I'd be less concerned with their campaign rhetoric and more concerned with their past record on the issue. It's a known fact that Thompson is a member of the CFR and his past record, as graded by NumbersUSA, is a C. IMO, we can do better than that, much better.

Duncan Hunter for President in 2008.
Here's the latest gradings among the GOP on amnesty grading. I just got this today. I'll be voting for Hunter in the primary; if his numbers don't get better, it looks like Fred.

First , I believe by law William cannot back any of the candidates

You have to look at the records and go from there

I am going with Romney simply because he does have a past record of
enforcement and he has a real chance of winning

    Also

Tom Tancredo and Sheriff Joe Arpiao both back Romney and they are
a couple of the biggest names in our movement

    Rudi loves amnesty
    McCain loves amensty
Huck is full of BS and would back amnesty

Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter are both great candidates but
have very little chance of winning even though I think Paul will
go further an Hunter in the race

Its your choice , just remember this could be our last shot
    at getting it right

I'm thinking real hard & leaning towards Fred Thompson. Of ALL of them, I believe he was the first to come out with a plan to get rid of the Illegals in this Country. Besides Tancredo & Hunter I think he understands the situation BETTER than the rest. And, when I look at a future President the MAIN thing I look for is COMMON SENSE!
Fred has that, now if he would get Hunter on his ticket or Newt Gingrich, I HONESTLY think we could take our country back. God Willing.
POP, Thompson is a CFR member and the last thing we need is to have any president with that affiliation.
He was not the first to have a plan. Hunter and Tancredo came into the race with a plan in mind long before any of the other candidates decided to "get tough" on illegal immigration.

    I agree about Fred

Not because he is CFR but because he seems
to have a hard time staying awake
