have called that "grossly inaccurate." Paronto said during his hearing that he was delayed and told to wait to provide security for the State Department building twice. During that time, he heard Tiegen be told to "stand down."
That account jibes with the timeline from the evening.

Furthermore, the CIA contractors told CNN that the CIA staff had known for approximately two weeks prior to the attack that a possible incident was likely. The contractors noted that after having received a be on the lookout report that "the operators moved their body armor, long guns, ammunition, night-vision goggles, and other tactical gear into their bedrooms, so they could more quickly 'jock up,' as they called preparing for battle."
Tiegen and Paronto have written a book "13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi," concerning their accounts of the Benghazi incident.
Interestingly, Drew Griffin and Kathleen Johnston of CNN reported in August 2013 that the CIA "is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing, remains a secret."
Tapper notes that the House Intelligence Committee report asserts that the "CIA did not intimidate or prevent any officer from speaking to Congress or otherwise telling his story."
Nevertheless, these two CIA contractors are clearly determined to set the record straight.
"We have continually attempted to take the 'high road' and not delve into the political weeds, until we were once again called liars by the same government we had sworn to protect," Tiegen and Paronto stated to CNN. "We never did what we did that night into the following morning to support agendas, political parties or presidencies. We did what we did that night to save the lives of fellow Americans and defend American soil. We disobeyed orders and went to help the DS agents and our friends because they were under attack by terrorists and were on the brink of death. Now it's our turn once again to set the record straight, show integrity and tell the truth. It's a pity though that the truth is something that's not very popular in today's society."

If there’s one thing that’s certain, when a Clinton makes a comment it’s not an off-the-cuff kind of thing. It’s rehearsed. Deliberate. Choreographed. Likely focus group tested. And it is designed to accomplish something. So it is with Hillary Clinton’s “smart power” notion.

She’s no stranger to the term. Joseph Nye, an Assistant Secretary of Defense under her husband’s Presidency, developed the concept and has written extensively about it. However, the smart power he and others envision isn’t a one for one match with what Hillary Clinton talked about.

Smart power involves the application of both kinetic, lethal military action as well as efforts to win hearts and minds in war zones. During Bill Clinton’s administration, it involved nation building and commitment of US forces to various places – the Balkans, Haiti to name two – for enforcing the peace and humanitarian reasons. In many ways, it informed the Bush strategy in both Iraq and Afghanistan – apply force as necessary but at the same time provide local populations with things they need to give them a stable environment from which peace might be possible. Such an application of military resources is quite a bit different from what’s gone on under Barack Obama for the past six years. Under Obama, military force has been used piecemeal and often in a reactionary mode.

That then is the first part of Hillary’s smart power. In venturing forth with her vision of what smart power should look like, she’s attempting to drive a course as distant as possible from the example of her husband and Bush, while spearing more decisive and engaged than the current incumbent. In other words, she’s staking out foreign policy turf. Thing is, the particular section of turf she’s taking is of the Dennis Kucinich far left.

To make it palpable, it’s important for her to hijack and redefine smart power itself. Smart power, as traditionally defined, is a policy favored by the centrist think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Dropping bombs and rebuilding communities for better or worse is well established. If Hillary is to sell her view of foreign policy she must steal the term smart power from the center and make it apply to her far left point of view.

“Empathizing” and trying to “understand” how and why our adversaries think and behave the way they do has nothing to do with application of hard military power. Given the nature of our current adversary, it’s evident no degree of empathy will lessen their level of barbarism. And contrary to Hillary’s thought process, we aren’t at war because of some grave misunderstanding between east and west. It’s much simpler than that. They want to subjugate us and, if they can’t do that, they want to kill us, hence they wage war against us.

Hillary’s smart power ignores their war against us, which is an ignorant mistake. It’s as ignorant as the current incumbent’s notion that we could simply leave Iraq and Afghanistan and war would stop. Warfare involves two parties; it doesn’t stop just because one party to the conflict decides to stop fighting. We’ve seen over the past six years where unwillingness to understand that have taken our world. To follow that with four years of Hillary’s “smart power” would only serve to make Earth a more dangerous place than it already is.

This won’t look good for the presidency.

The Select Committee on Benghazi, chaired by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), convened today in Washington, D.C., to review the securing personnel and sovereing U.S. territories around the world, which include embassies and consults.
The witnesses called to appear and testify before the committee were Assistant Secretary for Diplomatic Security, Greg Starr, and Inspector General for the Department of State, Steve Linick.
During the hearing, Congresswoman Martha Roby (R-AL), like many of us listening to the heariing, seemed to be bit perplexed as to why after the 2011 Benghazi consulate attacks, the Department of State was still having global issues of vetting guards that are supposed to be safeguarding our U.S. assets.
Secretary Starr confirmed that there were indeed a handful of U.S. installations that did not have properly vetted guards, and that outside of spending top-dollar on private security, that they were actively looking to remedy the problem.
Gowdy batted last, and ask Starr, who was not capable of answering the question of, who saw the request, and or denied the request for a machine gun to be installed on the rooftop of the Benghazi consulate?

Clinton exploring spring announcement

Hillary Clinton is considering the details of how to launch her presidential bid, with a formal announcement likely to be in spring 2015, according to The Washington Post.

The Post reports that Clinton and her aides are also considering cutting off talks with outside groups supporting her ahead of the run. That would establish a formal barrier because of rules preventing coordination between a campaign and outside groups. Clinton is also weighing whether to establish an exploratory committee ahead of a formal announcement, the Post reports. The newspaper also says some advisers are arguing Clinton does not need an exploratory committee because it is unnecessary for such an established candidate.

The reported moves in the Clinton camp are further evidence the likely Democratic front-runner plans to run, despite her public statements that she has not made up her mind.

Clinton's scheduling of paid speeches for as late as March has spurred some doubts, given that she is expected to stop giving paid speeches once she announces a run. But under the timeline indicated by the Post story, she appears to be holding off on an announcement until after March.
The more formal barrier between Clinton's inner circle and outside groups would also put an end to current consultations.

Groups like Ready for Hillary, Priorities USA, and Correct the Record have been building supporters lists, fundraising and messaging on Clinton's behalf.

Last month, a number of long-time Clinton advisers gathered in New York at a Ready for Hillary event to prepare.

Intel Committee Chair’s Sabotage of Benghazi Investigation

I have had just about enough of this. There is more than enough information available in the public record that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich) sabotaged the Committee’s investigation into the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
A recent report released by the committee and the process that gave rise to the report was widely criticized for avoiding scrutiny of the Obama administration’s Benghazi response, and has drawn complaints from Republicans on the panel and some survivors of the attack.
Why would the esteemed chairman do such a thing? As I said – the information is out there. For months now, it has been reported in a number of reliable venues that a private military contracting firm run by Rogers’ wife Kristi Rogers, was hip-deep in intelligence and government security contracts in Libya at the time of the attack on the consulate where four Americans were killed, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
The White House lack of response is what got our people killed. Much of the criticism of the President, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and others, has been in the area of questioning their competence. My long-time contention is that the White House deliberately withheld desperately-needed support that night, if they didn’t orchestrate the attack to start with.

Then, there was the grotesquely feeble White House narrative about an anti-Islam YouTube video that supposedly incited local rabble to attack the consulate. Information relative to the film’s producer, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, being a long-time agent and informer for the Justice Department also abounds, but hasn’t made it into mainstream media reports for some unfathomable reason.
To put it indelicately, Mike and Kristi Rogers are the consummate Washington parasites. Mike Rogers is a seven-term representative, making a calculated ascent to chairman of the Intelligence Committee in January 2011 – just in time to have a hand in pretty much everything relative to U.S. operations in Libya. At the same time, Kristi Rogers made a lateral move to the private sector from government service (as many of these leeches do) and joined the British-based security contractor Aegis Defense Services. Kristi’s job was the establishment of Aegis’ U.S. subsidiary, after which the company won several major contracts with the U.S. administration.
According to The Daily Caller, June 6, 2014:

A spokesperson for the House Intelligence Committee noted that “strictly observed and enforced” policies required “that there should be no interaction with Mrs. Rogers on any matter relating to the official business of the House” and “no interaction between the Committee and any representative of Aegis.” There is no evidence of wrong-doing by Rep. Rogers or Aegis.

So the wolves are truly guarding the henhouse. We know that Benghazi was about the Obama administration’s unlawful transfer of armaments to jihadis in Syria; incomprehensibly, this has been overlooked by Congress. Since Kristi Rogers’ company, Aegis, was working intel and security in Libya, one can only guess at this point (particularly given the subterfuge and obfuscation at hand) how deep their involvement truly was.
Micah Morrison of Judicial Watch referred to the committee’s investigation process as “an insider’s game of covert operations and corporate profits played out in the gray areas of law and policy.”
And indeed it was. If you’ll recall, even Sen. Lindsey Graham described the committee’s findings as “garbage.”
Far more disturbing than the garden variety scandal of a sitting representative and committee chair attempting to shield his spouse (and probably himself) from revelations of their conflicts of interest, is the fact that in so doing, Rogers is now complicit in aiding and abetting the Obama administration in crimes attendant to Benghazi.
Invertebrate power players in the GOP eschewed heaping too much criticism on Rogers in the face of the impending midterm election. This of course makes about as much sense as their refusal to hold Obama accountable for his myriad crimes in order to preserve his legacy as America’s First Black President.
In light of this, those interested in getting at the truth of the Benghazi attack, whether families of victims, survivors, or lawmakers, were vexed at every turn by Rogers, whose concerns were little more than personal damage control. To this end, it has been reported that stonewalling and witness intimidation were employed, as well as Rogers deftly misdirecting the procedure where he could.
So, we have an ascendant dictator in President Obama, and a Congress that runs from every opportunity to hold him accountable or better, to dismantle his criminal regime. I have maintained for two years now that the truth about Benghazi would put Obama, Hillary Clinton, and a host of White House minions in orange jumpsuits for a long time. Will the opportunity to dispatch this treasonous, radical operative be missed on account of one bloated Washington pig and his trophy wife?
For now, it would appear so.
