Thread: Why Detroits in trouble(Ford video)

Look at the video, I got this from a friend . Very interesting. And the US gov is going to pay out billions to keep them from going bankrupt. I'm sure everyone knows the root cause of Detroits' problem. The UAW. The big three also have plants here in Thailand.They will take the bailout to build more overseas plants. Our gov has flipped it's lid. And the US taxpayer will ultimately foot this bailout.



They want us (Taxpayers) to bail them out here in the U.S. . . . . . . .
they need to get "A Better Idea" . . . . . . . .

This is a video of a Ford vehicle plant in Brazil.

One look at this, and you will be able to tell why there will never be
another GM/Ford/Chrysler auto plant built in the USA.

It also points out why industrial assembly plants will ALL go offshore

Bailing them out will accelerate job loss in the US. A couple of years ago I took a night course at a local college and one of the students was a Ford employee. His job was to make database entries of all Ford Employees by skills sets. Once they found an applicant in India who had the same skill set they fired the American employee at Ford and replaced him with the Indian one.

If we give the auto companies this money it will be the same as rewarding them for firing Americans from their jobs and cause them to fire more Americans.
