I am amazed at how ignorant and seemingly unconcerned many of my Christian brethren appear regarding the very real threat to our liberties that a burgeoning New World Order presents. I have previously written two columns on this subject that I trust all my readers will share with their pastors and fellow churchmen (along with others, of course). See the columns here and here.

I hear what you say and I know what I have been taught........I was told, be not afraid these things MUST COME TO PASS.....is that where we are?

These are interesting times to be alive. The subject of end time prophecy is my passion. Pro or con it is amazing. Prophecy is unfolding in our time daily. The Bible says to "let not your heart be troubled" for these things must come to pass. Things are going to get alot worse.
One prophecy, a big one, happened in 1948 with the return of Jews to Israel. Jesus said this generaton will not passaway before the return of Christ. The arguement is whether a generation as defined in Gen. is a hundred years, or defined in other scriptures as seventy years. Israel is the prophecy time clock and are currently "surrounded by their enemies". Christians need not worry. Before the worst of the worst happens, we will be taken out of here. After Jesus was killed, he rose, body and all. He was showing us this is possible. The rapture is sometimes a hard pill to swallow, but there is order in the universe.
I don't want to come off like a know-it-all because Idon't. When you see what is happening Biblically, there is a sense of peace that replaces the fear and frustration. Doesn't mean things won't make you mad or that you should stop fighting for what you believe in, it is just nice to know and see that God is still in control.
While the state of Israel is a timeclock for prophecy, the Jewish people in general do not believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. That is not to say ther are no Jewish Christians, but they are few.
What's next?
The next world wide prophecy to happen, in comparison to 1948; will be the "outpouring of the Holy Spirt. Many scholars believe this will be a worldwide revival. I know that the outpouring will cause people to accept or reject Christ as the Son of God. Many more will come to believe he is the Messiah. Yes/no decisions will be made. There will be those who still waver in the middle, but not like today.
I would love to hear your opinions. I do not know everything. Christ commanded we know the signs of the end times. The world is not going to blow up. Remember he rules as King of Kings and Lord of Lords on earth.
